This is our second time staying. The hospitality of the caretaking staff is unmatched and Karen (owner) is super responsive. We love Hopkins because it's small, safe, and far away from what feels touristy. Having a private beach is amazing, especially with kids. They love playing in the sand, trying to beat us at bocce ball (provided by the house), and walking next door to Mango's for an easy meal. For our family of four, this house has been a great find.

Nice place! Very quiet and beautiful location. Local restaurants are great. Plenty of kitchen essentials. Towels and linens were great. Had a small issue with one of the 3 AC mini splits but they had it fixed right away. Very responsive host.

This was an absolute amazing place to stay to end our short Belize getaway! We had the beach and dock to ourselves the first night and most of the following day as the nearby casita wasn't rented. Lucas (property manager) came by shortly after we arrived to answer our questions and to take care of a minor repair (a/c in the kitchen). While it wasn't able to be rectified during ur stay, the weather was nice enough to simply use the fan to keep the place at a comfortable temperature. Check-in was simple and the home is truly wonderful and very comfortable! Both Brad and Lucas were quick to communicate and answer our questions. Highly recommend staying at this home if you head to Placencia and don't want to be right in the hustle and bustle of town and want a little privacy for your group!

Bonnie is a wonderful host and very helpful with recommendations. The home is even more beautiful than the pictures. The space is well laid out and private. We would definitely stay there again!

Wow! This spot is more beautiful in person than the pictures do justice. My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Rita’s and Steve’s beach house. It had all of the amenities we needed. Will definitely be coming back again! 10/10

Kat was a fantastic host! Very friendly and helpful for anything we needed. We even went out for drinks a couple times with her and her husband. Placencia is very safe to walk around even at night. Kat included use of a golf cart to get around and access to the Placencia Beach Club. The location was great, very walkable to all the restaurants and shops along the famous Placencia Sidewalk as well as the Beach Club and grocery store. The guest house was really nice, well decorated and had everything we needed. We really felt at home there and Kat and her husband were very easy to talk to. We all got along famously. I would very highly recommend booking the guest house for a great experience in a great town, Placencia. A big thank you to Kat for all her hospitality! We have definitely met a new friend!

Very nice . Everything was in perfect order. All are needs were met. Top notch bedding and towels, Dishes and pans. Appliances are new and in good condition. Nice ocean view and beach. Beach could of been a little cleaner but not bad. Restaurant and bar just down the beach. We're more than satisfied. Don

We are very happy with our stay here. The Maya Beach area is great. We ate at Mangoes more than once and Maya Beach Bistro, both were amazing. There is a grocery store and beach in walking distance. Kayaking the lagoon and channels was super fun. The house is so roomy with so many places to relax. The temps were easy to tolerate with the fans and breeze in the watch tower. We ate at home a lot and used the kitchen and fridge. The local fruit is so yummy. It was just the two of us but it would be a comfortable place for more. We rented a golf cart to get around. Have fun!

We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. The house was spacious and in a beautiful location right on the beach. It was good to be met on arrival and we were given lots of useful local recommendations and contacts. We hope to come back some day!

Kimberley has gone above and beyond to make this place feel like home, it’s spotless, feels very private and cozy. This airbnb definitely oustanded my expectations. The shower was heavenly. The host gave us a lot of useful information and helped us out all through our stay whenever we needed. We will hold so good memories of our evenings watching the sea from our patio. The place was very calming. We recommend this to anyone who is looking for a peaceful time. A few restaurants are available at walking distance and a small grocery market as well. We recommend to rent a golf cart ahead of time for this area, it will allow you the freedom to expand your options to eat out and explore a bit of Placencia as well. But after exploring the city center, we were glad to come back to our quiet ocean front cabana. Kayaks are available for the guests, we didn’t get to use them but they are definitely a great addition to the place. The hosts were amazing and so kind! Our dearest memories of Belize!

This place was perfect for our week in Placencia. it is conveniently located just off "the Sidewalk" (which is at the heart of Placencia) but was quiet and relaxing. The views from the front porch were fabulous. We had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the hammock and swing. The kitchen is adequate and more than adequate for what we needed (lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance). The washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

Eine schöne Wohnung, mit sehr guter Ausstattung! Wir fanden besonders die Strandtücher und Stühle super! Unter der Woche super ruhig, am Wochenende muss man sich bewusst sein, dass einige laute Lokale in direkter Umgebung sind.

We had an incredible stay thanks to Candace, our amazing hostess! She’s full of energy, super helpful, and made us feel right at home. Candace knows the local scene inside out—she set me up with a fantastic fly fishing trip and arranged a snorkeling day at a private island for us. Her dinner recommendations were spot on too. Living just a couple houses away, she was always available and quick to respond, which we really appreciated. The place itself was large, spacious, and just 100m from the water. The beach was uncrowded and perfect for peaceful morning swims. Being centrally located off the pedestrian walk in downtown Placencia was a bonus—everything was so accessible. Candace truly took great care of us, and we’d love to come back!

