If you like quiet peaceful place with great views this is the place. A short easy drive to town for groceries or dinner. Great hikes nearby come home have beverage on the porch and watch the sun set with the sheep and horses (Mickey and Ringo)

Tracy’s house is a true gem - modern and clean with a mind blowing view and direct beach access, you really couldn’t dream of a more fantastic setting. It must be said that the house is on the smaller side, and while there is plenty of sleeping capacity, the dining table is very small with only two stools. If the weather does not permit sitting outside on the deck it makes for rather cramped quarters - we unfortunately felt that it was not a good fit for our group of 7 adults. Also of note, there is only one shower and one toilet, again making it a tougher fit for a larger group. Despite this our host Tracy was very kind, accommodating and responsive. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back as a smaller group of maybe 2-3 adults.

An absolutely fantastic stay. Such a stunning location and the cabin couldn’t be faulted. We really appreciated all of the kitchen supplies and amenities. We would love to return someday.

We really enjoyed staying at Niagara Ridge Retreat. The house was comfortable, view was amazing, and we liked the location.

Sally and Ian’s air bnb is absolutely gorgeous! It is in a quiet, beautiful location with a pond in front and mountains in the distance. The interior of the house is so clean and tasteful. They have truly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The ultimate comfort was turning on the electric bed pad on a cold rainy night. We enjoyed watching the ducks out front and sitting on the patio. This location is convenient to Doubtful Sound ( highly recommend), Milford Sound and hiking. Te Anau has a wonderful grocery store and very good restaurants. I cannot say enough good things about this air bnb. It was the highlight of our trip! Thank you Sally and Ian.

I had the pleasure of booking the Kawau's Airbnb, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment our staff arrived, they were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything they needed for a comfortable stay. Anneke was an incredibly thoughtful and attentive host, always available to answer any questions, and made sure they had everything they needed to feel at home. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. I highly recommend Anneke and Jason's Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay at Scott’s place. Lots of amenities like a grill, air fryer, and dishwasher. Two washers and one dryer. The place was very clean and they had lots of towels available for our family of 6. Nice location in Te Anau only a 3 min drive to the city center. A very nice deck facing the mountains so you can see the sunset in the evening. Overall, one of our favorite places. Also, very accommodating when we forgot a couple items 😬. We highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Leane’s place. She was super responsive and helpful. The house was spotless and we felt right at home. It was the perfect peaceful country escape. The alpacas and sheep were also very friendly.
