This lake house was the perfect mid-winter getaway. It was the perfect amount of space and so many things to do like enjoying the beautiful view, spending the day in the pool, and playing games. We definitely look forward to visiting again!

Cynthia's home was clean and inviting. She was a wonderful host and very responsive and kind. I would definitely choose to come here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Julia’s place. There is a nice fenced in backyard with a patio that our dog appreciated, and everything was pet friendly, with a crate available, dog bowls, etc. The house was clean, organized, and very comfortable. Would stay here again!

We have stayed here before. It was great just like last time. We had one issue but Rachel was super responsive and it was quickly resolved.

Our group has a great time and enjoyed the cottage and property. The host was responsive to questions. The property was as described and a comfortable place to stay.

The Big Drake is in on quiet lane right on the lake shore, the place is large while still feeling homey. The kitchen is well l equipped with modern appliances. The heating and AC are controlled by different Nest thermostats, and we were able to keep it at a good temperature. The three main bedrooms are very comfortable--two share an adjoining bathroom, and for one it is around the corner. The kids rooms with bunk beds were great as well. The rooms above the garage were a bit more rustic, but clean and comfortable. The furniture in the living room is very cozy leather and the other furniture is nice, often custom wood like in a fancy lodge. The check-in and check-out were super easy, with clear instructions and communications. The place is 10 minutes from a large grocery store (Meijer) and 20–30 minutes from Traverse city, which is a neat town to explore with excellent food. Overall, we highly recommend and hope we can come back!

Great place! wasn't there for very long, but the weekend was comfortable and fun. Amazing stay for a winter get-away. Will definitely be back!

Lovely little apartment - we really appreciated the way the space is set up, a very efficient use of small space, making it feel big and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed and we slept very well in the quiet cozy bedroom. Thank you, Fawn!!

House was exactly as described. Easy check in, check out process. Would recommend Lori's place to anyone coming into town, and needing a very clean place to stay.

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

We were in town for a small get together and Lindsay’s place was the perfect home base for us. She had a great guide for midland with recommendations of restaurants, activities, etc. we’d love to stay again!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Super cute apartment unit! They had all the amenities, clear instructions, it was super clean and easy to check in and out of! Very nice! The host was super helpful with instructions and information before check in too!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

The home was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We only stay one night and wished our stay was longer. Definitely if we get the chance would stay at this Airbnb again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate our Valentine’s Day. We really enjoyed our time and the place felt very homie. We will be coming back in the warmer months to enjoy the surroundings even more! If you’re looking to get away from the city, this place is perfect for it!

The Trapper Cabin was cozy and perfect for what my Wife and I needed for our ski trip! We used it as a base camp and it was exactly as described. The outside temps dropped below 10 degrees at times but the heat in the cabin was very efficient and kept it toasty. The bath house was super clean and better than expected. The only thing was the bed was a bit firm.

The place was cozy and matched the description. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the bottle of wine, games, and fireplace. The view of the lake was nice. However, the room was quite small, making it a bit tricky to access the bathroom. It did get quite warm, and we didn’t realize until the last night that it was due to the heating device downstairs. The hot tub had quite a bit of hair, which wasn’t ideal, but it didn’t ruin our experience overall.

Marcus’s cabin was very clean, smelled good, very modest, but we had everything we needed and it was priced right. It was exactly what we needed for an enjoyable snowmobile trip. Thanks Markus

It was perfect for my needs but I was surprised at the cleaning deposit and then asking me to take care of dishes, towels, etc. That was my first Airbnb that took a cleaning fee and I unfortunately didn’t catch it until later. The front porch light was burned out and twice I had to catch myself from falling off. Also the road in was a mud pit — that was out of their control but a heads up perhaps?

The cabin was pristine and exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place to get away from the city. It was great for snowshoeing and our dog loved running in the deep snow. The cabin was very clean loved the pellet stove and dancing to the records.

We love this cabin! It is located close to our nearby hunting spots. There is plenty of nature in the area and the Ausable River as well. The cabin is always neat and clean when we arrive. The cabin is well equipped. Always looking forward to a return trip when we can.
