A very nice place to stay that is something a little different. The castle is not easy to get to, but it is worth it when you are there: quiet, relaxed, with lots of trees. The rooms are super clean and well furnished. The host is very helpful and friendly. This is highly recommended for anyone looking for an adventure in a castle.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The terrace is perfect when u love nature, sea, sheep and highland cattle. Lots of walk are possible from here. About the castle it’s really a stunning one. Services are at the best with all confort needed … it’s really a jewel and we hope come back here in the future.

Beautiful, comfortable room in a castle! Lovely luxurious break from camping. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Great for exploring Stornaway for a night. Wished we stayed longer!

We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay. The cottage was clean and tidy, and had everything you needed. We felt so at home here and didn’t want to leave. Our host Mimi, was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. A beautiful and peaceful place to relax and enjoy. It far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return. Thank you again Mimi for the hospitality.

Mansfield Castle is great, authentic and loved the history (and two redwood sequoia trees at the front!) Good chat with John, the owner in the bar. Great breakfast, cooked to order. Only negative was that the bed was a bit hard.

Absolutely amazing property. Out of our 10 day stay in various establishments in Scotland, this was hands down our favorite. Would definitely stay here again.

What can I say.... it's a friggin castle! Like, a real castle. It's out in a super peaceful rural area and the grounds are immaculate. The space is huge and clean, and you won't want to leave. The bathrooms stood out to me because they are very modern, large and extremely nice. When we left, we were wishing we had a few more days to spend there.

Just stunning, I’d give 11 out of 10 if possible. Most beautiful stay we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. We want to live there. Special mention to Sarah at reception, wish I had employee like her. 5 mins walk to anything you need in a beautiful location. Many thanks Dan & Paula

We had an amazing experience at this place. We were a family of two adults and two teenagers visiting Scotland. We stayed at the Fort Augustus Abbey for 7 nights to explore the Highland, lakes and islands. The apartment was large and very comfortable, inside an old abbey and its huge park, facing a large green field. The location is truly exceptional, directly on the banks of the Loch Ness, close to all facilities. Most of the apartment looked very recently renovated. The furniture and beds were great. The kitchen table and the living area furniture were clearly used but not at all worn out. There were some stains on the carpet but nothing bothersome. The apartment was very comfortable with a huge dining table, lots of space, two full bathrooms, very comfortable kitchen area, etc. The abbey was great overall, a very nice park for walking or just sitting around, table tennis, open-air chess, swimming pool, etc. By far our best Airbnb experience. A bit pricey but absolutely worth it!

Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Am Anfang war es etwas mulmig in einem Castle zu Wohnen Aber alles sehr schön.Sehr sauber und alles mit Liebe gemacht.Morgens wird man vom Hahn 🐓 geweckt 😉 Waren mit 7 Personen dort. Kein Telefon Empfang dafür aber WLAN zum Planen der Touren. Ein Ort mitten in der Natur sehr schön Ruhe Entspannung . Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt 😀

What a gem! We stayed off season and felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. This is a high end rental and the care in its keeping shows. The kitchen was exceptionally well furnished -- well beyond any rental we've stayed in. The entire apartment was immaculate. The beds were comfortable. Our children really enjoyed the indoor pool. We can't wait to return in summer when we can take full advantage of everything the club has to offer. You will not regret booking this apartment.

David was a communicative and helpful host. We enjoyed our stay at the castle and enjoyed chatting to Ryan, the castle chef. It was such a fun experience to stay there

Vi havde et super skønt ophold. Det er virkelig et fantastisk sted. Vi er en familie på 5, som boede i lejligheden i en lille uge, og der var masser af plads til alle. Det er helt klart et ophold, som jeg vil anbefale.
