난바역까지 거리가 있지만 사쿠라가와역까지도보로 10분이내 가서 전철 타면 15분이내 갈수있고 교통이 불편하지만 그만큼 저렴한숙소라 가성비가 좋은것 같습니다 기본적으로 침실이 2개이고 거실이랑 주방도 깨끗해서 만족스럽게 놀다갑니다. 침실은 계단을 타야하는데 경사가 높아 아이들이나 어르신을 모시기에는 조금 힘들수있어요 그래도 기본적으로 편의시설도 잘갖춰져있고 해서 편하게 잘놀다 왔습니다.

Yukiko is such a wonderful host. My partner and I have had a great time in her beautiful townhome. It was peaceful and had everything that we needed. I highly recommend that someone who doesn’t want a typical hostel/hotel experience to come here!!!

Excellent séjour dans la maison de Hershey, très bien situé avec un supermarché vraiment à deux pas ce qui est très pratique. N'hésitez pas à vous relaxer dans la belle baignoire après une journée bien remplie à la decouverte de la ville.

Great Machiya stay with a traditional feel, but with modern amenities such as heated floor! Also perfect location to explore Kyoto. Tokuji san was always very responsive during communications. Overall, highly recommended!

Lovely one bedroom flat located on a quiet one-way street in a residential neighborhood, but within walking distance of some great restaurants (including one that serves great okonomiyaki for a reasonable price). ~5 minutes' walk from Tsurugaoka station (JR Hanwa Line) & ~10+ minutes' walk from Nishitanabe metro station. Very kind and helpful host. Squeaky clean and well-appointed flat with all the amenities that one would need, including a few large umbrellas and a washer (no dryer). Fast reliable WiFi. Effective combined heating and air con unit. Like many homes and hotels in Japan (I suspect), space is a premium, so the toilet and shower are not designed for sumo wrestlers. As is typical of Japanese homes and hotels, the toilet seat includes a bidet, but there is no wash basin in the toilet. Though it is on a side road, one can hear vehicles passing by occasionally during the day. Calligraphy school upstairs, so quiet at night. Highly recommended. Will consider staying again.

We loved our stay at Sachi’s house so much that we didn’t want to leave. It is even more beautiful than the Airbnb photos - we were so pleasantly surprised. It was lovely to sleep on the comfortable futon and to sit in the tatami room. The townhouse was well equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities and the bathroom was spacious. The whole house was spotlessly clean and the area so peaceful and pretty. Our children loved the goldfish! Thank you for having us, we would love to return again another time.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our host provided personal detailed instructions and was always available to help. The place was clean and well equiped. We loved the bikes and we're able to visit some of our tour spots with them. The traditional Japanese accommodation was an adventure for us and we liked being in a more local neighborhood setting versus downtown. Thanks to our hosts.

Katsura club is an experience of Kyoto and Japan on its own. Our host Koichi is very warm, welcoming, and kind, he speaks little English but that didn’t hinder his communication skills. He gave us a tour of the house and taught us the history behind Katsura Club and it’s very educational. He’s very thorough and detailed with teaching us how to use the amenities around the house. A little story: It’s our first time in Kyoto Station and we got lost trying to find the lockers we put our luggages in and so we left it there prior to checking in. Koichi noticed that we didn’t have anything with us and asked where our stuff was, and after telling him what had happened, he offered to drop us off at the station. This just shows how attentive, hospitable and accommodating of a host he is. He even wanted to wait until we got our stuff and drop us back at Katsura club but we politely declined. As much as I’d love to keep this gem all to myself, it truly deserves to be experienced by others.

Yuri is excellent host. She helps make our vacation very smooth. She helped with transportation to and from house which saved us a lot of hassle. Also, she was super helpful giving us advise on local logistics and how "the things works in Japan" :-) Sali's house is nice cozy home in excellent location. Very close to stores, restaurants and bust stops. Thank you!

I stayed at this place with a friend for two nights and was really impressed. The Machiya is well kept and in a good location. If I return to Kanazawa, I would be happy to stay here again.

Very beautiful and clean accomodation. We were a group of five and were able to just fit all of our luggages in. The inclusion of a second shower and second toilet was much appreciated. The Wi-Fi network was also very fast which we loved because some of us had to do work online while on holiday. Flexible check-in was greatly appreciated. I am glad we stayed here and would love to come back again.

