The house was nice and looked like the pictures. I think it had not been stayed in for a little bit before our check in as it had a little musty smell , but we opened the windows and it cleared out quickly. Myla was very responsive with the couple of requests we had during our stay The property is nice, but small backyard as most of the space is in the front. The driveway was as described - definitely a hill :) The closest town is Summersville which has everything you need for a week away. Nothing that Myla could prevent but there are dogs at the corner who bark ALOT! Just a heads up in case you bring a dog who barks when they hear other dogs barking.

The cabin is very cozy and clean! Our pup loved the backyard!

This is a great place to stay in the NVR area. Within minutes to tons of trailheads...as well as restaurants. The cabin was clean, cozy, plenty of room. The outdoor space was great, I wish we'd had used it more but did too much hiking...will definitely stay again! As well, Kristi was very responsive with anything we needed and knew the area well. Thank you again!!!

loved the place. even tho we beside the main road it was still private. it was a very cozy place. he was a great host and very responsive and very accommodating. we will definitely be staying here again. the hot tub was a plus and very clean!

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our getaway! The space was airy, and beautifully designed. We especially loved the comfortable beds and the peaceful outdoor patio - it was the perfect spot to relax. The location was quiet and private, which is what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area, and plenty of storage space. This was the second time I’ve rented this place for my family’s new year’s getaway . My family loves it here. Very quiet,relaxing and lots of room. Plus it’s not that far from town to run and pick up extra supplies. Owner is very nice and very responsive if you are in need of anything. Would definitely use again.

We loved this house! It is BEAUTIFUL, and my group definitely wants to stay here again! We traveled from the PGH area for the Mount Nebo St. Patty's Day parade at the Tractor Bar. On Friday, we enjoyed the hot tub, laid out in the yard while sipping drinks in the sunshine, used the kitchen to make a nice family dinner, loved seeing all the deer in the yard, watched a movie, etc. Saturday was parade day, so we were tied up with that all day! The home is spacious! We only had 5 people, but this place is set up to accommodate many more! Grab some friends and go enjoy this house, because it's worth every penny! The hosts are great! They're very responsive, accommodating, considerate, etc. I'm very pleased with their communication and flexibility. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Nice place to relax after a days work outside. Good restaurants close by. Much better than a hotel. Beds were comfortable. Layout was great.

This was a perfect spot for our anniversary weekend (visited from NC). Super cozy and quaint. Lewisburg is a beautiful drive for great food spots. Loved how dark the bedroom gets for an amazing night sleep in a comfy bed!

We had a great time at this house. The interior was impeccably clean and organized. The kitchen and laundry areas were well stocked with everything you could think of. The exterior is peaceful, quiet and conveniently located near the National Park. The hot tub was huge, super clean and relaxing. I only had to make one call to Saymon and he responded quickly and solved the issue over the phone. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We would definitely return to this property in the future.

We felt right at home here. Our two little city dogs had the best time in the fenced yard. They were able to run and play and we were not worried they would escape. We enjoyed both decks and spent quite a bit of time on them. We enjoyed listening to the river across the street. We were easily able to cook our meals here as everything we could have needed was available. It was only my husband and I, so we didn't take advantage of the basement area as we could have, but we did play a round of pool. Overall, we would gladly come back again in a heartbeat.

Very convenient to New River Gorge, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, and so much more. The land on the property is worth seeing, so beautiful! Christy was fast to respond and the home had anything you could think of you needed. The house was clean and comfortable for me, my boyfriend, and our four dogs. Worth staying!

It will exceed your expectations!!!! As we walked in, the layout and beauty of the cabin took our breath away. Not only was she the best host I have ever dealt with, she was giving the most helpful responses literally within minutes. To top it all off as we walked into the cabin we all shared a common thought, "I would only stay here next time." She captured West Virginia at its finest; beautiful, polite and peaceful. From the start, we were getting late and Gary and Julie were very understanding and accommodating. They met us at the property and showed us how to use everything. Their instructions were quick, accurate, and made us feel very welcomed. The location is perfect. It's right next to the national park, which you'd have had issues finding parking even early in the morning. We went on a hike and came back to use the outside grill to make steaks and veggies. This place was so relaxing and the rustic cabin let us focus on recharging. Every detail from hand written welcome notes, to binders to find local food/delivery, hiking trails was very thoughtful. I had forgotten a couple essentials and walmart was within 15 minutes of the cabin. This place is perfect for a retreat from the city!! Thank you Gary and Julie!

We loved our stay in the cabin. It was so peaceful. We got visits from deer every evening & shows from the lightning bugs every night. We enjoyed eating our meals on the screened in patio. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax before bed. The twin beds were not very comfortable (& they were also really squeaky). The other beds were fine, though. If you’re terrified of bugs & spiders, this probably isn’t the place for you. They weren’t excessive, but they were regularly visible. Mostly daddy long legs, nothing too scary.

We had a great time. The unfortunate situation was what we chose to stay in which was the only reason we went there had a frozen pipe issue. The cabin was originally from 1840 but we had to stay in a more modern one. They did upgrade us to a bigger cabin but it was only two of us. We did have our hearts set on staying at the original one we chose. It worked out we had a good time actually there was nobody else there and it was very peaceful. He did communicate with us unfortunately it was through email and we were on the road and I did not see it till we got there. Once again it was a good time though.

This is such a cute little cabin and in the perfect location for great hikes and restaurants! It was very clean, relaxing and overall a great stay. Would suggest to anyone!

This place exceeded our expectations. Beautiful cabin on a beautiful property, was great for our dog to run around and super private. There is another cabin next to you but the way everything is positioned makes it so private. I would recommend new listing photos because to be honest I thought the cabin would be a lot more outdated because of the listing photos but we were pleasantly surprised. It ended up being our favorite place on our trip. Very peaceful and loved the property and the hot tub.

This place was perfect! It was far enough off the grid providing peace and quiet and soothing nature. We loved this place! It was beautiful inside, clean and user easy. We had no issues. There was even cooking oil and spices in the cabinet and coffee every day. The linens were fresh and clean. The house was tidy and spotless! The decks were amazing and we spent a great deal of family time on the front porch or playing games on the kitchen table. I would give this place 4 out of 4 stars! Just awesome!!!

It's always a treat to find a unique place off the beaten path to spend the night as I try to avoid hotels if possible. I also enjoy tiny homes and the creative way people make use of the space.
