This was our First time using Airbnb - and a big thank you to Joanna and Scotty for providing the honey dew lake house as an Airbnb. Joanna’s honey dew lake house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the peacefulness,sitting on the dock soaking up the sun and warm air,since it was freezing back home up north. We felt right at home! Amazing waterfront property, great fishing, turtle & bird watching. The hosts Doug & Marcie welcomed us, gave us helpful tips and recommendations. The home is very well stocked & like the pictures. Cute decorating with lots of helpful things to make your trip easy. Kitchen is well supplied & organized. If you want a relaxing peaceful old Florida trip this is the place.

Otter Springs is truly one of a kind! The house is immaculate and has many essentials to help make your stay even better. Everything is clean and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. The outside is incredibly beautiful, private and spacious. The dock has newly updated stairs leading to the river making it easy to get in and out of kayaks & paddle boards. Nature is of abundance here as you can see several species of birds hunting for fish. We saw deer in the neighborhood. One of our highlights of the trip was being able to paddle with a family of otters for days as they played. It was magical! The kids loved having their own space in the separate house. We all spent all day on the water exploring upstream the cypress forests. It’s so peaceful to allow the river to float you back down stream to the house. You don’t even have to paddle! The water is crystal clear and refreshing. This house is a hidden gem and we absolutely cannot wait to book again!

Beautiful place to stay for some relaxation!!! Everything was clean and very modern. We enjoyed fishing on the pier and used the firepit for a nice fire at night. It was my birthday and he had a nice sign wishing me a Happy Birthday. Thank you Theodore for being such an accommodating host. We definitely want to come back for another relaxing weekend.

We loved our stay at Marni's. The house was immaculately clean and had the best equipped kitchen. Every utensil you could need and plenty of pots and pans. The location was perfect for exploring the rivers and creek system. It was quiet, with friendly neighbours. Would definitely recommend.

Such a cute spot and a quick kayak ride to the beautiful clear weeki Wachee river. Couldn’t find the washer and dryer and Derick responded very quickly. Would def stay again :)

We had a wonderful stay at this house! Everything was perfect—clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. The home had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and the location was great. The host was very responsive and accommodating, making our experience even better. Osbyel was an absolutely fantastic host—friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive from start to finish. Communication was clear and timely, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. You can really tell that Osbyel cares about his guests' comfort. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and had thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and homey. He was also quick to respond to any questions and genuinely wanted to ensure I had a great experience. It was a pleasure staying at a place managed by someone as thoughtful and dedicated as Osbyel. Highly recommend him as a host!

I was familiar with Floral City and was coming for a quick get-a-way with my husband to do some fishing and spending time with old friends. Brooke’s place was exactly as the pictures. We found it quiet, close to everything and had a beautiful view of the lake. While my husband fished, I was able to spend some quality time with myself and watch movies and drink some wine. The bed was extremely comfortable. The apartment was modestly furnished and clean. I felt very comfortable staying here. Looking forward to returning again.

We needed a place to stay befor moving abroad. The house was fully equipped for a longer stay. Kristen made sure everything was available from dish detergent to lots of towels and extra bedding. The neighborhood was quiet and it had a nice playground. Plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable. Kristen was always reachable. Everything was very clean.

I will 100% stay here again. Thank you Roxy for hosting us.

This little place was perfect for what we were after. We wanted to be right on the water and have the ability to have a slip for our JetSki.

Amy is a Wonderful host; responsive, kind and courteous. Lots of Sunshine and Fresh air here! Plenty of room outside on the rooftop sun deck. Love it, I’ll be back next week. ☀️ 🏝️

We had an amazing 3 days at Sally's place! The house was clean and comfortable and we especially loved the use of kayaks right off the dock. We saw manatees right off the dock two of the days that we were there! We kayaked upstream toward the state park and downstream toward Rogers park every day. Sally recommended bug spray and that is for sure important! We cooked out one night on the charcoal grill, but there are also great restaurants nearby. It's a quick trip to the main road with all the stores you'll need. Sally was very communicative and responded right away to any questions that I had. We would stay here again!

Cheryl was very nice, responsive, and her thorough instructions were very helpful. Most important to me, the house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utencils, and the bedding was very nice. We all had a lovely time fishing on the dock, kayking, and boating down the river. We explored Homosassa Springs, Rainbow Springs and several other Florida attractions. The whole family had a lot of fun!

The hosts were very quick and helpful. The house was beautiful, and the view was just perfect! My grandmother and mom stayed here from out of state. It was the perfect place to be able to spend family time. My grandmother said the bed was very comfortable and they felt right at home. Thank you again for such a great weekend!

Me and my friends stay here for a few nights and it was absolutely amazing. the view from the backyard alone was terrific. an amazing location free from light polution and loud noises it was nice for us to get away from the city. the place itself was exactly as pictured. Everything was great and I'll think of this place again next time I'm in Ocala.

AMAZING. Great hosts, great place! I stayed here by myself and it was heaven on earth. I am a nature lover and this exceeded my expectations. The house & the property are stunning. The house is a lovely mix of tasteful tropical & Victorian decor. The outside is like being in the garden of Eden. So private & peaceful. I was able to meet manatees my first evening taking the kayak out; they were as interested in me as I was in them and came all around me and the baby came up to say hi. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. It was just me and the manatees not another human in sight. The next morning I paddled out again and saw otters playing. I saw turtles, lizards, many beautiful birds, including green heron, great blue heron, and an owl. Coffee in the morning on the patio & a fire at night under the canopy of trees. Close to so much to do- springs, beach, nature parks, but by far the best was being able to paddle pretty much out the back door. I’m so glad I stayed here!!!

This was perfect for my best friends and I to have an awesome weekend reunion. I moved out of the area over a year ago and it was a perfect spot to spend time with those I love and miss the most. We had gone to the dam (recreation area less than a mile away) when we were kids and it was really neat to visit it again more than 20 years later. The beautiful view from the backyard was incredible and the sunsets looked more like paintings than pictures. Our gracious hosts were accommodating for my dogs, which was a necessity. The grill was in great shape, the beds were comfortable, and there’s a big tub in the master bathroom that the youngest child was ecstatic for. The tv met everyone’s needs and the WiFi was decent. If it’s available for our next reunion, then it will become a tradition. Thank you for lending us your home for this unforgettable weekend of gingerbread houses, fishing, Christmas movies, good music, and cooking great food with friends and family!

We had a relaxing month at William's home. It is comfortable and cozy with everything we needed. We loved the lakeside view and getting out in the canoe. Plenty of comfortable seating for inside the house and on the outside patio. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is big and in a quiet neighborhood. Met friendly neighbors. Saw a lot of wildlife-birds, some gators, fish. Sunsets over the lake were beautiful. Had fun discovering shopping in nearby Dunnellon. William was a great host-easy to reach and always kind and helpful. We plan to reserve again!

Enjoyed the stay, the wildlife, and seeing the sandhill cranes every morning and evening was a plus.
