this place was an architectural dream! everywhere we turned was another gem to behold! we had a bit of an issue with the heating in the hot tub but management came by to help us out. only thing I wish they were more clear on in the listing is that the second bed is a foam pad that is kept under the dining room table. other than that, I'd totally come back to this one of a kind airbnbs!

Loved our stay at Lazy Palms. Right on the beach and conveniently located to many restaurants, grocery stores, and tour agencies. Very nicely furnished, including comfortable chairs on the deck.Nicolle was quick to respond and very helpful with a few questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. The house was spacious and in a beautiful location right on the beach. It was good to be met on arrival and we were given lots of useful local recommendations and contacts. We hope to come back some day!

Kimberley has gone above and beyond to make this place feel like home, it’s spotless, feels very private and cozy. This airbnb definitely oustanded my expectations. The shower was heavenly. The host gave us a lot of useful information and helped us out all through our stay whenever we needed. We will hold so good memories of our evenings watching the sea from our patio. The place was very calming. We recommend this to anyone who is looking for a peaceful time. A few restaurants are available at walking distance and a small grocery market as well. We recommend to rent a golf cart ahead of time for this area, it will allow you the freedom to expand your options to eat out and explore a bit of Placencia as well. But after exploring the city center, we were glad to come back to our quiet ocean front cabana. Kayaks are available for the guests, we didn’t get to use them but they are definitely a great addition to the place. The hosts were amazing and so kind! Our dearest memories of Belize!

This place was perfect for our week in Placencia. it is conveniently located just off "the Sidewalk" (which is at the heart of Placencia) but was quiet and relaxing. The views from the front porch were fabulous. We had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the hammock and swing. The kitchen is adequate and more than adequate for what we needed (lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance). The washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

It’s a very comfortable little place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away from the centre of town that it is still quiet at night.

Had great communication leading up to and during our visit. I had even lost our keys to the place somewhere while visiting downtown and they drove out to unlock the door for us quickly and were very understanding. Even though there were supposedly other guests, we didn’t really see anyone except Ian, one of the property caretakers. Ian was a lot of fun to talk with and was quick to offer any help needed or to climb up, grab some coconuts, and open them for my wife and I. The only thing I didn’t realize was that it doesn’t come with things like coffee. There was a coffee pot and a mini fridge though. It was probably mentioned somewhere, I just didn’t recall seeing it. Not a big deal as the store is 2 minutes away.

We had a very peaceful, relaxing stay at Jan's. The place was exactly as described, comfortable, clean and with a beautiful ocean breeze keeping the place cool. The neighbourhood is quite, although a little farther out of town than expected. The only time this was an issue was our first day when we needed groceries. Otherwise Jan provided 2 bikes which we used every second day. It's about a 7mile round trip to the centre of Hopkins (20 min) But, if you stop for a beer, the ride is well worth it. There are countless restaurants in the village and tons of tours available as well. Jans Beach was also beautiful and well maintained throughout our stay. The care taker even kept us in fresh coconuts for our entire stay. I would recommend jans for anyone that wants to get away from the crowd and enjoy a quite stay with unbeatable ocean views.

Look no further. This is the one. The size of the property was amazing and even though the property was at “full occupancy” we didn’t See a soul at the pool or beach all weekend. The duality of the peaceful river right there yet steps to the private beach could not be more amazing. This place was full of modern amenities, and the host could not have been better. This is my eighth time to Belize but this is the best place I’ve ever stayed. Don’t take a chance on a different spot. Come and see how Tracy can make your Belize trip amazing!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a great location and it was great to have immediate access to the beach. Having a deck with the option of sitting in the sun or shade is wonderful. The covered portion of the deck is large enough that even on a very rainy day there was space for 4 to lounge outside in comfort. The kitchen has everything you will need

This Placencia home exceeded all expectations. The staff's thoughtfulness showed from day one when they pre-stocked our house with food for Christmas Eve, knowing shops might be closed. Their attention to detail continued throughout our stay - from bringing fresh coconuts poolside to Mundo sharing his catch of an iguana after noting my interest. Morning paddle boarding sessions with Moira the dog became a cherished routine, and the other pups added joy to our days. The staff struck a perfect balance - always available and incredibly responsive, while allowing us the space to fully relax. They handled everything seamlessly in the background, letting us focus on enjoying this beautiful place This isn't just accommodation - it's a home away from home with staff who treat you like friends. Perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with genuine hospitality.

