Silvie's Cottage is a true delight! Welcoming, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and feels like a home from home with lots of extra touches. Off road parking in a lovely residential street which is only a short stroll into Church Stretton and a choice of walks straight from the door with no need to use a car. The garden is lovely and adds to the overall atmosphere of a warm welcoming cottage. We loved our few days stay, would highly recommend and plan to return again....hopefully soon! Absolutely lovely cottage in a lovely location! It was exceptionally clean when we arrived. Kim gave us very clear instructions on how to find the cottage, along with lots of recommendations of things to do! The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need for cooking, the only thing we would change would be having salt and pepper shakers rather than sachets. We really enjoyed the different flavoured coffees! We really enjoyed the local area- the local pub is a 3 minute walk away, and we also visited the local shop. We walked along the canal from the village to Crickhowell, which was a very easy and beautiful route! If we had stayed longer we would have made use of the bike hire in the village. The only thing we would have added would have been some board games/card games for when the weather isn’t on side! We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come again. Thank you, Kim.

So quite and tranquil, perfect break away

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!

We had a lovely few days stay at Zoe's beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed, parking on the road or in the car park just a stones throw away, was in easy walking distance to the town centre, lovely riverside walks nearby, great pubs and a great base to explore the surrounding areas.

The Scrumpy Hut was very comfortable, warm, clean and cosy. The kitchenette was well kitted out, our first time using an air fryer but was great! The hut has lovely private views of Sugar Loaf and Skirrid all from the luxury of an outdoor bath! A few days without telly was a dream and searching through the puzzles and games provided was very wholesome ...breakfast basket was delicious too. Our kids loved their bedroom and playing with Scrumpy that dog, they didn't want to leave!

Quarry House was everything we needed to enjoy some family time away from it all with all the modern amenities of home - and more!! We loved the hot tub and the house tech, the log burner & play room! Using the playroom in the evening once the children were in bed felt a little like being in the pub 😀 It could do with some TLC with the windows & carpets but it didn't hinder our stay as it was clean and warm with the heating on! Lots of character & spectacular views! We enjoyed a milestone birthday here enjoying walks & meals around the large table! Small minor mishap getting in but easily & quickly resolved & lots of option to communicate throughout the stay as hosts very responsive! Thank you for a lovely stay. Would stay again!
