The lanai is so wonderful it was hard to leave to go anywhere else. The views are spectacular! I enjoy cooking and the kitchen worked well for me. In addition, there is a propane gas grill on the lanai. The house is quite spacious with abundant natural lighting. Proximity to food shopping is excellent. We enjoyed our stay here enough that we've already reserved the house for next year.

Great property! The birds at night was a bit loud but close the windows and sliding doors and turn on AC illuminated the noise.

Great location next Queens Marketplace for groceries, shopping and dining. Great unit with all the amenities. Pool is lovely.

Sandra's place brings healing. It is beautiful, quiet, and serene. The views are lovely of ocean below, and the wind blows quietly through bows of citrus, avocado, and palms. There are likely multiple Walden Ponds on the Big Island of Hawaii, but this is one of them. Tranquility reins at this property.

My family had a great time at Kevin & Cindy’s. The unit was great and the location was perfect for accessing all of the Kona activities and restaurants. We used the pool every day and the whole experience was lovely. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. 5/5!

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 young kids) had a wonderful time at Adam's place. The location is perfect: quiet and surrounded by lush landscaping, but only a short drive away from grocery stores and restaurants. It is also a very convenient location to explore the Kona region and nearby coffee plantations. As we were traveling with young kids, we really enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen, free washer/dryer in the unit, and all the beach gear (including sand toys and towels). The private hot tub was a fun way to relax at the end of the day! Finally, Adam is an amazing host! He answered all our messages extremely quickly and when we had an issue with the hot tub, he made sure to find someone to fix it as quickly as possible even though it was the weekend.

We had an amazing stay at the Kanaloa at Kona resort. The condo was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. There would be plenty of room for 6 people. The management team was responsive and helpful. The views from the beautiful balcony patio were breathtaking—we even saw humpback whales! The property has three pools, three hot tubs, and two tennis/pickleball courts, plus stunning grounds along the lava rock shore with tidal pools to explore. We loved having access to beach equipment left by past guests. A perfect spot for a relaxing and adventurous getaway!

What a Great place! Close to everything, but very peaceful. Great for day trips! The bed was very comfortable. Which is good after a day of exploring. Very friendly host! Made sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful property.

Our stay was amazing and they were both so helpful and responsive. The space advises there are footsteps upstairs but you never really hear them and it really is your own little space.

I loved this place. Stayed here a week with my mom. The balcony is large and the view is amazing. Despite there being a pool from the apartment next door, noise was never an issue. It was a five minute drive to the downtown. The pool area was relaxing. Jason was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was our third time back and Laura’s place is beginning to feel like our home away from home! It is cooler than downtown making it feel perfect outside and in. The view is lovely as well. There was plenty of room for my 4 adult sons to spread out and stay content. I would definitely come back!

The Aloha House is spectacular in every way. From the beautiful and peaceful garden to the wonderful wraparound deck, accessible from the bedrooms, and overall comfortable accommodations. It is steps away from Manini Beach which is a total paradise - you can put a kayak in Kealakakua Bay just feet away, walk two minutes and swim in the bay or watch dolphins from the beach. Beth is a wonderful host. Can’t wait to go back!

Very clean floor, spacious rooms and patio. Located in a convenient place (short drive to Kua bay, Hapuna and the Volcano, not as dense and packed like Kona). Not many things to ask, since the instructions were clear. Very comfortable stay, one of the best airbnb we've ever stayed.

The house is magnificent with breathtaking views. They have everything that you would need. We are asians and we were surprised to find even chopsticks and a rice cooker so that was a nice surprise. As far as all the beach gear they had it all ( canopy, body boards, snorkel, umbrella, beach chairs, coolers, water shoes, everything that you would think of, they have it). No need to worry about missing an item. The only downside was that there was no A/C but they have heat extractors fans and regular fans everywhere and the weather in hawaii is nice enough that we dont think that we would have needed anyways. Overall, great house to visit with a large group and we plan to come back. Thank you so much for being a great host.

We had the most amazing stay in Kona at Richard’s place. The house truly felt like home away from home for a week. The pool and outdoor area were fabulous with breathtaking views of the ocean. The inside was perfect for our family from the dining area to the tv area to the game area where we gathered to play some of the games Richard had on hand a few of the evenings we were there. When we go back, we definitely want to book Richard’s place again! We sure miss being there this week!

Just what we needed! Beautiful, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The grounds were lovely. It was a bit far from any restaurants or shopping, but not a big deal if you’re up for a good walk to town in the morning.

We just spent one month in this lovely, comfortable townhome and had to tear ourselves away. Very private and cozy. The complex is beautiful with lush gardens, great pool, pickleball courts and a gorgeous, uncrowded beach just steps away. The townhouse had everything we needed. Brad was a great and very responsive host. The overall location is just ideal. Shopping and restaurants nearby. The best Hawaii island snorkeling spot is just a few minutes walk away. If you play pickleball, there is a very nice and welcoming pb community that gathers every morning. We had a wonderful time and definitely plan on coming back.

The Pagoda House is a destination in itself! We explored the island from there, but also spent time just hanging out in the garden and pool. GORGEOUS! It was well appointed for our extended family gathering.
