We had a lovely few days here. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had all amenities we needed. A great location, close to the high street and walks in the surrounding area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. House was exactly what we expected; presented to a high standard, but still cosy and inviting. Bedrooms were spacious, bathrooms were clean, living rooms were comfortable, kitchen was well-appointed. Couldn’t ask for much more! Lovely surroundings. We enjoyed exploring the grounds on a walk to the next village. Truly beautiful area.

We had a lovely stay at Boulsdon Croft. The setting is absolutely beautiful with so many nice places to sit and relax. We made good use of the hot tub and the lawns and enjoyed the communal spaces in the kitchen and upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped and we were left a lovely basket of food and a very tasty cake. Laurence kept in contact and was very helpful. All of us would absolutely come back and think a summer stay would be incredible.

We had a fantastic night away. India was welcoming and made us feel at home. I would absolutely stay again, I think it would be even more beautiful in Summer.

We had a wonderful time staying in Barrys home. The house contained a lot of memorabilia and artwork, which at times could be over stimulating but kept us entertained at the same time. The property had all you could ask for and more. The contact with Barry was easy, friendly and informative. We would highly recommend Barry and his wonderful home.

Fantastic stay at the Crown. Brilliant set up for a get together. The team couldn’t have been more hospitable - delicious food and generous welcome. We will be back! Thank you.

This was the most perfect Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Such a wow factor and I’d say that some of the interior photos just can’t capture how beautiful it really is. Already planning when we can squeeze visit number 2 in. So so happy we chose Ebony Cottage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an amazing weekend and it was the perfect house and location. As a group of friends it was ideal as all of the bedrooms were ensuite and there was plenty of space for everyone. The only real downside was that the dining table was not large enough for us all to sit around - but we managed. The kitchen was ideal for chatting and shaing snacks whilst dinner was being prepped - a real social space. We loved the games room and had a lot of fun in there. We enjoyed a lovely walk on May Hill and the gardens of the house are beautiful and spaceous. Ultimately if you are looking for a house to share with a large group of people , whether that is family or friends then I / we would recommend.

The retreat is in a beautiful location , surrounded by hills, countryside and lovely walks. The property was beautifully clean and welcoming and the swimming pool is an amazing facility. Everything was perfect , and we will definitely be back.

This holiday home was ideal for us, being a couple with a teenager and needing an extra room. The sofa bed was big enough for our 5’10” son. Everything was spotless and we loved the decor. We found it quite easily having checked it out on an online map before we went. The area is quite hilly. Parking is good. The shower and bed were perfect. Lovely to have the extra fun of animals outside. The view in the morning was wonderful. We drove to a local town and bought some chunky bread to have with the eggs that the owners had left us, and milk too. Perfect breakfast with the view :) Would stay again next time we visit the area.

Booked Georgie’s beautiful cabin for a weekend away for my wife’s birthday, and she kept saying all weekend: “I think this is the best place I’ve ever been!” That just about sums up our weekend; we were lucky with the weather, the clear skies were the perfect canvas for those stunning views from the veranda, and the drives to and from Hay-on-Wye were very pleasant (albeit incredibly pothole-y!). The cabin itself was perfectly set out (and we are fairly harsh critics of this sort of thing normally!) and we felt incredibly relaxed the whole time. Georgie was very helpful and accommodating, and we felt very looked after. Would definitely book again in a heartbeat!

We had a perfect little weekend getaway in Rowan's Cabin. Beautiful, peaceful setting which was ideal to relax in. The cabin was super cozy, just what you need after a long day's walk.

We’ve loved our stay at Georgie and Andy’s place. It was exactly what we’d hoped to find, a cabin in peaceful surrounds with full privacy. It’s at the back of their property, surrounded by trees and hedges, next to an orchard with resident sheep. Birdsong in the morning, stars at night. It’s perfect for two and ideal for creatives. We didn’t have a car, so enjoyed the walk into Ross for whatever we needed. We never felt that anything was missing and hope to return again. Thank you for having us, it was wonderful to meet you.

A lovely stay at Cynefin Retreats! The place itself was clean, modern and cosy! With the hot tub and firepit for those added holiday extras. Good location for exploring the surrounding towns and lots of nearby walks. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Lorna!

Wow! Maybe it's because I was looking for a quiet time away by myself, but this place just met my expectations and then some! Tranquil, amazing hosts and the most beautiful surroundings! Marjorie responded promptly to every query and she and Tom made me feel right at home! She made time to show me some of the amazing local places and invited me to feed one of their newly born lambs. To top it all they accommodated me to witness the birth of a lamb literally on the morning before I left. I left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, inspired and I can't wait for when I can go again! The cabin is basic but has all one needs. The views, quiet and friendly hosts more than male up for it! Thank you so much Marjorie and Tom! 😊

The place was perfect for a relaxing few days. It’s well equipped, clean, and comfortable, with excellent views over the surrounding countryside.

This is an ideal place to stay for families and small groups to get together. In peaceful location and private grounds. The lodges are very clean and have everything you need for a weekend or week away from home. Would definitely use again and will recommend highly.

This was our second visit to the Lodge, and yet again it was a fantastic experience. It is cozy, comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Delia is a fantastic host and I would encourage others to stay if they are in the area. We hope to return again.
