Amazing house with absolutely stunning views. Very spacious and clean. Our party ranged from 7 to 72 years and there was something for everyone. The snooker table and hot tub were definitely favourites. We would highly recommend this house to others. Thank you for having us Gail, you were a perfect host!😊

Sarah was a great host! She was very responsive and the house was immaculate upon arrival. The house was very well located to make the most of the amazing surroundings. If anything was needed it was easy to get in touch with Sarah if we had any questions.

We stayed here for my Dad’s birthday to climb some munro’s. It was a great location only 15 mins drive from aviemore with great restaurants. So many walking routes nearby, beaut surroundings. Loch Insh is on your doorstep with lots of activities to do there. Linda’s place was lovely, it had everything you needed and very tastefully decorated with plenty of space for a group. A wonderful highland experience. Would absolutely stay again, thank you so much!

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

Louise’s place is in a perfect location, close to the centre of town and easy access to walking/cycle trails straight from the door. The house has everything, so well equipped and comfortable, and the enclosed garden was great for the dog. Loved the fuss free stove for getting warmed up quickly after being out and about. Would definitely stay here again!

We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay. The cottage was clean and tidy, and had everything you needed. We felt so at home here and didn’t want to leave. Our host Mimi, was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. A beautiful and peaceful place to relax and enjoy. It far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return. We loved our stay. Tucked away in your own little corner of a working farm with only sheep and highland cattle for neighbours. What's not to love?

This place is a real gem with stunning views ! Our family really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and well equipped! And there was clear and great instructions for everything.

The stay was very comfortable with excellent facilities. We enjoyed the privacy and warmth of the place , we enjoyed every moment . Apart from the stay one thing we found confused was to spot the green waste bin.The trash bin was quite far from the accommodation. We think keeping the bin near to the house rather than at the end of the road will be helpful. We appreciate your efforts for arranging such a wonderful place . Thank you

Grant and Laura were perfect hosts who made us feel very welcome and provided invaluable local information such as where to find fossils. Their cottage was beautiful, well equipped with everything you need (even fast WIFI) and toasty warm with underfloor heating and a cozy open fire. Lots of space in the cottage and a lovely jacuzzi bath to relax in after walking through the stunning countryside in the surrounding area. A perfect holiday for us. Would highly recommend and we will definitely return.

Came here for a couple of days hill walking. The Old Checkpoint has everything you need in a great location. Lovely views. Spotlessly clean. Comfy bed. Barry was welcoming without being intrusive. (If you get the chance, pop down to the Midge Bite for a wee treat while you're here. Delish).

The apartment was fantastic. The pool, steam room and sauna were a great addition after long days of hiking. It was quiet and a beautiful area.

We enjoy this cottage so much that this is the 3rd time we have been. The perfect place to relax.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der alten Abtei sehr geliebt - wir haben uns ein bisschen gefühlt wie Harry Potter in Hogwarts. Die Wohnung war sauber, gute ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Die Außenanlage der Abtei ist ein Traum und der Pool ganz wunderbar!

A lovely, modern, well-designed environmentally sensitive building with three en-suite rooms opening on to a spacious living/kitchen area. Great views up towards Ben Nevis. Being about mid-way on the island exploring north and south on foot is easy. Wonderfully near the only shop and the community centre cafe and museum. Food at the cafe is punching above its weight for a small island with a great menu. Clare has an organic kitchen garden which can provide fresh veg if available plus eggs from the chickens.

This cottage truly is off the grid. The owner Tilly had to drive us there from Tomintoul 15 min drive. No other house in sight. Just pure hilly countryside with about 100 deers hanging out in the field in front of us. Amazing peaceful place with outstanding views. No WiFi but liked that. Good 4g reception and digital terrestrial TV with a DVD player and choice of DVDs. We made good use of the hot tub daily and the sauna and even braved the plunge pool a few times which has fresh water from the mountains. Quite refreshing. We did a couple of day trips to Loch Ness 90 min and G2 adventure 50 min away. Local village Tomintoul has a nice village shop with amenities and pubs and restaurants. A restful idyllic place and good value for money.
