Lovely place for a good combo of beach, lake, dunes, hiking and relaxing. Hosts (Karen/Brandon) were very informative and responsive. Well recommended.

Second time we've booked this house, genuinely one of our faves!

This is a stunning property - well worth the price paid. The house was very well appointed and the all the furnishings made it feel like home. The location of the property is also great. We enjoyed doing the coast walk which was in close proximity. The house is close enough to the central areas, whilst also being situated in a very private neighbourhood. All in all a great experience

We had a fantastic family stay at Carol's beautiful beach home. It was spotless. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and we felt at ease and relaxed from the minute we walked in. Nice courtyard at the back to entertain and keep out of the wind on some of the days. Otherwise, a lovely braai spot in from of the house on the verande with ocean views. Morning coffee on the veranda every day, with a view of the ocean, was a treat. Just a short walk down the path to the harbour with restaurants and little shops as well as soft serve ice cream. A brisk 2km walk down to the main beach all along the coastline making. Carol was super friendly, and her home is truly a gem.

We had such a great time at Ciska’s place!! She made a huge effort to make sure we had everything we needed for our family with 2 young kids. The house has such a relaxed vibe, is super comfortable and well equipped. Safe neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, fun beaches… best vacation ever!!

We really liked this house. Nice quiet location. Well equipped. Enjoyed the hot tub and pizza Oven. Comfy bedrooms.

This was a weekend of a lifetime.. This house is so lovely and we all immediately felt at home. So much thoughtfulness has gone into creating the home. Sitting in the heated indoor/under cover pool with a view of the mountain, while watching our friend doing the bbq/braai was one of those moments of shere gratefulness. It was a double blessing that we had a weekend with out wind in Betty's Bay. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us!

Zebra’s View is an incredible retreat, perfect for relaxation. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The ocean views are breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to witness dolphins and seals playing in the water. In the distance, we even spotted a whale spraying water, which was magical. The wildlife adds another layer of charm—beautiful birds frequent the area, and the zebras made a delightful appearance on the small strip of lawn just in front of the patio. A couple of things to keep in mind when booking: 1) There is ongoing development around the property, so if you’re staying during the week, the noise and presence of builders will be disruptive. 2) The path nearest to the house that leads to the beach is quite steep, which could be challenging for elderly guests or those with physical limitations. The historic Herbert Baker design provided a comfortable and homely space to dwell in. Our family felt at home immediately. Its was a privilege to have spent the few days at this property.

This place is really amazing. It is value for money. The pictures are exactly what you will get and more. Lots of space as well as not to close to the neighbours. The place is extremely clean and well put together. A very beautiful venue to break away from the city or just have some time together with family or friends. The host is friendly and accommodating.

We have booked Bruce's wonderful Whale Huys for our extended family holidays... we were a small group of nine people. I used to live in Gansbaai and De Kelders for a decade in 20 years ago, and my parents and my brother's family had already visited the region also. What a pleasure to discover Bruce's amazing house and to be able to enjoy Walker Bay and the coastline of De Kelders from this house. René, the property manager, welcomed us to the house and showed us the facilities. The house was absolutely perfect for our family and our stay... we just wish we had more time. The house is stunning and offers incredible views over the Ocean and Walker Bay... looking westward, the sunsets are just stunning. The house had every amenity one could need or dream of. The rooms and spaces were spacious, comfortable and perfect, the terraces were amazing, the bar room overlooking the pool was ideal, etc. Just the perfect home away from home. I highly recommend this house when visiting the region!

Beautiful surrounds and location. Penny was very communicative and helpful. There is a separate agreement and deposit over and above Airbnbs terms, which was not completely clear in the listing. Other than this, very happy to recommend a luxurious stay.

a great house in a wonderfully quiet area. perfectly and very tastefully furnished. a few minutes from the beach. with a bit of luck you can watch zebras from your bedroom in the morning ... hildegarde and thys are wonderful and helpful hosts. we would love to come back ...

Very quiet and peaceful. Off the beaten path and unplugged from reality. We really enjoyed it.

What a lovely stay at Thuula Havens. I’ve been eyeing it for a while, so happy I finally went. It was everything I needed. The communication was clear and so were the check in instructions which we appreciated. As you walk in, the decor makes you at peace, the location is secluded and perfect if you’re looking to switch off from the buzzing of the city. The hot bath was easy to use. The bathrooms are immaculate. I love the 2 shower heads. It’s close to the Hemel en Aarde wine farms which are lovely. I’d recommend anyone to experience Thuula Havens. Ps. It is in nature and there’s a beehive and you get occasional visits from the bees (which we welcomed).

We loved the accommodation, very tranquil and secluded. The view was amazing and we enjoyed every minute spent.
