It was a wonderful place to visit. The house felt very welcoming, and everything you could think of that you'd need was available to you. 10/10 would recommend this to others. We also plan to rebook here to explore more of what the UP has to offer! The host was so kind and responsive! Can't say enough good things about our stay.

The house was exactly as pictured. One of the few stays where I was able to cook breakfasts and dinners and had everything I needed. The main family room with the fireplace was cozy and relaxing. We typically chose the places we stay for the sauna and this one was one of the best. It heated up quickly and steamed well. The lake view was amazing with peak color and close to fun outdoorsy things we love when in the UP.

The location of this place could not be better. Own private beautiful beach. Hardly saw other people the whole time we were there! If you want a place to get away from it all, this place is it. Lake Superior is a magical place and at Anna’s place you have it all to yourself. We spent the entire time at the lake and it was amazing.

Our stay was a top-notch experience! Here is a list of the features we loved! 1) Extremely easy check-in/ check-out with simple to instructions 2) Large spacious bedrooms (3 large king rooms and 1 room with twin bed and private bath) 3) Beautiful hardwood floors (both smooth and clean - great to stretch out on after a hard day of riding) 4) The bathrooms were plentiful (3 half baths and 1 master bath - no one needed to wait for a restroom!) 5) Dining area had plenty of seating to eat, converse, and play cards! 6) The living room was furnished with comfortable furniture that was arranged in a fashion that encouraged socializing with your group in a relaxing environment (dinner, movie, playing cards, etc). Top Notch - Best in Class accommodations for those wanting to stay in the Calumet Area!!!!

We loved staying at Kyle’s place! The host was responsive and provided clear instructions and suggestions. The house was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of comfortable seating - loved the porch and outdoor space. The mattress was super comfortable, which is important to my old bones after a day of hiking/exploring! We were only two people, but you could easily accommodate a large family or group and have plenty of room! We loved the remote waterfront location, it was so quiet and peaceful. We explored the Baraga County area (recommend the Lake and County tour), easily made day trips east to the Michigamme area and west to the Keweenaw and to Houghton for a MTU football game. We even got to see the Northern Lights right from the yard! It was a great time and we are already talking about coming back!

A very well done place with evidence of tremendous effort to do things correctly. Taylor was fantastic to work with and incredibly responsive. This will be our go to spot each winter when we make the trip. It’s every bit as nice as the listing suggests. Thank you!

We booked our annual snowmobile trip to a new area this year and were extremely happy with our choice! Great home with plenty of space for all to enjoy! There is nothing like a warm cozy place after a day on the sled!! Easy to find, even in a blizzard! Great communication and prompt responses to all our inquiries! The big driveway and garage offer plenty of room for trucks, trailers and sleds! We had a great time!!

Great for snowmobilers, about 1-2 blocks from direct access to trail 14 - no need to trailer. Room to park trailer and sleds. Close to fuel stop. Restaurants within walking distance, or off trail. Nice cozy and clean place, more room than typical hotel room with kitchen amenities.

Great place right downtown Houghton! The house was super clean and directions to find it were very thorough. Would definitely stay here again!

This is the second time we stayed at Nü Boheim and it was wonderful! Parking was easy, Rebecca was very flexible and responsive to questions, and the place was very cozy and comfortable! She even left homemade goodies for us to enjoy during our stay. We can't wait to come back!

Frederick’s place was very clean and looked just like the photos. It was stocked with amenities like coffee, creamer, dipping sauces, etc.. we were here for a snowmobile trip and it was very convenient with it being right on the trail system and right next to a gas station for filling sleds up at the end of the day. The only downside was the secondary bedroom is right next to the main road, and so it could get kind of noisy early in the morning, but it wasn’t too bad. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would stay here again!

I am grateful to have stayed in such an amazing place, with my dog, Jax! The host was very responsive and instructions were clear and to the point. It is a very relaxing and quiet area as well, and my dog enjoyed drinking from Lake Superior with ease. My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay over the past weekend. We wanted to stay in the L’Anise area, since we have a friend that lives in the town, and this was the best option. The unit is clean, has an amazing view of Lake Superior and is very spacious. I was very impressed with the unit overall. I would gladly book again!
