What an absolute gem this cabin is! Carl has created a unique and cozy cabin with absolutely every amenity, and then some! We spent so much time in front of the lovely fireplace, and it was such a peaceful place to relax and spend time together. And THE VIEW. It's absolutely stunning, and we loved watching the mountain appear and the sky and clouds change over the course of the day and into the evening. And so many birds, squirrels, and chipmunks to watch! Carl's cabin was the perfect place for a romantic getaway, and we felt like we were in a magical, faraway place, even though we had only come from Portland. We can't recommend this cabin highly enough, and we will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here while we were visiting for a wedding. It was the perfect getaway for those who want to explore the surrounding area but have a clean, private space to sleep. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed here for 3 nights in late March and would have been happy to stay longer! A peaceful location a few miles out of town amongst fruit orchards, the soothing sounds and view of the river from the deck, the beautiful quality throughout the studio all made for a memorable stay. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. We would like to return again in another season!

A great little spot! Loved the teahouse downstairs. The apartment was so clean, quiet, and comfortable. Really fun to meet Victor and hear about the history of the place.

We did our weekend getaway here and it was the best choice we could've made!!! Firstly the hosts are SO sweet and kind. The place was SO cozy and so homey. Fully equipped with all you need to cook and some extra little goodies. Huge tub!!! The bed and pillows was super comfy (this can cause you to sleep in). - the views are BEAUTIFUL!!! We will definitely try to come back one day!! Loved this place!!!

We had a great stay at Mike’s place. It was so clean & a great space for our family. We were glad to have the 2 bathrooms & the nice kitchen to make meals. We’d definitely recommend it!

Phenomenal house with great amenities! Comfortable furniture and gorge-ous view! Michelle was really wonderful and accommodating. We were there for a girls weekend and everyone absolutely loved the house and said we should go back again :)

What a fun place. It was a large and comfortable 3 bedroom. The kitchen was great,,, property was nice,, and we saw a Mom and her Bambi each day. Nice area to explore,,,, We wanted the hot tub, next time we won't be such big babies. See you again soon Patty, Mike and Shelley

Rachel's place was gorgeous - stunning views out over the gorge, big open spaces, lots of natural light. The kitchen had all the little amenities you wouldn't even think to ask for - she had tiny containers of every single spice, just enough to cook any meal. She reached out before we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed to get in, and checked in on our way out to make sure we didn't have any questions. She was a great host and her home was perfect in every way.

We really enjoyed our two nights here. The space is thoughtfully furnished and decorated in a unique way! I feel like there was great attention to detail throughout the space to make our stay comfortable. The view was amazing and took my breath away as soon as I walked in. The he hiking trails right outside the complex and wineries right up the hill were awesome!

Elizabeth was responsive and proactive in preparing for our visit. The directions were clear and she was accommodating when asked. Additionally, Elizabeth gave excellent recommendations in town and in nearby Hood River. The place was cozy and exactly as expected. We enjoyed walks down to the local coffee shop Randonnee Coffee Co and stared up at the stars at night. It was a lovely few days away for me and I would stay here again in the future!

Great location for getting around Welches and trips to the mountain. The apartment was toasty warm when we first entered. That was so welcome after a snowy day.

Perfect location for skiing at Meadows!

Stayed at Maria’s place for 3 nights with my husband and our two toddlers. The place was beautiful and had all the amenities that we need. Had books and toys for the kids. Kitchen was equipped for us to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Maria was very responsive and flexible. It was an easy drive to mount hood meadows and timberline lodge and ski bowl. It was the perfect place - we would totally book her place again.

We were elated to find Mike and Betsy's (reasonably priced!) piece of heaven for a weekend of solitude and appreciated their clear communications leading up to our arrival. Their recommendations for hiking, walking, pool, hot tub and restaurants were greatly appreciated, too – and the view from their condo's back porch is UH-mazing. The serenity of the location was just what we needed. 🙂 Anything and everything you need is in the kitchen, utility closet, bedrooms, bathrooms and living room – even nightlights in the bathrooms (thank goodness because I'd forgotten to pack ours) and we loved the coziness of the fireplace while we watched a movie. If you're looking for a quiet mountain getaway with ease of getting around and outstanding owners, this is your place!
