We absolutely loved every minute at Tom and Gretchen's exceptional place. The setting on the ocean was beautiful, with a refreshing pool and comfortable lounge chairs, oceanside bar (complete with rooftop seating for sunset views), and a very romantic atmosphere for dinner. They are the most delightful, interesting people and strive to anticipate anything you could possibly want. They helped us arrange transportation to the airport, a lovely day trip to the hotsprings with a fun stop at Nino to try the guifiti, and even do laundry. Gretchen's gourmet cooking (and cocktails!) are every bit as scrumptious as the reviews suggest, and she ensures that guests' taste preferences are accounted for. Her meals are worthy of Michelin stars! Our room was very tastefully decorated, with a large comfortable bed and modern, well functioning private bath. The AC was a huge plus when it was time to pack, and the ceiling fan cooled the room off nicely. Gretchen even provided some great movies for us to watch on the system in our room. Overall, we just can't recommend this tropical oasis enough. It is exceptional value for the money. Guests are guaranteed to enjoy their stay, and our only wish was that we had planned more time here! We'll be back!

First of all, Milady is a kindful, lovely and so nice person. She showed us the island by caddy and took us twice to the center. She told us so many interesting stories (and gave us information for our stay on the island) and showed us her nice art gallery. She gave us moskito spray and candles for free, additionally a whole gallone of water.. Even she washed our clothes (for free!). There were towels and shampoo in the room. The place is not in the centre, but the rooms are into kind a jungle, no wifi. The only “negative” point was, that we had to pay an additional fee - Milady called it tax from the government - of about 15% of the whole price. We understand, but its a bit confusing, because we also booked because of the described price. So calculate that in your budget. We highly recommend this place!

Un hermoso y tranquilo lugar en Tegucigalpa, muy cerca del Mall Multiplaza, y muy bien conectado con el resto de la ciudad. El alojamiento cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar una temporada prolongada, y está siempre impecable. ¡Muy recomendado!

Jerri’s guest house was very clean and in a great spot right across the path from Reef House. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was very nice. The property is a very short walk to a beach with amazing coral reef a short swim from the pier. George was incredibly helpful and also gave us a tour of the mangrove tunnels, which are a quick boat ride from the home. Great place to stay in Roatan!

El lugar está muy bonito, es pequeño pero acogedor y está bien equipado. Me gustaron las ventanas amplias que permiten tener una buena vista del pueblo. Me pareció perfecto para salir de la ciudad un fin de semana.

El hospedaje era muy bonito, acogedor con todas comodidades. El anfitrión pensó en todo para pasar una excelente estadía. Amé cada detalle del lugar, es tranquilo tiene parqueo privado muy seguro.

Casa Larimar was a Dream!! Laura was extremely helpful and friendly. She received us with complementary wine and beers! Also equipped bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, kitchen with everything needed for cooking including yummy Honduran coffee. The house was extremely clean. We were there with our baby and she also got us a comfy baby bed for her. Overall an amazing experience, the area was safe, the house beautiful and Laura made sure everything was as comfortable as possible for us, we will definitely be coming back!

This place is honestly such a gem, and Tibyasa is an excellent host. Since I first made the reservation, he sent a detailed guide with everything I should know, including activities and tips for getting around. Plus the instructions for getting to the property were very clear as well, and he and Oscar were very responsive and went out of their way to help us any time we needed anything. The property itself was so peaceful. It's so quiet and relaxing, the beach is very close by car and with very few people, and you get an amazing view of the stars from here. I was honestly sad to leave because I fell in love with the quiet, natural setting here. There's no a/c (as written in the description) so I was initially a bit hesitant to book here because I thought it would be too hot, but the weather is honestly quite pleasant and it never gets uncomfortably hot in my opinion (and at night it's quite cool). If you don't normally air condition your home, you'll be perfectly happy here.

Nice, relaxing spot in Sandy Bay with beautiful outdoor space and access to other worldly snorkeling! Note this isn't the most pedestrian friendly area of the island, but if you rent a car or are okay with picking up taxis on the main road (which are cheap and what we did) you should do fine. We met about everyone in the neighborhood, lots of friendly snowbirds from Europe and North America. The poolside is excellent and it's great to dip and cool off throughout the day. There's plenty of windows on all sides and a ceiling fan, and we had no reason to use A/C while we were there. The snorkeling is fantastic - we saw eagle rays, green moray eels, parrotfish, lionfish, huge groupers, and just so much variety. We would come back!

We loved our adorable little casita! It had almost everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with any tools we needed. Everything was clean and comfortable. The grounds were perfect and we could easily walk to the beach and so many restaurants. It was a quiet spot. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Thanks Dolly! We would definitely love to come back with our family or a group of friends.
