I am really tempted at times when I rent a great place with superb hosts to not write a review recognizing that I may be kissing availability of the property goodby. Anyway, if you are single or a couple the space works. I would describe the space as cozy and comfortable and the location superb. The apartment is located in the back section of the garage. Because it is small the owners have made every inch count. The bathroom is strategically placed as a pass through between the living room and the bedroom and there is a combination clothes washer/dryer tucked in the unit too. It offers a full kitchen stuffed with food preparation, serving and cleaning items and some snacks and a welcome bottle of wine! There's even a free stranding ice maker that makes the cutest ice cubes. The view from the house ground level deck is relaxing and the land tortoise's fun to watch. If you like dogs, meet Blue. The hosts, Jan and Barry are great - responsive, entertaining, interesting and fun !!

The photos do not do this place justice! Most adorable little cottage. We very much appreciated the access to the deck and pier areas. Beautiful views especially in the mornings!

Escape to the Bay is quite the understatement, from beginning to end our experience could not have been any better. Dena and I loved the place. Jane was the perfect host. Our hope was to escape the city for a few days for the Thanksgiving holiday. Escape we did. The view upon arrival was spectacular. The accommodations were as if we were in our own home. Everything was where that needed to be. We had a blast and never touched the water toys, they are there if you desire. We basked in the view and hommy comfort. We ate out a lot as that was part of the Escape. But the kitchen is ready to be cooked in. I would encourage that unless you really like seafood. I am a professional photographer and was up every morning with the breathtaking. sunrise. Jane, thank you for just being an incredible host. if you'll have us, we will certainly be back.

Really beautiful home. We are a young family with two dogs and it had everything we needed. Location is a bit off the beaten path, but that was okay for us. NASA isn’t too far away and there’s a nature preserve quite close as well as some excellent parks around Clear Water lake. Houston is a bit far but doable.

The house was better in person - more roomy. Very clean, well dusted, extra towels, toilet paper, bed sheets, blankets, pillows (1 to 3 of extra items). Smelled created, Wi-Fi information well displayed and clear directives for the overall stay (cleaning, neighborhood, laundry). My family and I were very comfortable. The two story home was ideal for those who want to turn in early as bedrooms are downstairs while upstairs can carry on. The pull out bed in the living (when in use) still allowed ample room for a full size blow up mattress without space feeling cramped due to adequate amount of furniture provided. The bathroom upstairs allows guests using the pull out bed to have their own bathroom (to some extent) with full shower to get ready - Well priced given the season and for not having access to the bay (bay is neighbor's back yard).

LALA! WAS THE BESTEST HOSTESS! my God she provided everything. we caught 16 crabs and such a peaceful weekend. We were a party of 12 and sleep comfortably here. she gave me an early check in and late Check out due to where was coming from. I will definitely be back for her southern hospitality! LALA I love u momma!

The room was clean, private and well stocked. The views are amazing. Carol was very nice and accommodating. The neighborhood is friendly and has great restaurants nearby. We will book again!

The place was great. We had a blast while we were there. Natalie was always quick to respond and ready to help however she could. We highly recommend the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Retro Diner! Paul, our host, was very responsive to any question we had. We would definitely recommend this sweet hideaway.

Beautiful house with 5 rooms and 4 bathrooms. Parking space for 4 cars: 2 inside and 2 outside. Spacious living and dining rooms accommodating four couples comfortably. Very satisfied and will definitely come again.

The house was beautiful, very big and spacious. We really enjoyed the house but we did find the cleanliness of the house good! We kept finding hair everywhere and dust. Also, I feel like it was false advertisement because we booked for spring break and we solely booked because of the pool and fishing which Molly didn’t tell us until after we book that the pool wouldn’t be available until May. There was a few muddy catfish in the lake we waited all day long and of the whole time waiting we caught maybe four catfish in 3 1/2 days but there are plenty snapping turtles in the lake. The grass was not cut. We did see a snake while fishing, so be extra careful, checking in was horrible. We had to go in through the back door because is was unlocked, we never got check in instructions from Molly. We didn’t receive a key because we had no code for the lockbox on the front door if we wanted to leave and come back, other than that the house is beautiful we love the bidet and shower head.

We had a lovely stay. Wish it was warmer to enjoy the amenities. Looks like a fun party house.

Having to be in the middle of Highlands, I was a little concerned about safety. This place feels safe with it being gated and there are cameras. The beds are so comfortable! It was so peaceful sitting on the porch with the view of the water and the sunsets!

Wonderful stay. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy all the amenities. Perfect for family reunions.

We had such a relaxing stay here, was a great place to slow down and connect with loved ones. There’s a beautiful view to watch the sunrise, ate amazing food at Merlion…had yummy waffles at Seabrook Waffle Co & found the most charming wine bar, Seabrook Cheese Co. you have to try all of these if you’re in the area. We didn’t get a chance to hike the trails bc of the winter storm but we’ll be back 🌟

Zhi’s property has an amazing view of the gulf and is totally what is shown in the photos. We had a great time. Thanks for hosting us.

The house was just as described. Three bedrooms with great beds. They also had an air mattress and foam mattress for use. Lots of extra linens. Two full baths, both with tubs. One was an "on-suite" which was nice for the parents. I LOVED the hand soap. It's the extra touches that make it better. The shared spaces were very airy & spacious. The kitchen was nice & big which made it easy for 2/3 people to be in there at the same time. The bar & stools were fun to use. They also had 2 tables so we could use one for eating and one for games/puzzles. The Livingroom had a big comfy couch with recliners, but only space for 5 people. We have 7 in our family so we had to snuggle or sit on the floor. The laundry room was a big plus because we drove down to Texas and knowing we could do laundry meant we didn't have to pack as much laundry. My whole family loved out stay. I didn't even get to the yard (gated) or private pier. House is in the shipping lane & we watched ships all day! Super Stay!

I stayed with friends and family for Labor Day in September and this oceanfront house was very nice.

Elizabeth’s description and photos matched the description accurately. The home was very clean and felt cozy for our family. The view at the rear of the property was amazing being able to look out into the water just from the backyard. Although we did not get to experience fishing off the pier, it seems like it would be great for anyone that has the opportunity to. Location was convenient being 10 mins from the freeway to reach our daily itinerary while the Airbnb was far enough to provide privacy from the public. Worth noting the property consists of two homes, where the front building is the actual Airbnb and the rear building is occupied by another party (could be the owner? but that didn’t bother us). Locating the driveway to the property at night can be challenging as it can get quite dark. Overall, great Airbnb and we enjoyed our stay.

Right from the start Kennith is very easy and friendly to work with. The description of his house is very accurate. It’s very clean and welcoming. It’s also a very safe location we never worry about anything. There’s a lot to do in the area however we enjoy the fishing pier and being around the house.
