Spotlessly clean, very spacious flat. Jackie offers great communication and responded immediately to questions, including adjusting the heating while we were there. Beautiful river right there!

Had a great stay here with a very quiet space that worked really well for our family. The location was easy to get to, and an easy walk to an amazing city. Would love to stay here again, our two nights was not near enough to see everything. The linens, towels and beds were very high end and appreciated. Carole had an amazing welcome package that we all enjoyed! Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a perfect place to stay and walk the amazing city of York.

Carolyn’s place was exactly as described. What an oasis after spending 4 nights in Edinburgh in a hotel with paper thin walls!! The place was clean, nicely decorated and walkable to all that is York. We had asked about laundry and Carolyn had mentioned the Walmgate Bar launderette was several blocks away. Great suggestion. Sam took care of us. Laundry dropped off at 9, picked up at 1. Highly recommend! We also took the Tour of York by AVG Guide, a free tour. Awesome! Our guide Sandi was so knowledgeable!! And a very nice person. York is a must to visit and Carolyn’s place is the place to stay!!

We had a great stay at the York Penthouse. The apartment is very centrally located. Communication with Clare was excellent and the apartment was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the hamper of treats was gratefully received! We would definitely stay again!

Tastefully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable apartment. Communication was excellent and Ellie was very accommodating to our requests. Would totally recommend a stay here.

Our stay was great. The flat was lovely and had everything we needed. The only draw back was carrying the luggage down the stairs into the flat and then carrying it upstairs to the bedrooms. This would only be a problem if someone was not capable of doing that. Zoe was quick to respond to any questions we had, which was very reassuring as we were visiting from out of the country.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here. Always welcoming . Particularly useful EV facility which saves me having to find a public point. We will continue using Jill's property when we come to York.

lovely stay for us with four children, good amount of space for us all. Lots of little extras left like a breakfast pack. Great to have access to laundry room with everything i needed. I'd just note that if your legs aren't too good there is no downstairs toilet and the shower room/toilet on the 1st floor is very small, with a door that opens into the doorway of one of the bedrooms on a small landing. Good size bathroom though on second floor. All attractions in walking distance.

Gorgeous house for a girls weekend away. The house is absolutely amazing, especially the kitchen! There’s loads of seating in the kitchen & living area with games included which we loved. Plenty of parking, super peaceful surroundings and gorgeous views of the sunset. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back 🥰

Fantastic sat at Amy’s place. The accommodation had plenty of space for our party of 7 adults and one toddler with a single bed to spare. The property had clearly been recently refurbished to a high standard. All the fixtures and finishes were of high quality. Amy was a great host, really helpful before and during our stay. I would recommend this property for anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely fantastic Airbnb - comfortable stay, spacious kitchen and living room and great location as walking distance to the historic sights, shops, pubs and restaurants. The Airbnb was very clean too.

Michael's place was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. It was quiet, clean with all the amenities, and a huge garden to sit outside. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, was in a top notch condition. A very nice touch was the bowl with chocolates on top of the counter. The only thing I wish I had done, was to have booked it for more days. Honestly, if you have a car or if you don't mind paying for a taxi, its an incredible place to stay. Reccomend it 100%.

Absolutely fantastic stay at The Loft. The location is incredibly convenient for walking into the city and the free parking was a godsend. The Loft itself is amazing, it looks great on the website but the pics don't do it justice. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, well equipped, so much space and really comfortable. We instantly felt ar home and relaxed. Caroline was a great host, lots of clear useful communication before, during and after the trip. We will absolutely book again and would reccomend the Loft as a place to stay.

The apartment had everything we could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and well set out. The large bed was very comfy. Bars and restaurants were only a short walk away. The apartment is close to the centre of town but the area is surprisingly peaceful. The welcome pack was a nice touch and was appreciated. We felt at home straight away Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and Matthew did not hesitate to work with us to retrieve an item we had left behind. it was an amazing weekend and we will definitely return. Brilliant Host, spacious flat in a great location and well presented.

A great base for our weekend at Stockeld Park! The apartment had everything we needed as a family of 4. It was cosy, clean and we felt at home. The clear instructions to find the property were helpful as we were travelling in the dark. Ian was also on hand for any communication. Check in/out made really easy too.

We wished we could have stayed longer. The beds were comfortable and it was so quiet. The drive was absolutely beautiful! Everything was so clean and cozy. Our kids said it looked like a cottage in a story book.
