The house is comfortable and clean and the kitchen is very well stocked! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best weather and we had to unexpectedly cut our trip short, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the backyard or fire pit or the area! We’ll have to make another trip to explore!

Katie was the absolute best host - super accommodating & easy to work with on my hectic wedding weekend. The place was amazing & so relaxing before the big day!! We will definitely be back.

We had an extended family birthday celebration and Derek and Lauren’s place was perfect for our large group! There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a ton of space to spread out! We loved sitting out on the deck during the day and the kids loved the fenced in back yard. It was a great weekend and we would stay again.

Very cozy home nestled in a lakes side community, there’s a boat ramp just within walking distance . The master bedroom has an impressive surprise of a huge tiled walk down in shower. As well as a door that goes straight to the screened in porch I found more than convenient. The parking is plentiful, my team had three vehicles and an enclosed trailer . No issues with space at all there was room for more . You could easily have three full truck and boat rigs parked here maybe 4 . Best part for me was the security on the property, it has cameras all around it which made me feel secure about being there and my possessions being safe outside . I use air bnb on a monthly basis and this is most definitely a property I will use again when in the area . The host is extremely helpful and friendly , I highly recommend if you’re in the area. Such a nice cottage for a few days away. Clean and comfortable furnishings inside and outside. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the doves in the neighborhood. The lake was an easy walk and the whole area was Clean and felt safe. Jason and Kat are so helpful with recommendations for places eat and towns to visit. Clifton is a very nice small town with a little shopping and places To eat. Thanks for letting us stay! Definitely super hosts!

My college group gets together twice a year (April/October). We recently lost our "go to" place because of a sale, and really struggled to find a comparable substitute. Luckily, we found Brittnie's place. The property (acreage that borders Lake Whitney) and house(s) were perfect for our needs while also being clean and comfortable. The large main room is truly amazing and the ping pong table/pool table/shuffleboard table were all great. We will not have to search for a new place again. We had a great stay here! Everything was just as described, and we lucked out and got the place to ourselves. They have thought of literally everything, from extra towels to coffee options to setting out bug spray and lanterns for us. We were a little further from Waco than I realized, but that's on me! We cooked out for the most part and enjoyed the silence and time together so much. The bed was super comfortable and the outdoor seating was plentiful and nice! Camping in a safari tent with a real bed and floor are a good introduction for someone who's just getting started with their outdoorsy life :)

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. The home us in a campground very close to a beautiful lake. It is equipped with dishes, towels, and toiletries. The area is very peaceful. Waco is only 35 minutes from this location.

Jackie's Jewel was an ideal 4BR, 2.5 BA house for our family and dog to spend Thanksgiving holidays. There was plenty of room for us to cook with a well stocked kitchen, watch football and movies in the 2 family rooms and eat, do puzzles and games in the dining room. We loved the outdoor patio, large fenced in yards and the short walk to the lake. We also enjoyed Wed night fajita special at Tres Hermananos Mexican Restaurant, shopping in downtown Whitney and golfing nearby. We appreciate Jackie's hospitality and recommend this Airbnb to families that want a homey atmosphere.

The hosts were very genuine and the descriptions of the list activities were accurate. Pure freedom for anyone that likes the outdoors and marksmanship

This place is stunning! You can see the river flowing right from the back porch! We saw so much wildlife to include a road runner, armadillo, and a opossum. Oh and the birds are heard everywhere! Fishing was decent just not off the bank I think it was due to how strong the winds were while on our stay. Becky provided recommendations to local places which we tried and they were fantastic! Our kids loved the silos to shower in! Such a unique place we will definitely be back soon!

Our stay at Celia’s place was the most peaceful and quiet one we had in a long time. Far enough away from cities and civilization noises and that was exactly what we needed. We only had one night but wished it would have been more. So, we would be happy to come back. Another big plus for us was that her place was dog friendly as I never travel without my pups. We also loved to stay in an RV as we always wanted to try that but haven’t had the chance yet. Celia was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Great host! Thank you, Celia!

The house is super cute and comfortable. It was easy to get to especially in the daytime LOL and the instructions to get in were clear. The rooms are clean the bathrooms were clean. I am big about clean bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and it was a nice peaceful open area. It was only about a 15-minute drive from the Civic center. That wasn't bad to drive back and forth daily. Quaint and quiet place.
