Charming vintage home in beautiful surroundings. Very spacious.

Very beautiful area! The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We wished there was a kayak available...will have to bring one next time. We were able to see the start of leaves changing colors on the trees...gorgeous! We plan on returning when we are back in the area!

I will not hesitate to book again

The house was very clean, spacious, and had everything- and then some!- that we needed. There was even a helpful business card for a local dispensary. The location was amazing, very peaceful and beautiful. We saw an eagle, two heron, and two geese families as soon as we turned onto the road before we even got to the house! Definitely bring your own kayak- that's the only regret I have.

We rent quite a few Airbnbs with our travels around Hillsdale and other places. Diana's home stands out for cleanliness and value. We actually ended up booking this very last minute and Diana was very communicative and helpful. Everything is very updated and comfortable. We even played some of the games there for guests to use. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be booking again when back in Hillsdale if available!

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

such a detailed, friendly space! stayed for a wedding weekend and it had anything you could need from an iron to all the extra toiletries. Plus was so relaxing and cozy. our host personalized recommendations too, would definitely recommend if you're looking for an adventure or for a place to crash in the beautiful Irish hills.

We stayed during the off season but I have to imagine this place is amazing during the summer. We had a great time. Beautiful view of the lake.

This’ll definitely be a AIRBNB I’d rent again for my next visit to Michigan! Beautiful surroundings and close to Michigan speedway! Was clean when we first arrived and just felt like home!

We had the most amazing time at Will’s home. It’s exactly as described. The home is so cozy and has everything you could ever need. We cooked in and went to a few of his recommended restaurants. Will was extremely responsive from booking to departure. We hope to stay again. Perfect location and the hot tub and deck are fabulous!

This was a wonderful place to stay for my first self vacation! It was peaceful, relaxing, and had all the amenities I needed. The host gave me many suggestions of local and surrounding entertainment. I could not have picked a better place to relax and enjoy!

Lovely clean up to date home. Well appointed. Great restaurants nearby. Our winter stay was cozy and comfortable. Great to have the gas fireplace. Cheryl was accommodating and responsive. Hope to return in the summer.

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! And for the use of portacrib and a few toys for our 8 month old grandson! You guys are awesome, and we hope to be back soon for another visit. Much gratitude! Lauren and Steve and family

This was the second time we've stayed at the Golden Retreat cottage, and it won't be the last. It was the perfect place for our family of six to stay during the Hillsdale College's family weekends. The house goes above and beyond providing all the details, a beautiful view, a cozy atmosphere, comfortable beds and pillows, quality furniture, and all the kitchen supplies you need. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the selection of games provided, the living room set-up for talking and laughing together, and the morning room which I used for my workspace and morning coffee! Magical Winter Weekend! Our girls' weekend at Cook’s Cottage was absolutely perfect! We were looking for a cozy winter getaway, and this place exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The house itself is beautiful and spacious, with stunning views of the frozen lake. It was the perfect backdrop for our winter wonderland escape. We spent our days curled up by the fireplace, playing games, and catching up. What truly made this trip special were Corey and Michelle's thoughtful touches. Corey’s handcrafted lattes are amazing!The cooking class with Michelle was the highlight of the weekend. Delicious! The house was impeccably clean, and the amenities were top-notch. Corey and Michelle were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. They truly went above and beyond to create a memorable experience.
