Great house! Plenty of space and you really can't beat the location. The serenity and privacy of Monaco Peninsula and a short drive to Nelson City, the beach, Rabbit Island. Plenty to do! If you're looking to get away from it all, and also have access to plenty of activities and day trips, this is your place.

We loved this artistically decorated home in a very quiet neighborhood just blocks from all the activity. It was very well appointed for a traveller and we could have easily stayed longer. The host was very helpful and responsive.

Our stay at Ina's was everything we could have hoped for. The property is easy to gain entry to, with clear instructions provided. Her beautiful home is welcoming and is thoughtfully set up to accommodate her guests. The home itself is spotlessly clean, private, peaceful and has some lovely views from the large windows. Set over multiple levels, each outlook is different, and it makes this home a delight to move through. With kitschy decorative items and artworks placed intentionally, there is a small surprise almost everywhere you look. The beds were made with soft, cosy bedding, with extra blankets for the colder nights. The bathroom contained plenty of soft towels, as well as soaps and shampoo for guests use. Ina went above and beyond for us by providing bread, milk, butter and spreads for our arrival which was greatly appreciated after our day of travel from Australia. Overall, we would highly recommend a stay with Ina, and found her responsive, flexible and welcoming.

We had an idyllic two weeks here, exploring on foot, by car, and rented e-bikes. Easy access to a great network of bike trails (the Great Taste Trail). An easy walk to 2 brewpubs and other restaurants and an excellent Thai massage location. Go east to Havelock for mussels or west to Abel Tasman NP for a Waka paddle or beach time. Back home we would relax in the private hot tub, enjoy the TV and cook in the well stocked kitchen. The accommodation was spotless, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed for a relaxing time. The host was always responsive and provided lots os suggestions for sights, shopping and restaurants.

Very comfortable and tidy home, hosts put the fire on before arriving which was great. Impressive views and large home.

Amazing place…have not had a better view. Definitely need a AWD to get up the hill, but host (Tamarin) made sure that she communicated that before confirming booking. Property has a cat, onyx, very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Huge property to wander around, see sheep, cattle and feed chickens.

Caroline’s home is spectacular for so many reasons! She has a beautiful home inside and out and the decor was top notch! Caroline was a very gracious and welcoming host … will definitley be back!!! Thank you Caroline we truly appreciate you!

Such a beautiful and peaceful way to experience the Nelson Tasman area. Amazing views and such a relaxing atmosphere.

We absolutely loved our few days at Lisa and Owen’s place- probably the best AirBnB we have ever stayed at. The views are incredible, and particularly amazing to watch the sunrise from bed in the morning. The house is very well equipped with everything we could have needed, and Lisa and Owen were super helpful and welcoming during our stay. We loved Mapua itself, which had great coffee shops, restaurants and bars looking over the water to Rabbit Island. Highly recommend a visit! Thank you Lisa and Owen!

We had a wonderful stay here. The flat is about 10 metres from the beach front and we saw some breathtaking sunsets and sunrises here. David’s place is really spacious and comfortable, has a fairly well equipped kitchen that we made hot meals in and has an excellent, hot shower. The bedrooms are at the back, away from the road and I had a peaceful night’s sleep. David, Heather and Jessie (the dog) are great hosts. It couldn’t have been a more convenient location for accessing the National Park, and there’s a great place to eat (Hooked on Marahau) nearby.

I would highly recommend staying with Joanne and David. Lovely people who greeted me when I arrived. Very modern well appointed apartment with plenty of room and a well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook a meal. I look forward to staying with them again.

Loved our stay here ! Right on the waterfront in an easy to get to location. Matt & Jocelyn had amazing communication throughout and their property manager Amanda who met me onsite at check in was so very helpful. The apartment was fill with so many thoughtful extras. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in a picturesque rural location. Our hosts, Carmel and Dan, have personalities to match their lovely home. They were so welcoming, kind and helpful. It was a nice treat to pick fruit from the garden and collect eggs from the chicken coup for our breakfast! It was truly a delightful stay to remember. Thanks so much Carmel and Dan.

An immaculate, modern, spacious and very comfortable apartment which has an expansive outlook and everything we needed for our weekend away. We were delighted to have the opportunity to meet our friendly and helpful hosts, Garth and Sandra, and had a couple of lovely chats with them. We wish we could have stayed longer and wouldn't hestate to recommend this lovely accommodation to other guests.

April's place was a home away from home, everything was well thought about, it was very roomy, very comfortable, had everything one could need and the outdoor space was lovely and relaxing. This was such a lovely find in Nelson. I was hoping to stay a little out of town (but still within walking distance) and this worked out perfectly. If walking do bear in mind it's on a hill! But taxis are cheap and reliable and I promise it's so worth it for the peace and views. Dawn and Hudson have created a lovely cosy space including a beautiful garden - I enjoyed it so much I actually extended my stay. Brilliant hosts - would definitely stay here again.
