Gorgeous area, cute little cabin, and set back from neighbors and the road. We brought our pup and he thought he died and went to heaven. Felt perfectly safe to have him off leash because the cabin is far from the road and the area is nicely secluded. The babbling brook is icing on the cake.

This cabin was ideal for our wish for a quiet, cozy mid-week getaway. It was homey, interesting, well stocked, and most of all...authentic. The creek is picturesque, and the cabin has amenities and areas to accommodate different activities and moods, inside and out. We could have stayed longer. Getting to hiking trails in the Delaware Water Gap was convenient by car. And the hosts are very responsive! We'd come again!

We enjoyed a great couples Valentine’s Day weekend with our spouses! The house is beautiful, looks exactly like the photos online. Spotless. Plenty of amenities & extras. The jacuzzi hot tub was an amazing addition that we didn’t know we needed! The communication with Sue was great. She anticipated our needs & was quick to respond if we had questions. Close to local shopping, ski resorts & activities. We had a fantastic time. Looking forward to our next stay at Sue’s.

My wife and I stayed for a weekend away from home and the cabin was absolutely perfect. Lori was very proactive with all communications and made sure we didn't have any questions. Clear communication was also evident all over the cabin with labels and instructions everywhere so everything was easy to find. While the cabin isn't big and is in an area where there are few other cabins within eyesight, there was plenty of seating and great privacy. A larger family could stay there and be super comfortable and we felt like we had the woods to ourselves. For our needs, a quick getaway for the weekend, the cabin was fantastic and made us feel like we were away longer than we actually were. It was warm, cozy, private and backed by a super attentive host who clearly put a ton of thought into making the cabin a relaxing and easy rental.

I loved staying in this home and hope to rent it again. It is just a few minutes from town and nestled in the woods. The place is beautifully decorated and has everything you need.

A friend and I took a few days away in Caitlin's beautiful cabin in the middle of winter and enjoyed exploring the beautiful wilderness and quaint small towns of the Poconos. The location was close to lots of great hiking and was quiet and secluded, but close enough to shops and restaurants. Thanks to Caitlin's extensive recommendations, we were able to pick some great places to eat and visit. We particularly loved Native for a delicious dinner! The cabin was easy to get to, even with snow on the ground and a 2-wheel drive car. When we weren't out and about, we enjoyed the amenities of the cabin, watching movies, relaxing in the hot tub, cooking our own meals, and playing games in front of the fire. The beds were comfy and cozy and we slept incredibly well. Caitlin was extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. I'll definitely be back to explore the area again in the summer and would stay here in a heartbeat if it's available - wonderful place!

This was truly one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at - it looked exactly like the photos and had so many amenities and perks to make the weekend extremely relaxing. The hosts were proactive and super responsive, and we felt very welcome.

We had such a wonderful stay! The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with pots, pans, and all the cooking equipment we needed—it made preparing meals so easy and enjoyable. The snowy weekend brought stunning scenery, and we loved just sitting by the windows, soaking in the beautiful views. The fireplace was a huge highlight! There was plenty of firewood and clear instructions to get it going, making for such cozy evenings. William was fantastic—super helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and stress-free. This stay was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend! 🌟

Book it! Jessica’s cabin is simply lovely. It is a perfect place to take your furry friends while you relax. The ambience is romantic, homely and cozy. She also offers everything you need to be comfortable; from kitchen appliances to books and bath tub accessories.

A small note for future guests: we found it useful to bring our own towels and blankets, as it added a bit of extra comfort for the colder nights. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience, and we’d recommend it for anyone looking for a low-key winter retreat.

My wife, two year old, two dogs, and myself stayed at this beautiful property for our anniversary. It was an easy choice for us as they were able to accommodate our two pups which was important to us. Something that also appealed to us was the playground, which was a few feet away from our cabin. This all made it so easy for us with a toddler and two dogs to vacation with ease. Our host were incredibly friendly and very open to helping us if we were to have any issues or concerns, which we did not because the stay was perfect. I would highly recommend to families or people with pets. Our toddler was very found of the lively and very sweet donkey. Thank you so much for hosting us. :)

We really enjoyed our time at Black Bear Cabin. The quaint little cabin was just what we needed for our little getaway. It was private and peaceful with lots to do in the area. We went hiking and explored the little lake side towns. We highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug for a few days. Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!

Our stay was wonderful. It was peaceful, serene, and exactly like the photos. The house was clean and the instructions were clear. They have a electronic fireplace which was my favorite place to sit nearby. Driving there was easier than anticipated and Google maps was able to guide us through the route once you input the accurate address. We also got to see deer grazing up close in the morning. The hosts have done a fantastic job providing nice facilities and adding a custom design theme to house that feels magical. This place exceeded our expectations in beauty.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. It was perfect for disconnecting from our routine and to get lost with the nature without mobile connectivity and WiFi. They had cable and a lot of options in DVD format which took us back in time since that’s how we all grew up. Definitely coming back. You have pretty much everything to just be at home and relax. Kitchen had a ton of amenities for you to cook. The nearest town/city (Middleburgh) has really good restaurants and mobile connectivity just in case if you need to use your phone. They have a landline phone that you could use. The place was well maintained. It’s just cozy with wonderful views and woods all around.
