Marites was an amazing, helpful host, very friendly and likeable. The caretakers that live next door will prepare local Filipino food in the evenings if you wish and it is amazing. The house is located in a beautiful location, a bit of a hike, but worth it for the where it is. .Locals are very friendly, I have made some really good friends and will be visiting them again, hopefully with a better grasp of Cebuano though. The property is very clean and comfortable, with a variety of cooking appliances including gas which is handy during the occasional power outages. There is the handy use of a Honda scooter, which I loved seeing the sites on and you can get to Baybay City in around 10 minutes at a leisurely speed, but be aware if you haven't driven in an Asian country BE CAREFUL, traffic regulations are totally different.

This was our second time to stay at their place. And I always miss their place and feel at home. Will definitely go back there. And I recommend the place. It’s peaceful and quiet. And near to a nice resort and restaurant. Walking distance. And The host is friendly and responsive. Thank you Ate Chris and Norman for letting us stay in your beautiful place.

We love this place and stay here a lot. Planning to back around Christmas for our next trip - I recommend this owner thoroughly.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Padre Burgos qui est une destination peu touristique où nous sommes venus pour plonger. Les coraux sont très préservés et visibles même en snorkeling, à moins d'une dizaine de mètres du bord, sur toute cette côte et même en face du logement. Il y a aussi des tortues. Le logement est spacieux et propre avec un frigo personnel dans la chambre. La cuisine est partagée. J'ai adoré rencontrer et discuter avec Sharlene et sa famille. Ils nous ont aussi donné de bons conseils pour découvrir cet endroit. Un grand merci <3

well if you are visiting baybay I would definitely plan on staying here ,very good host and caretaker on site ! great place to stay with everything you need in the house ,place is so quite,did not walk down to ocean but has the option to ,agusan resort right Close for fresh water pool ,great on hot days ,I loved staying here and would definitely stay again !ps good wifi and has Netflix a pluss

Overall the place is really nice and peaceful, you will hear ocean waves 24/7, just what we are looking for really, no cellular signal inside the house and no wifi, the tv is also broken when we arrive, but this is okay for us since what we really wanted to do is disconnect from the world. The host is very responsive and guided us on how to get there without being lost since we are not familiar with the place.

Our host was extremely helpful and proactive in communicating, making sure we have arrived and everything we needed was there. The house was large enough and just right for our group. The cats outside were quite friendly. Thank you for your hospitality! ☺️

This place is close to everything. Walkable to market, church, laundry, bus terminal, ferry port. It’s a great place to stay. The caretaker offer us if we want the malunggay or horseradish in English and kalamsi (smallest like family of lime) don’t know in English we can pick if we want. We enjoyed our stay because all the native foods like Bingka, suman and lanka(Jackfruit) and also papaya are fresh in the market. Maybe i will be back in my next vaccay

We really enjoyed our stay – a lovely and clean guest house with everything you might need. The beds were very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. We had privacy and at the same time felt completely safe. We also really appreciated being able to park our car in the garden behind the fence. Everything was perfectly prepared upon arrival, and Rex explained everything to us. Rex is a very friendly person, always quick to respond, helpful, and gave us great advice whenever we needed it. Communication with him was excellent throughout our stay, and we can only recommend this accommodation!
