Fiona en Richard zijn super vriendelijke mensen waarbij je je heel snel op je gemak voelt. Richard kookt smorgens een heerlijk ontbijtje. De bedden zijn zaalig. Het uitzicht fantastisch ! Kortom ; alles klopte.

We can’t say enough good about Rhoda’s place that would accurately say how good it was! Rhoda was so friendly, wanted to make sure our stay was perfect and was so willing to help us with suggestions and anything else. After a long day I said to my husband “let’s go home” referring to Rhoda’s place. It definitely felt like home to us! You would never be disappointed by staying with Rhoda! We truly loved her and her family! 💕💜💕

I had an amazing three-night stay at Anne and Mark’s place in Kingussie. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The house was cozy and welcoming, offering the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Anne was an exceptional host—responsive, friendly, and always eager to help. The breakfast each morning was perfect, setting me up for a great day ahead. Their dog and cat were also a delightful part of the experience, making my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was Anne’s recommendation for a five-hour hike, which I took and absolutely loved. The surrounding nature is breathtaking, and the remoteness of Kingussie makes it an ideal spot for those looking to escape and unwind. While Kingussie might not be for everyone due to its secluded nature, I highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace, tranquility, and a deep connection with the outdoors. Anne and Mark’s hospitality made my stay truly special, and I would love to return!

John is a wonderful host with a very nice, quiet, clean room available for those who are walking the West Highland Way or want to explore the beautiful surroundings of Kinlochleven. John is very hospitable, knowledgable and tunes in on what his guests need or prefer. A very recommendable stay and truly enjoyed my time in Kinlochleven. Thank you, John!

Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour chez Fiona. Son mari et elle sont des gens extrêmement accueillants. L’espace qui nous est dédié dans leur maison est spacieux avec une bonne literie, une salle de bain optimisée et un petit déjeuner quotidien. L’emplacement a seulement quelques minutes de Portree en fait un lieu très accessible, et très bien placé sur l’île de Skye. Je recommande +++

Tolles kleines B&B. Das von Maggi mit viel Herz geführt wird. Blitzsauber. Großes Bad. Ruhig gelegen. Würde wieder dort übernachten auch wenn es auf die Isle of Skye ein bisschen zu fahren ist. Tolle Landschaft. Am Abend sollte man zum Eilean Donan Castle fahren. Beleuchtet und keine Touristen Massen.

Great quiet place tucked away off the road, very easy to find. Ian makes a great homemade hot breakfast to start your day! Lovely sitting room that we spent a couple nights in meeting and getting to know other guests. Close to the ferry terminal as well which was helpful for our early morning out. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at Ornum Cottage, a charming bed and breakfast near Beauly and close to Inverness. The peaceful and scenic surroundings made it a perfect retreat, and the location was ideal for exploring both the countryside and the city. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with a delicious breakfast that added a special touch to the stay. The hosts were attentive and provided helpful information, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Ornum Cottage for anyone looking for a tranquil escape with easy access to Inverness.

This is a lovely place to stay. Perfectly located and easy to find. Juliet was quick to communicate and very kind. The room is a really good size with a nice bed. The bathroom is huge, shower has great heat and pressure and we appreciated the heated towel rack. Self-serve breakfast in the morning was really nice too - a selection of cereals, yogurt, toast, fruit, jams, juice, milk and tea. Would definitely stay again!

Highlight of our trip! We got engaged the night we stayed there and waking up to such a great breakfast the morning after made such a great moment for us even better. Totally a must stay in Skye. Thank you, Sheila and Malky!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Valentina was the most accommodating host my wife and I have ever had. She is extremely sweet and made sure we always had everything we needed. The house was lovely and the guest room and bathroom are both very spacious. The bed was comfy and the towels were soft. If we ever come back to Skye we will be staying with her again. We cannot recommend staying here enough!

Comme à l’Hotel ! Idéal pour une nuit. Logement très bien situé, face au loch et à proximité de restaurants sympathiques ainsi que de nombreuses attractions touristiques. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Angela ist eine sehr sympathische und warmherzige Gastgeberin, wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei ihr. Der Check-in war unkompliziert, das Zimmer und vor allem das Bad sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Am besten waren aber unsere leckeren Frühstücke und die netten Unterhaltungen mit Angela. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Susan and Derry are legends! If we could give them and their beautiful mountain view home 10 stars, we would! Their warmth and grace went above and beyond even the best Scottish hospitality, which says a lot. The homemade Scottish breakfasts were to die for. The room and the bed especially were so comfortable and truly every detail was considered in making our stay perfect. We cant wait to visit again!

The accommodation is in Morags home in the spare room with a nearby bathroom. It’s a real example of the original intent of Airbnb. Morag is delightful and very helpful. There is a good range of inroom breakfast options with home cooked bread. It’s close to the famous Inverewe Gardens in a lovely coastal highland setting.

Sara was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm and the bathroom was spotless. The Old Surgery looked out onto the water and was in a great spot for amenities. Would definitely go back there. 👍

Joyce’s place felt like home as soon as we walked in. The surrounding area is beautiful and the hosts were very welcoming. The room was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The best part was the morning experience when we pet the animals after an amazing breakfast. Even though it was rainy it felt magical. Highly recommend staying when in the area.

Les conditions d’accueil étaient très bonnes, les hôtes sont très gentils et aux petits soins. Les espaces correspondent à la description et aux photos, nous y avons passé un très bon séjour !

We had a great stay with Chris! The location was ideal…only a ~7min walk to the bridge and access to restaurants and other city offerings. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with yummy snacks (& even a little whiskey!). Chris definitely knows how to make a delicious made-to-order breakfast! I appreciated his communication l, not just during our stay but even before our arrival, making some great suggestions of places to see along our drive to Inverness. Chris is a wonderful host…we enjoyed chatting with him each day!

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Excellent B&B! We stayed in the Balmoral room, which was very spacious, had a charming patio overlooking gorgeous pastures and mountains. The bathroom was also large and lovely! Very comfortable bedding and access to good wifi, TV, and tea cart when winding down at night. The breakfast was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the home cooking and baking was superb. Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Hosts were friendly and had good recommendations for local diners and activities.
