Lovely home, well appointed, excellent kitchen with everything we needed for preparing meals. The location is a 5 minute drive from beautiful Rathtrevor Beach. The tub is very deep so anyone with mobility problems may find it challenging.

Beautiful location and lovely home. Lots of room and close to the pool and hot tub. The beach was a little further walk than we thought but overall a great place to stay! There was also a great taco place in the complex.

Our family had a great stay! Heidi was always extremely helpful and friendly. The house was private and very quiet, cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was very well stocked. You also can't beat the location - you're in a peaceful neighborhood but are a mere five minute walk to all the great restaurants and shops in town. Perfect place for us to be at the end of each ski day. Thanks Heidi.

We had a great stay at Alexandra’s place in Madeira Park. Alexandra is an attentive and thoughtful host: always quick to reply and address any questions. The home is cozy and welcoming, with beautiful surroundings and great amenities. While sauna and hot tub were undisputed highlights, there was plenty to enjoy inside the house—books, board games, puzzles, darts, table tennis, record player with a great little collection of records. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, step out on the deck, take a deep breath and take in the tranquil beauty of surrounding nature—a perfect way to unwind and get away from it all!

Everything with our stay was wonderful. It was so nice to be welcomed to our room with a couple of waters and pops in the fridge and snacks on the counter. That extra little gesture goes a long way as did the coffee station goodies for our mornings! The to-go cups were the bomb!! Will definitely be booking here again! Condo was clean, quiet, and comfy!

A lovely new condo. Very comfortable.. loved the new washer & drier in the unit. Great location… close to Parksville and Rathtrevor Provincial Park. Enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by the fire under cover outside of the lodge.

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Had a wonderful girls weekend at this cabin. A great set up and convenient location for our island adventure . We hope to reserve this place again in the future 😊

Wonderful cottage just on the edge of Rathtrevor. We had friends camping in the park and we didn’t want to camp with a toddler so this was the perfect solution. Pet friendly, private, quiet. Cottage had everything you’d need. Host was very responsive and helpful. Had high chair, pack and play, baby gate. Would stay again!
