We had a lovely stay. The cottage is great and plenty of room for everyone. The tablet in the kitchen is great for instructions-we would never have figured out the extractor fan without it! 😆

My children and I stayed here on a little trip to Whitby and Scarborough. We loved staying here. The facilities were outstanding, especially the hot tub. It is beautifully decorated and there were board games and books for the kids. We had a great time there and would highly recommend it.

I booked this for my wife's 40th. the host was outstanding with there responses and efforts to make my wife's birthday special. they organised balloons/banners and flowers for when we arrived, and seafood from the local fishmonger for our evening meal. The cottage was extremely well equipped, the best I have seen yet and the cleanliness was to a very high slandered. I would highly recommend and look forward to coming back in the future.

Jenny’s cottage is set in a beautiful location, has a lovely garden area with hot tub. Walking distance to Pickering which has great facilities and some great places to eat. Very clean tidy cottage, plenty of utensils/crockery. Welcome hamper and dog treats too. Some shower products also which was a nice touch. Access instructions clear. Lots of information in the cottage on the surrounding area and places to visit. Would def visit again and recommend for a quiet peaceful break away to rest & recharge.

The cottage was beautiful. It had everything you could possibly need. Very high quality furnishings throughout. Underfloor heating and log burner! Fantastic terrace and hottub area with enclosed garden and parking. lovws the salt hot tub. Really well stocked kitchen. lots of lovely extra touches sparkling wine gown slippers lovely smellies and bose speaker. Couldnt ask for anything else. Our host gemma was fantastic also. Great location for walking. very dog friendly with blankets and bowels supplied. Would stay again and would reccomend.

We had a absolutely fantastic time, it was just the tranquil, peaceful break my partner and I needed. The location of the property is beautiful and we were really fortunate with the weather. The property was clean, cozy and Wayne and Dave made us feel right at home. In the home everything was thought of which made checking in effortless. With a short drive you have access to local amenities. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely return in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Orchard Cottage. The village is beautiful and the surrounding scenery is just perfect. We were very fortunate to see a barn owl on our first day, it was a real treat. The hot tub was fantastic and the temperature was spot on and it was a great place to take in the local beauty. The cottage was clean and tidy and we received some lovely welcome treats which were appreciated. We requested the second bedroom had the bed made up us a double rather than twins and this was done for check in. We met Henry when we arrived and he was lovely and very helpful and informative. We would definitely stay again, as the setting is so peaceful and the cottage was lovely and clean. I have to say that I expected some noise being on a working farm, but you could hear a pin drop which was fantastic, particularly in the mornings.

We had a lovely time at L’aal Cottage. Great use of the space, everything of high standard and fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. Jan was friendly and made us very welcome. Great spot for exploring the Yorkshire coast and a great walk along the beach to Filey.

A lovely place to stay. This is the second time we have stayed at Tim’s place. Tim is so friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

We had a lovely stay and cottage is gorgeous, it is small but perfectly formed and I will stay again one day. It is quiet and peaceful and although yes technically it is in the garden of the owners, you would not know and still very private and secluded. Great location, you can walk in the countryside or find great pubs and restaurants close by plus shops if you need. I did not meet the hosts in person but they kept in touch with me through-out the stay to check if we needed anything. I 100% recommend this place, it is simply magical.

We absolutely loved our stay at 3 Coastguard Cottage. Great location, beautiful beach, cosy warm cottage with everything you need. Louise was a brilliant host. And make sure you try the Thai food truck outside the village store on Fridays & Saturdays. Incredible, so good we had take out both nights. We love this area and we'll definitely go back to stay here. *****

A quaint cottage in a pretty market town with great local amenities including a traditional bakery all within a 5-10 minute walk. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. A perfect location for visiting the East Riding area of Yorkshire. Enclosed garden for if you have children or pets with you. Host is always on hand for anything you might need. Would most definitely go back.

The Nest is exactly what it says on the tin: a cosy little stone cottage that has made the most of every nook and cranny! Considering its coziness, the cottage is well-equipped and has everything you’ll need during your stay. If staying in winter, you’ll need the log burner on the go, but upstairs will be toasty and comfortable. As a host, Annette is lovely and full of recommendations and is always responsive to a message, should you need her. There are some great walks on your doorstep and having the two pubs and a couple of local shops in the village is a bonus!

this place is very close to the centre of Whitby and has it's own small private courtyard. It was spotless with lovely welcome goodies and milk in the fridge. The whole place is very well equipped and ideal for a family. Zoe is great with communication and gave all the information we needed. Thank you for a great stay

We loved staying at Jackie and Izzy's cottage which was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The cottage is ideally located for exploring North Yorkshire with easy access to York. A lovely stay - thank you!

What a beautiful place to stay! Forge Cottage was exactly like the photos, cosy, comfortable and perfect for couples. Everything you needed was there in the cottage, and the location was perfectly located in the heart of Robin Hood's Bay. Also close to the bus stop where we caught the bus into Whitby for the day. Would 100% recommend Forge Cottage - we loved our stay!

A wonderful couple of days away in a beautiful part of the country. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing half term mini break, we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with a fantastic view of Robin Hood’s Bay. Steve was a great host and supplied us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from local recommendations to fire logs. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, thank you Steve!

Me and my mum had the most relaxing weekend at Emma’s cottage. It was so peaceful, watching the sunrise over the horses in the field, and eating breakfast in the garden with the sound of the stream and birds in the background. We followed Emma’s recommended local walks, before we got to exploring the local villages and further afield to Whitby. Emma was quick to respond on messages and let me know in advance about a small change. The cottage was well decorated, clean and had everything we needed and the local apple juice was a lovely surprise on our arrival. I would 100% recommend and I plan on returning.

The location is very peaceful and the Stables is part of a very impressive complex of farm buildings. The cottage facilities are very good particularly the shower. The kitchen however could benefit from an extractor fan. The local pub the New Inn is a real find and is the brewery tap to the village brewery. However you will need to be fit to walk it as it lies up a long steep hill. Overall a very good venue.

We chose Autumn Cottage for our annual Christmas and New Year stay near Filey visiting family. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. Best of all it was warm and cosy for a winter break. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Joe’s place for a long weekend. Location is brilliant, right in the middle of the seafront road. The living room and main bedroom look out across the sea. We couldn’t have picked a better weekend to go, pure blue sky and sun so waking up to the view every day was amazing. Our dog felt right at home. Access was easy and we had no issues at all. We will 100% be booking again next time we’re up in Filey.

We had a lovely stay at Claire’s cottage, her communication was amazing. The location was perfect for what we needed it for and set on lovely, quiet grounds. Thank you so much for our stay & the delicious cupcakes!

Katherine made us feel so welcome, and was at hand to help with any questions we had. The Hideaway was the perfect base for us to go and visit friends who lived nearby.

The place was lovely to stay in. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay there. The host was always responsive and kind. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to stay for work or leisure. I would definitely come back here again.