Have stayed here twice in three years, only missing out because I didn't book soon enough! The house, pool, and porch are perfect for reading a book or sipping cocktails, and the rooftop offers views of the sunrise and sunset. The house is clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen is well-appointed.. perfect for those of us who like to cook! Definitely worth checking out!

My family absolutely loved our stay in Placencia at Phil and Megan's. The moment we arrived Phil met us and took us up and showed us their home. IT was truly beautiful, we loved the bathrooms! The air units were wonderful and the pool was a refreshing way to end a busy day. Lovely location, just minutes from the beautiful beach, tours, and restaurants. We have a wonderful time and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

As a super host myself of 3 properties I can assure you this place is WONDERFUL! The location is absolutely perfect. You can step into the water right from your property. The porch was ideal as was the laid back tiki bar next door for a fun beverage while lounging. The AC’s in each bedroom were a great addition. We were a family of 5 with plenty of space. The property manager, Karissa is on site and was ready to serve with all our needs. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. The grounds keeper AJ was so kind and helpful too. We honestly lacked for nothing. Some places we loved and recommend: Tate of Belize Garifuna cooking class Mammalicious is a couple minutes away and has fantastic and inexpensive food. More upscale was Dawns Galley - the shrimp curry was incredible! We loved walking to the pier at sunset De”tach has great breakfast We loved visiting the zoo on the way there and leaving we went to our next destination via Hummingbird Highway.

We were two couples who stayed in Michelle’s condo fairly last minute when our accommodations were cancelled. Check in was smooth with Jack”s assistance and condo was great. Perfect space for the 4 of us . Edwin and his family were lovely and always ready to take us on the boat ride across the canal for the short walk/bike ride to town. Edwin and Jack were both very responsive and always willing to help arrange cabs/excursions. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our time at Sieri del Mal! The 3 bedroom home was incredibly spacious, and the deck outside was gigantic. The beds were quite comfortable, and we loved waking up to the ocean. Ratka was a wonderful host who communicated very well. She and her staff were so helpful and thoughtful (bringing fresh beach towels to your unit most days) The on-site pool was awesome, and we appreciated how easy it was to run between the ocean and pool. The local tour companies pick you up for water excursions right at Sieri del Mar's dock. We heard exactly zero noise from the ongoing restaurant construction. Highly recommend!!

We spent 13 days at the villas at Cocoplum. We loved the location being in the middle of the peninsula. Having a golf cart gave us all the freedom we needed to do all we wanted. The pool and private dock were a huge plus. The staff at Cocoplum were very friendly and very helpful. Very easy location to experience the many excursions Belize has to offer. The villa has everything you need. We would highly recommend staying at Cocoplum villas.

We visited Placencia during Tropical Storm Sara (Nov 2024). As we have never been in a tropical storm (snow blizzards are what we are used to), it was a panic when traveling into one with our 2 children. All we ever want is for them to be safe. Tracy was kind to let us check in a couple hours earlier for peace of mind. Thankfully - the storm hit north of us and the weather improved through out our stay. We love the location - watching and listening to the waves facing the Caribbean, and then having the lagoon on the other side. My kids swam every day in the pool, even when it was pouring rain. Rosa, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit. The use of the kayaks was a great perk. We didn’t use the bikes.

couldn't not recommend this location, condo and it's staff more. they are very hard working and very responsive. The family that take care of the location is amazing and some of the most wonderful and kind people. Would recommend to anyone and will be back to see Placencia again. 5 Stars

Cocoplum Condos are great. We have stayed at over 20 condos in the past few years. The pool area is our all time favorite. It has beautiful trees for partial shade and is next to a lovely sand beach. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We had a car rental and Herbert sent directions to the condo and was waiting for us when we arrived. We spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings when we weren't in the pool or hot tub! This is a perfect condo for two couples or a family with children.

we honestly have nothing bad to say about the condo/ Airbnb. Kimberly was always very prompt to get back with answers to any of my questions as well as helpful with recommending excursions & restaurants. It was very clean and comfortable! Loved the fact that there were kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles for us to use! We loved the table on the patio! also the chairs & ottomans were very comfortable outside our bedroom for morning coffee, we'd loved sitting out there watching the sunrise. we did have rain several days and the porch/patio always stayed dry. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and look forward to a time that we can return!

We enjoyed our stay at casa amigos #5. Family of 5 traveling together stayed for 5 nights. We enjoyed having a full kitchen a bbq grill and especially the pool! The pool was so nice we enjoyed it from dusk to dawn! The boat that crosses the canal was fine and Edwin and wife were great and polite people. We would stay here again if and when we return.
