My brother and I spent 9 nights in Bruce's cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else WHEN we come back to Kauai. The home felt very private, even though on the farm property. I've seen other reviews mentioning ants, but they were a very minor issue, just keep the kitchen clean and you won't see them! We loved the geckos, they are so harmless and will even pose for up close pictures! You'll get used to the roosters, they are everywhere on the island, just bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. Bed's were cozy, King in the bedroom as well as the pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were great, a spacious indoor shower and a great outdoor shower as well. We took advantage of Bruce's rental car. Very well kept and clean SUV. Cheaper than a rental and Bruce provided pickup & dropoff services at the airport. Lastly, we played in 2 "farmball" games on the Fridays. So fun! All the players were so friendly and welcoming. Mahalo Bruce

This place is worth every penny! It was super nice and comfortable and a great place to stay. Shannon and Gabriel were both responsive to texts and were both very friendly. Whatever price they are charging is worth the money. Right next to some of the nicest beaches in the world and you can just walk from their place. They have tons of bikes and boogie boards and all the beach equipment you could dream of readily available for you to use. We felt so lucky to be able to stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

Overall great stay and Brandon was very nice and responsive. The access to the private athletic club was nice to get a workout in (gym, basketball, pickleball) / go in the pool. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful too. I thought the place would be a little bigger based on the pictures but not a big deal. Was central to poipu and great if you want to be in the south but I’d likely consider east and north area for my next visit as it’s closer to more things. Not a knock of the property but just FYI for new Kauai visitors. Appreciate the hospitality Brandon!

Makaha’s Hidden Gem by Kalo Homes is truly a slice of paradise tucked away in the serene and breathtaking Makaha Valley on Oahu’s stunning west side. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and we loved enjoying them on the spacious lanai while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and soft linens that ensured a restful night’s sleep. This house was amazing ! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with fresh mango from the yard ! Host was extremely sweet and responsive It was spacious cozy and felt like we were home ! Perfect location to anything you need or to go to any part of the island ! Had bikes , boards, snorkel gear , you name it this house has it ! Loved the decor and unique style of home . Not basic white , colorful and welcoming and quiet neighborhood ! Will absolutely come back to stay here and anyone visiting this is the perfect place !

Laura’s Princeville house was perfect for my family! She kept in touch easily if we had any questions. It was beautiful inside and out. And there were many different types of beach paraphernalia. A perfect vacation spot!

Very much enjoyed our 5-night stay at the end of January. Great location in Poipu w/ awesome view and walking distance to great beaches. Lots of storage space, tons of beach gear and well equipped kitchen. Greatly appreciated having washer/dryer (and detergent) as well as items in the kitchen like plastic wrap and foil. The arrival goodies were great! DEFINITELY get the A/C, don't think twice about it. Note, keep drapes and blinds closed during the day to help keep the space cool. Comfortable bed, good pillows. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Very responsive and communicative host. Thanks for a great stay!

As we opened the door to Coco B we were pleasantly surprised by the island music playing, a welcome note and fresh flowers. A perfect start to our trip to Kauai. We loved the outdoor garden and access to fruit trees, beach chairs, snorkeling gear and kayaks for secret falls. We felt right at home at would love to return someday. 🥰🌺🌴
