House was just as it was described and was perfect for us. Check-in was no problem at all. The brief was amazing just like the description said. We had a few questions and Barry was quick to answer. We recently moved into the area and if friends and family visit and want their own place to stay this place is on the top of my recommendation list. Thanks Barry.

Absolutely perfect! Our host, Amanda, was so helpful, from weather conditions and snow impact to the area, to what pots are available to cook a Thanksgiving turkey in. We love the solitude and privacy, in the most beautiful place on this planet! A peaceful respite to a hectic city life, this house was comfy and cozy with stary skies and a running river close by. The perfect vacation get away...if you really want to get away from it all.

My wife and I had a great time staying here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. It was secluded away from other homes and was exactly what we were looking for. It was super cozy and had great Mountain View’s to wake up to every morning! We would definitely stay again.

We were very grateful to find this quirky home when another AirBNB cancelled on us at the last minute right before a bleak snow storm. We arrived to a lovely warm house and had fun playing some old LP records. We woke to a decent blanket of snow, which didn't seem to bother the three deer nibbling at the trees right outside the kitchen window. All in all very tranquil.

What an exceptional visit and what an exceptional location and space. We absolutely enjoyed it and would recommend this to anyone looking for serenity and a change of pace.

Husband I took a late honeymoon for our 3rd anniversary, this place is beautiful. Location is beautiful and the home is beautiful. My husband has recently been diagnosed with c word. And being able to come out to this home in this peaceful serenity of Gods beauty was amazing. It’s a memory that my husband and I will share together forever. Thank you .

Promptly responded. Checked in with us prior to arrival. They knew we would be coming in late and provided a hand-drawn map that looked a little intimidating but that map was spot on. We had no trouble finding the place. As for the stairs, there are 20 down and 22 up and they really are not bad. The place is clean, quiet, and had everything we needed.

Loved staying here! Quiet and exactly as advertised. Great communication from the host. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful, private location right on the baker creek trailhead, and very close to the base of Cuchara rec area. The condo is very well equipped - probably the best I have seen! The big bed is very comfortable. Beautiful views.

This condo was perfect for our short getaway. It was cozy, clean, and the location was excellent. Being at the base of the ski area, we had walking access to the local store and scenic walks. A definite keeper on our list for future stays in Cuchara/La Veta.

No wonder this place has 5 star reviews! Gorgeous views of the mountain and the woods from the two balconies and plenty of light coming in from numerous windows. Clear directions ro the condo and instructions made it easy to find in the dark and the self check in easy. Fully equipped kitchen, had everything we needed for our stay. The whole condo was very clean, the bedrooms had comfortable beds to sleep in and the bathroom equipped with more than adequate supplies. Very close proximity to Cuchara mountain park trails and Panadero ski Corp where we enjoyed some snow sliding. Also enjoyed Red river skiing in NM which is 2.5 hours away. Mark and Kristin were great hosts, very responsive and helpful. Mark went out of his way and resolved a minor issue fast which was out of his control anyway. Really great experience and we enjoyed our stay. We'll sure be back!
