This was an amazing find! The place was beautiful, clean, and exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet Thanksgiving - we made our whole Thanksgiving meal here! The views were incredible and the unit was set up to make the most of them. Simy, the host, was so responsive and friendly. We’d love to go back!

We loved being able to walk to the cafe next door. We had three meals there in two days! The parking was perfect being in the alley, and not on the street. A short walk to the front door to bring in our belongings. We appreciated the throw blankets for the couch to cozy up in the evening. We would stay here again given how convenient the location was to walk to food and walk to the beach and lighthouse.

Very impressed, extremely clean, all amenities had been thought of. Beds, so comfortable. Cut my finger and there were bandages. Towels were so nice. We were very impressed overall. Not one thing to complain about. If we owned an Air B&B we would only hope it was this nice. Truly a great place. Plan on staying again.

Quite a trek to get out here but being surrounded by beautiful trees and nature everywhere was great. Quiet area and dog friendly too. Our dog loved it. Great if you just need a place to stay and desire to see the touristy spots like Avenue of the Giants nearby.

Karin and her Airbnb were amazing! Karin greeted us and was so welcoming and kind. She left some local fruit, granola bars, and coffee for us. She even got a lime tart dessert made for my partners birthday! The Airbnb itself is so cute and cozy, the perfect spot for a couple or solo traveler. The location itself is also great! It was surrounded by beautiful trees and the town of Trinidad itself is very cute, close to the parks, and close to both Arcata and Eureka. I definitely recommend staying here, it was cute, clean, and Karin was so great!

We had our family vacation at the Beach house, and it could not have been more perfect. Very close to restaurants and other amenities. Very comfortable beds, everything you need to cook, and the most amazing views of the ocean. - Mary We had the best accommodations! We enjoyed this spot, a relaxing getaway for my family. Hot tub was a hit and beach walk was lovely. The beds were very cozy and comfortable too!

This was our second time staying in this house. It works out great for me, my husband, and our 3 kids. So much to walk to and many more things to do within a short drive. The house itself was clean, quiet, and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. I highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed our Christmas vacation. It was a home away from home. I was raised in the same neighborhood, so there was no need for recommendations. We will definitely be back in 2025. Thank you for your hospitality.

Staying at this home was great for our family of six. House was as described and comfortable. I was a little nervous with an older home that all six of us showering in the evening would result in cold showers but we never ran out of hot water!

Pilot Rock Cottage was a perfect destination and Steve was a wonderful host! The cottage was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable. Terrific view of Trinidad Bay from the front windows and porch! Walking distance to restaurants and hiking trails. Easy launching point to visit other attractions in the area. We would love to stay there again!

This was a great home away from home! Located in a safe neighborhood, private yet close to amenities. I loved the backyard, the nice TV, modern heating system & comfy bed. Would definitely recommend! 🙂

10/10 would stay here again! It is a perfect secluded getaway. Just two of us stayed, but this place can easily accommodate a family or a group of friends. Explore the tide pools, grab a beer at the local brewery, or just sit on the porch and watch the waves, the deer walking by, or the hummingbirds flying about the lupine. No matter which bedroom you choose you will wake up to the ocean views. Elizabeth was also very helpful with any clarification needed throughout our trip. Do be aware of the steep road to get in and be careful with your brakes, but man is the trek SO very worth it ✨️

Loved our stay at Shelter Cove, the views were unbeatable and it was also a great night for stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and the jacuzzi in the living room that looked out into the ocean. Everything was incredible comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Cliff House’s Magnificent Room was ideal for a relaxing weekend. Walking to the Black Sand Beach was a pleasant surprise, and the breathtaking views were unforgettable. The fireplace was inviting, but the hot tub was the highlight—soaking under the stars after exploring the Lost Coast was unmatched. Despite concerns about winter storms, the weather was perfect. The well-equipped kitchen made preparing a Thanksgiving meal easy. A truly memorable experience—we can’t wait to return!

My stay at 55 EEl, Shelter Cove was truly wonderful. The property was as beautiful as described, and the host was incredibly thoughtful. As a book lover, I really appreciated the high-quality books provided – it was a lovely touch! Planned the stay for a proposal, happy to say, she said YES! We stopped at Simy’s for two nights during our honeymoon! The house and the beach were breathtaking and we enjoyed the quietness of the area in October. A few cute little restaurants and coffee shops but overall small town feel which we loved and we had everything we needed! Honestly, one of the absolute coolest places I have ever lodged at!
