The area sustained 2 Hurricanes in the previous 3 months. The home was in surprisingly good shape. The home was well furnished throughout and pleasantly decorated. The exterior of the home needs some work, but did not affect our stay. The area is awash with no-see-ums. We all were constantly getting bit despite bug spray. There are 4 good double kayaks, paddles and life vests. There were not back rests for all 8 pisitions. The back rests that were present were not very good. There is room on the property for a sizeable camper with hookup (main reason we chose this spot). Weeki Watchee State park is near by. We spent probably close to 10 hours over 4 days (all combined during our 7 day stay) and only saw Manatees on one day. All in all, we had a really nice time. I honestly don't know if we'd stay in this immediate area again (mostly do to the no see ums). The hosts are very pleasant and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay with our 3 kids. We felt right at home and enjoyed swimming in the pool every day, watching the sun rises, and fishing by the water. We were close to many great beaches and restaurants and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including snacks on arrival, extra toiletries etc, games for the kids, fishing rods, coffee and tea, and even an extra curling iron and straightener, to name a few. The hosts were responsive and provided all the info we needed. When we couldn’t figure out the AC Cindie offered to come right away to help, but luckily she gave me a call and we got it sorted quickly. Thank you for your hospitality, we would love to come back again!

Such a cute spot and a quick kayak ride to the beautiful clear weeki Wachee river. Couldn’t find the washer and dryer and Derick responded very quickly. Would def stay again :)

We had an amazing stay at this house! It's incredibly spacious, offering 4 rooms that are perfect for families or groups. The highlight was definitely the heated pool – it was so relaxing to unwind after a day of activities. The house is also stocked with plenty of kayaks, which made exploring the nearby waters so much fun for everyone. Additionally, there's ample parking available, which was a huge convenience. Kevin, the host, was exceptionally responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay again

We booked our vacation as a bucket list trip for my mom who has Alzheimer’s . My mom grew up in Orlando and had visited Weeki Wachee (where mermaids swim) when she was young. This fueled her obsession of being a mermaid when she grew up. We decided as a family that this was the time to make my 72 year old mom’s dream come true. Jennifer’s place is about 10 minutes from Weeki Wachee which is what initially caught my eye. The place was absolutely beautiful! It sits on the canal where we drank coffee and wine and watched boats and kayaks go up and down the canal. We also were able to see beautiful birds of all kind every morning and evening. There is plenty of chairs to sit inside and out to watch all the coming and going on the canal. Plus there a pool and a sandy beach in the back yard. But most of all we were able to check off one of my mom’s bucket list items and make some lasting memories with her in a beautiful resort like setting.

The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. I could cook all day in the kitchen with that view. Brought our bikes and rode to town to shop and eat. Great location. Joey was very responsive and helpful and Incredibly accommodating. We enjoyed all the amenities. Thanks Joey for everything!

What a cute little house on a lake!! Great view and a nice deck to sit outside. The private, fenced yard was nice for my small dog. The furniture was comfortable and the house was cozy. Erik was flexible on my check-in time as we had a family Wedding to attend. This was very helpful and appreciated. 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s place. We had a family of 10 and the house was plenty big enough to accommodate all of us. The hot tube was an extra benefit, not to include the amazing view from the dock and plenty of good fishing. The house is in a great location, close to pretty much everything. Jennifer’s communication was excellent, we couldn’t ask for a better host.

We loved the condo!!! When we opened the door we were so surprised how nice the condo was. Very roomy comfortable and very clean. The hosts get back to you right away. Condo is close to shopping and lots of restaurants. Beaches are a short drive away. We can not wait to come back. Will definitely stay again.

Had a great stay here ! There is lots to do in the area and local to plenty of beaches. Has many great kitchen amenities and a huge closet if you are traveling…. I would definitely recommend

Would highly recommend for anyone else looking for a beautiful spot in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that's very central and close to downtown. We had an absolutely PERFECT wedding week.

Our stay was great. The location and view was just what we had hoped for. Loved watching the birds and other wildlife in the canal. The dock was an excellent place to relax.

We loved our stay at Nella’s place. We lived in DTSP for several years so we knew all the local spots. The walkable proximity to several restaurants and Crescent Lake was just lovely. A very short drive to the Beach dr area and the Pier. The space is tastefully decorated, cozyand clean. Literally the cleanest airbnb we’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. All of the expected amenities were available. Parking was simple and the outdoor space was really nice as well. Nella was quickly responsive to any questions during booking and during the stay. I look forward to returning multiple times as we frequently travel to St Pete. Thanks Nella!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mark’s place. It’s a lovely setting by a small lake. Mark was very kind and accommodating. If we had any questions, he was quick to respond. The place suited our needs very well!

Our stay here was great. The location was perfect for our children to swim right off the canal. The fire pit at Sally's place is a plus. Sally's place has definitely made it to our places to revisit list.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Farm of Dreams! Beautiful view of the lake, great amenities, will definitely come back and stay again in the future!

This was our second stay at this cottage and we are already looking forward to booking again! My husband and I appreciate the attention to detail with every aspect of our stay. Kristen is a fantastic host. We didn’t have to bother her during our stay because the cottage is stocked with everything we needed. Another awesome stay.

The home is in the perfect location for this area. It is exactly as described and had all we needed. Back yard is small but enough room to sit by canal and enjoy the outdoors. Hope to go back soon.

We enjoyed our stay and the dogs loved the fenced yard and the friendly hoses. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. Host left us some fresh eggs and we had everything we needed for a great stay.

We can’t say enough about how great Krista’s listing is…the home was perfectly laid out, clean, modern, and so many small details that made our stay easy, fun, and relaxing. We didn’t bring our kids, but noticed how kid-friendly the home was with so many thoughtful additions like a high chair, pack n play, toys, and swings. I want to find an excuse to come back to stay again!

Tim and Jeannie are the best hosts ever! Communication and local recommendations are top notch! If you are like us, you’ll be on the go because Saint Petersburg offers so much with arts, culture and outdoor recreation that most of the time was being out and about. However, when you get back, you’ll feel like you’re at home and everything you need is right there! Sleep in and eat breakfast at the cottage, come back early and watch a movie or hit the hot tub or just do another load of laundry and hit the beach one more time! It’s so convenient and the best location ever! Thank you Tim and Jeannie :)
