I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

We had an amazing time at Jarle’s place. It’s equipped with everything to have the perfect holiday one could wish for NYE in Norway from a cosy living-room equipped with a beautiful fireplace and a great view over the mountains all the way to a Sauna which was great. The surrounding nature is just beautiful! Jarle is the perfect host for us and a great communicator. From tips to where we hike or ski to where we can fish or swim we got all the information we wanted plus a lot of help when we most needed! It was a pleasure to spend the holidays at Jarle’s place.

We had a lovely stay in the cabin during February. Very cosy, warm and had all we needed. The hot tub was a great addition. Great location for skiing and winter activities near the ski senter. Stian and all other hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Tussen takk :)

Vi koste oss i huset på Lyngøy og kommer gjerne tilbake. Overraskende fint inni huset, finere og koseligere enn på bildene. Nydelig utsikt og natur. Vi så ørn flere ganger og gikk en nydelig tur på øya. Koselig å fyre i peisen når det er kaldt ute. Gode faseliteter og masse sengetøy og håndkler tilgjengelig. Arne er en hyggelig og behjelpelig vert.

nous avons passé une semaine sur bergen et alentours, et deux jours dans ce logement, propre, bien agencé, classe, bien chauffé, fonctionnel. un peu loin de tout ! voiture obligatoire. jaccusi en supplément... un peu dommage, mais placé correctement sur la terrasse il est exceptionnel à utiliser.

Utrolig fin feriebolig. Ble bestilt kvelden før siden forrige Airbnb-vert aldri svarte, og allikevel gikk alt problemfritt. Knut Ove var veldig hyggelig og hadde fyrt i peisen til vi kom og viste oss rundt i huset. Alle gjestene er veldig fornøyd. Vi kommer tilbake neste gang vi er i området!

Kjetil hat uns super freundlich begrüßt. Das Haus war wunderschön und es wurden sogar Blümchen und lokaler Cider für uns hingelegt. Vielen Dank!

Oswad was very accomodating, very helpful and the house and views were fantastic. House was very cosy with wood burning fire and lots of wood. Already planning returen trip

Unser Aufenthalt bei Ingebjorg und Johannes war super. Das Haus war absolut sauber und ruhig gelegen. Ingebjorg und ihre Söhne waren immer hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

The cottage was very comfortable, clean and well supplied. The kitchen area is generous with room to prepare meals if you want. The hearth is possibly the most interesting with an antique bread oven, flatbread skillet and woodstove. It gave it an old feel that was a nice complement to the updated and well-maintained fixtures. And the hosts next door were very friendly and ready with recommendations. I would definitely stay there again.

incredibly beautiful house lovely location with immediate access to nature walks perfect last night in Norway Kim was very responsive to any questions we had and allowed us to check in earlier so we did not have to wait highly recommended and t such a reasonable price 🙂

Great location just outside Kinsarvik. Close to food and hiking. Hosts were helpful for planning our stay and great with communications!

We really enjoyed our stay and felt completely at ease. The hut is exactly as described, very lovingly furnished, cosy and in a great location. Peter was already very helpful in the run-up to our trip and gave us a very friendly welcome. We would love to come back.

Eine gemütliche Unterkunft direkt am See. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort, aber wer sich ein paar enspannte Tage machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Ein Supermarkt ist 10min entfernt.

Die Bilder von der Gastgeberin sind 1:1. Lediglich eine neue Couch stand drin und die Schränke sind ein wenig anders gestellt worden nachdem die Bilder gemacht wurden. Die Wohnung war sauber, Handtücher frisch gewaschen. Bettdecke und Kissen sauber, Bettwäsche war frisch. Die Matratzen an sich fanden wir ein wenig weich. Aber das ist Ansichtssache. Küche hat an Utensilien alles was man benötigt. Der Ausblick ist wirklich sehr schön. Wir hatten zwar viele Wolken und auch Regen. Tut dem Ausblick aber keinen Abbruch. Wandermöglichkeiten sind auch gegeben. Empfehlenswert die Insel dahinter. Die Gastgeberin hat einen Zettel dafür ausgelegt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 10-15 Minuten mit Auto entfernt. Die Gastgeberin wohnt darunter. Jedoch ist sie kaum zu merken. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und zum Abschalten super.

We had a fantastic stay! The location right at the fjord is breathtaking and couldn’t be better for a peaceful getaway. We had great success with fishing during our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The rental boat was in great condition and added a lot of fun to our trip. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to enjoy nature and some quality time by the water!

Wonderful location with fantastic view across the fjord. Very private and with a great, spacious garden. Few minutes walk to the water, went for a swim every morning. I was there with three families and the house was big enough to hold us. The communication with Ben was perfect, very friendly and proactive. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a very pleasant stay in the beautiful Sognfjord. The house had everything we needed for the whole family with two kids (7 yr and 10 month). Charming old cabin modernly equipped. The location is just amazing with great view into the Fjord, quiet but not to far from shops. We got very clear instructions about the house and useful sightseeing tips.