We were very excited when we saw how new, clean and modern this place is. It looks like it has just been remodeled. For Japan, it was also quite spacious. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and very nice. This location is in a quieter neighborhood, but still close to Kyoto station (10 min walk). There were restaurants around, but not as many as there are on the other side of the train station, where there is a lot more tourist traffic and noise. That said, one of our favorite dinners of the whole trip was right around the corner from this place. Would be nice to have blackout shades in bedroom number 2, otherwise this place was perfect for us (family of 4) and served as a delightful oasis for us to return to after a full day in Kyoto.

we had a great stay, we felt comfortable, we slept well. it was nice to stay in and experience japanese traditional living space. bed was comfortable, heater and heated floor rug kept us warm during the colder weather. space was nice and plenty for the 5 of us. locationwise was great since it was just 2-3 minutes walk to the train station and less than 10 minutes walk to Fushimi Inari shrine entrance. Sorrounding neighborhood was so peaceful. we loved it!

Beautiful house one station away from Kyoto station, the interior matches the description. The house has everything you might need amenities-wise. The futon beds are also very comfy. We enjoyed our stay.

I highly recommend Leo’s home. It’s located in an awesome neighborhood very close to Umeda. Despite its proximity to Osaka station the neighborhood is quiet and had a ton of cute shops and restaurants. The home was clean, spacious and perfect for our family of four. I highly recommend Leo’s home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this townhouse. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and hassle-free. The townhouse is near the centre of the city, making it incredibly easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and major attractions. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. One of our favourite features was the balcony—it offered a great spot to unwind after a day out and had a lovely atmosphere both during the day and in the evening. The shower and toilet facilities were also excellent—modern, clean, and very comfortable to use. Overall, the townhouse was exactly what we needed: well-located, well-equipped, and easy to settle into. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Fantastic accomodation in Osaka close to great shops, restaurants and train lines. We are 3 generations on holiday and the accommodation suited perfectly.

Our family of 6 had a great stay! We love that a high chair was available along with a few toys for our toddler. The location was very convenient, plenty of restaurants, markets, and convenience stores within a 5 minute walk. The ordinary beds were comfortable, but if you plan on sleeping in the tatami mat room, make sure you are used to sleeping on a very firm futon. The stairs were also more steep than the stairs we were used to, but it wasn't an issue even for the seniors in our group. Overall, the place was extremely clean and the host was very friendly and responsive. Glad we got to stay here!

This was our favorite place we stayed in Japan. It was larger than expected inside with a dining table and two spaces for tea. The sleeping area was also spacious and relaxing with shoji screens on all the windows. The neighborhood is very quiet and private with a nice stone path inside the gate. It's a 5 minute walk to Kyomizu-dera template, and 20 minutes to Gion. Walking back at night through the side streets is especially pleasant compared to staying in a hotel downtown.

I was impressed by the attention to detail and the beauty of the place. The pleasant scents throughout the house added a refined touch to the atmosphere. Bathing and relaxing in the tub while looking out at the zen rock garden was truly indescribable. Sleeping on the futon bed was incredibly comfortable. There were clear instructions for everything in the house, and tea, kitchen essentials, and utensils were all fully provided. The place was extremely clean, well-organized, and exceeded my expectations. There was underfloor heating in the tatami area and kitchen, as well as air conditioning and heating in every room. I really appreciated having a vending machine and a LUUP scooter right next to the house, which made getting around easy. The host was very helpful and provided all the assistance I asked for, and I’m truly grateful for that. I highly recommend staying at this machiya, and if I ever visit Kyoto again, I’ll definitely spend my nights here. It was a wonderful experience that

滞在中、不便なことはなく、快適に過ごせました。オーディオルーム、シアタールームもあり、楽しみにしておりましたが、外出時間が多く部屋でゆっくりする時間がなく、利用できなかったのが残念でした。寝るとき以外はほぼキッチンにおりましたが、中庭が見えたり、部屋を見渡せたりと時間を忘れるくらいにゆったり時間を過ごせました。どこの部屋もライティングにこだわりが感じられ、充実していて、自分の好みで調整でき、リラックスできたのもよかったです。

設備が整っており、広く快適に過ごせました。