Loved staying at the Sun and Sea Beach House. It was in a perfect location for us. Close enough to town to be able to access many great restaurants but also very private. The porch was our favorite place to spend time anytime we were at the house. Mirko was always available to answer questions or take care of any of our needs. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

Beautiful spot! Lovely pool! Nice mini splits kept us cool at night. Master shower didn’t heat up but with just two of us the other bathroom was a ok. Deedee local contact was nice. Lynette is a great host. And space looks just like or better than the photos.

This was an absolute amazing place to stay to end our short Belize getaway! We had the beach and dock to ourselves the first night and most of the following day as the nearby casita wasn't rented. Lucas (property manager) came by shortly after we arrived to answer our questions and to take care of a minor repair (a/c in the kitchen). While it wasn't able to be rectified during ur stay, the weather was nice enough to simply use the fan to keep the place at a comfortable temperature. Check-in was simple and the home is truly wonderful and very comfortable! Both Brad and Lucas were quick to communicate and answer our questions. Highly recommend staying at this home if you head to Placencia and don't want to be right in the hustle and bustle of town and want a little privacy for your group!

I stayed in Trish and Joe's place for a short visit to Placencia and it was exactly what I was looking for - private and quiet location, easy check in/out, and a 5 min walk from my favorite restaurants. I enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio while watching boats and wildlife by the water!

We were two couples who stayed in Michelle’s condo fairly last minute when our accommodations were cancelled. Check in was smooth with Jack”s assistance and condo was great. Perfect space for the 4 of us . Edwin and his family were lovely and always ready to take us on the boat ride across the canal for the short walk/bike ride to town. Edwin and Jack were both very responsive and always willing to help arrange cabs/excursions. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our time at Sieri del Mal! The 3 bedroom home was incredibly spacious, and the deck outside was gigantic. The beds were quite comfortable, and we loved waking up to the ocean. Ratka was a wonderful host who communicated very well. She and her staff were so helpful and thoughtful (bringing fresh beach towels to your unit most days) The on-site pool was awesome, and we appreciated how easy it was to run between the ocean and pool. The local tour companies pick you up for water excursions right at Sieri del Mar's dock. We heard exactly zero noise from the ongoing restaurant construction. Highly recommend!!

We visited Placencia during Tropical Storm Sara (Nov 2024). As we have never been in a tropical storm (snow blizzards are what we are used to), it was a panic when traveling into one with our 2 children. All we ever want is for them to be safe. Tracy was kind to let us check in a couple hours earlier for peace of mind. Thankfully - the storm hit north of us and the weather improved through out our stay. We love the location - watching and listening to the waves facing the Caribbean, and then having the lagoon on the other side. My kids swam every day in the pool, even when it was pouring rain. Rosa, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit. The use of the kayaks was a great perk. We didn’t use the bikes.

Andrea was a great hostess. She was very attentive and helpful. It was very comfortable for two people, Super well appointed. The sunsets from the lanai were spectacular! Make sure you take advantage of Edward, the juice man, who delivers fresh local juices, and the fish vendor who comes by from time to time. There was great birding from the lanai! Having access a 10 minute walk away to a resort on the ocean side with the breeze, the palm trees, and a restaurant was fabulous. We were there during an unexpectedly wet “dry season“, which made the bugs problematic. The airport noise was a little more than we expected, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and there are no planes flying at night.

we honestly have nothing bad to say about the condo/ Airbnb. Kimberly was always very prompt to get back with answers to any of my questions as well as helpful with recommending excursions & restaurants. It was very clean and comfortable! Loved the fact that there were kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles for us to use! We loved the table on the patio! also the chairs & ottomans were very comfortable outside our bedroom for morning coffee, we'd loved sitting out there watching the sunrise. we did have rain several days and the porch/patio always stayed dry. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and look forward to a time that we can return!

We enjoyed our stay at casa amigos #5. Family of 5 traveling together stayed for 5 nights. We enjoyed having a full kitchen a bbq grill and especially the pool! The pool was so nice we enjoyed it from dusk to dawn! The boat that crosses the canal was fine and Edwin and wife were great and polite people. We would stay here again if and when we return.

L’endroit était parfait. Piscine, plage, quai, tout était super. Nous avons adoré Sherman, le chien le plus amical que nous avons rencontrés. Le seul bémol est comme dans de nombreux endroit dans le sud, que si vous laisser de la nourriture sur le comptoir de cuisine les fourmis viendront et dévoreront vos provisions. Merci pour tout.

Kimberly’s support, services, recommendations and responsiveness was exemplary. She helped us in so many ways and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the location was outstanding. The resort was peaceful, protected from the wind and was very private. Long walks on the beach, lounging at the palapa, paddling to the false Caye near by, shopping at the nearby village, swimming off the dock and just lounging on the beach were just a few our highlights here.
