Amazing place, beautiful views peaceful mornings! Lots of space to walk around and admire the Roos and birds. House was fully self contained and very homely. Would definitely stay again here.

We visited the area for a local open garden event and the Stoneleigh Miners Cottage was the perfect weekend accommodation. We felt so warmly welcomed, with thoughtful touches throughout the home to make our stay not just comfortable but special. Our highlights were sipping port by the fireplace and a peaceful breakfast on the verandah! Tim was a friendly and responsive host and the local recommendations were great. We would very happily stay here again!

I had the pleasure of staying at Lady Marmalade a beautiful home, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, I was struck by the stunning decor, thoughtfully curated and stylist, yet warm and inviting. Every room was well-appointed with attention to detail, make the space feel like a true home away from home. One of the standout features was the thoughtful little touches like the high-quality toiletries and homemade marmalade and other food goodies left out for guest, a lovely surprise. Overall, this home is a true gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway with a personal touch.

We loved our relaxing stay here after a big road trip. Amie was very kind and accommodating for our check in (and out) times. The house was presented beautifully and all the amenities made us feel right at home.

We had a wonderful two nights in the Garden Loft at Poets Lodge. A beautiful and comfortable space that was ideal for a weekend getaway. Angeline and Richard were responsive and gracious hosts.

Beautiful little area, easy to find and clear check-in instructions, the spa was the perfect temperature, very clean and the perfect distance from town to be walkable but also nice and quiet and very private. The only issues we had was a lack of sponge or cloth to wash the dishes with but aside from that it was well worth it, I highly recommend

We've stayed here before and thought it was impossible to improve on this space - how wrong were we?! Sandy and Rob have refined and improved this beautiful space creating greater comfort and sense of indulgence. From the generous breakfast supplies (enough for lunch!) and welcome champagne, to the luxurious steam room and garden hot tub, along with the perfect indoor-outdoor theatre room space to binge, read or play a board game, this is a space you can easily hide away in with no need to leave. That said, we do recommend the short stroll to the Cafe, bakery and pubs - the food is FABULOUS! You could travel somewhere else, but when you find a space like this, that ticks ALL the boxes, there's no need! Planning our next trip already...

My husband and I had a lovely one night stay at Lizzie’s cute little place! We loved the greenery inside and outside the house, the quiet area it’s in, the bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here, and we would love to come back on winter to chill in front of the fire.

Neal was a great host from check in to check out! All the thoughtful extras were appreciated. The cottage felt very welcoming and homely on arrival and throughout our stay. A beautiful base to travel within the Central Goldfields region. Neal's knowledge of the area and recommendations were appreciated as we were able to visit some of these places which we enjoyed.

We had a great stay at Daylesford Country Retreats. The accommodation was just as described and as per the photos. The beautiful scenery around the property made our stay so peaceful. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for having us!

Piccolo was the perfect spot for our anniversary weekend. Private with just the right amount of luxury thrown in. I loved that the bedroom area was separate from the main living area. It was also nice to have a drink and a meal on the outside table overlooking the Hepburn Hills. Only minor downside was that nothing was in walking distance, but we had our car so that wasn't a problem. I'd highly recommend for a couples' getaway.

Great little place in the heart of Chewton bushlands. Grant was extremely communicative beforehand and even checked in during our stay. The house was as described and expected and very clean! A great stay!

Our stay and studio 1 was amazing! Nicola was a great host, very responsive and friendly when we had requests but also respected our privacy. The studio is decorated Beautifully and we spent a long time admiring her furniture and how well it was put together. We stayed here over our wedding weekend so the photographer came to take some photos beforehand and she agreed they are going to be stunning, the old buildings and beautiful gardens are the perfect backdrop. Couldn’t recommend Nicola’s place more highly for wedding accomodation or just a relaxing weekend away in beautiful Castlemaine.

Really enjoyed this unique accommodation in Castlemaine. Loved the decor and attention to detail. Short walk down the street where we were able to enjoy all that Castlemaine has to offer. Peter helped make our stay easy to manage and quickly replied to any questions I had. Thank you so much for fantastic stay.

Lovely old miners cottage. Great bed. Had everything required for a relaxing stay. Short walk into Daylesford. Nice extra touches.

Apple Cottage is in a lovely peaceful part of Maldon, felt very much enjoying the country life but a short drive to town. We loved how cosy and calm the cottage decor and the beautiful short strolls around the streets into the town. Having access to a stove and oven was also awesome to heat the home cooked food we bought, definitely a place could relax and stay a few days! Enjoyed visiting the honey factory gift store just around the corner too!

A great historical setting fully equipped. Excellent internet connection. A good shower and a really comfortable bed. Ballarat has a good selection of eating establishments within a few minutes drive. The brilliant Sovereign Hill historic gold mining village is also near by. We would certainly stay here again.

Lovely quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature and rolling hills. The interior is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a weekend away. I loved the fireplace and the timeless furniture! The only thing that could improve would be that the shower pressure was quite low, and the hot water ran out very quickly! All in all though it was a fantastic stay!

Matilda’s Cottage was a perfect little spot that catered two nights before our wedding and our wedding night. While we are local, I highly reccomend utilising this cosy quiet accommodation. You are not far from gisborne vineyards and town centre and a short drive up the freeway into the Macedon ranges. Take a short drive continuing up benson rd you’ll grab a nice view of the valley. Thanks for having us!

Great location in Ballarat central very close to everything. We arrived late so Sue had put the lights and the heater on for us which was greatly appreciated. Very tidy and cosy cottage we enjoyed our long weekend .

Excellent communication from Roger. Attentive host who checked in regularly and immediately dealt with minor problems. An excellent property and host experience.

We had an amazing stay here! It was a lovely home away from home. The nature at the cottage was beautiful. Elbert was a great host and shared the ins and outs of what to do in the area. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! 🌿
