Alloggiare nell’appartamento di João Carlos e Sol é stata una bellissima esperienza. Appartamento molto bello, parte di un complesso nuovo e molto pulito, con piscina, zona barbecue e patio con sdraio con vista sull’isola di Faial. Posizione strategica, host molto gentili e clima di totale relax. Consigliatissimo!

We loved the thoughtful food items left for us. The beds are firm and comfortable, and the heaters kept us warm at night. The couch was also cozy, perfect for hours of reading and enjoying the solitude. Be cautious with the entrance—it’s a narrow, steep, one-way street. Large cars might get scratched or not fit at all. A small car is ideal, but one with a weak engine may struggle. Once parked, the space is great. Finding the house was tricky, as the GPS didn’t recognize the address, but we discovered two routes to get there. There’s no dryer, so drying clothes on the rack can be challenging, especially in rainy seasons. Bring quick-dry and waterproof clothing. Carlos and Manuela provided a helpful restaurant guide, though many were closed during our visit. We explored local spots and loved the food—Aromas and Sabores in Lajes is a must! If you seek peace and seclusion, this cozy place is perfect. We never met another person during our stay.

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

Il soggiorno a Pico è stato stupendo. Gli host sono stati puntualissimi, disponibili e gentili. Ci hanno accolto all’orario da noi indicato e ci hanno fatto trovare la nostra casetta super pulita e accogliente! Le aree comuni sono altrettanto pulite e ben tenute, piscina e vista top! Vitamin Sea Azores was just perfect! It was beautiful, well kept, fully stocked with brand new appliances, and exceptionally clean. We rented out both top and bottom apartments, for the five of us, with lots of rooms and space to spare. The pool is well maintained with gorgeous views overlooking the countryside and ocean. Bed sheets were first class! Our host Britanny was also first class as she had everything we needed to make us feel right at home, and checked up on us to see if we needed anything else. Location was also great because it was just a short car ride to downtown Horta with so many great restaurants as well as other beautiful places in island of Faial. We also took the ferry over to the island of Pico, for a day tour, which was very convenient. We will definitely go back and return to such a natural and relaxing place.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in traumhaft ruhiger Lage, direkt an den Weinfeldern. Alles war in einem hervorragenden Zustand und bei gutem Wetter kann man perfekt draußen frühstücken. Wir wurden mit einem tollen Präsentkorb empfangen und der Vermieter war jederzeit für Empfehlungen oder Fragen ansprechbar. Der Pool war ebenfalls sehr gepflegt, es gibt auch eine Outdoorküche mit Grill und Sitzgelegenheiten. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Le logement que nous a proposé Catia et Miguel correspondait à nos attentes, et les photos aussi. Nous avons été accueillis par Miguel qui est une bonne personne, il est amical et nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. La location est entouré par des animaux c'est en fait une ferme rénovée et il y avait tout ce qu'on peut espérer avoir dans une location. Vraiment le top. Si nous devrions revenir sur cette île magnifique c'est chez Catia et Miguel que nous reviendrons. Merci à vous Miguel de votre gentillesse et votre accueil. Myriam et Claude

Fantastic accommodation. Very clean, had a well equipped kitchen (picnic supplies), and the pool was very refreshing. Joao and Sol were excellent hosts and provided a welcome basket with local treats on our arrival. Would highly recommend.

Una casa encantadora, con muchos detalles, muy cuidada. Nos hemos sentido como en casa. Joao y Sol han sido muy atentos, amables y nos han ayudado con recomendaciones. El sitio es precioso, muy bien cuidado. Las vistas al monte Pico, la puesta de sol y los viñedos, hacen que el sitio sea muy especial. Sentimos mucho no haber podido pasar más días en la Isla para poder disfrutar de la casa. Sin duda, si volvemos a Pico, volveríamos a elegir este alojamiento

We really had a terrific time at Goncalo's house! The house, its rooms and the communal area are beautiful and Gonçalo is a super nice host. We were only able to stay one night as we had our plane to catch (he offers a very practical airport shuttle!) but we could easily have stayed longer. Thanks Gonçalo and Noémia for your hospitality and all the best for the future!
