This place is a working farm in the middle of a farming area. A great place if you want to get away from the city. The house is older and you will be living with antiques in a living room that is charming. Be aware that there is no kitchen and the closest restaurants are 15 minutes away; however, you can order in advance to get a delicious breakfast made by the owner for an extra charge.

Laura & Bill's apartment is perfect for anyone looking to ski at Hunter Mountain. Spacious and impeccable, this 2-bedroom apt had everything our family of three needed for a very comfortable ski week. Location could not be better: a short walk to the ski center; next to several restaurants in the area; very close to the bus stop at Valero Gas Station (we traveled with the bus from NYC). Most importantly, Laura & Bill are the best hosts, always responsive and accommodating. Not having skied in 20 years, I took a lesson with Laura that made me get back to the slopes with all the confidence. Going for a ski week without a car is not easy. This week turned out a great fun and a memorable week, and staying at Laura & Bill's was a big part of it. Many, many thanks for everything!

My friend and I both enjoyed a one night stay here. Leo was very helpful and communicative, the beds were comfortable, and the location was close enough to town while still being quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

The carriage house was a wonderfully cozy stay. Very clean and had everything we needed for our short weekend. Getting in was a breeze, Amy was easy to get in touch with and there was a binder with suggestions of things to do and restaurant recommendations. It's very close to the main Tinker St. area, but I would agree with another reviewer that you may not want to walk the road, especially at night, as there is no sidewalk and the road is curvy right around the house. A note that this is the bottom floor and there is another living space above it. Although we did hear the people upstairs a little bit, it was not a problem at all for us. We would definitely stay here again, no question!

I had a lovely stay at Sherrill and Clark's! I stayed for a month while working a job in the area, so I wasn't around much, but the space was a very cozy and homey place to come back to at the end of each day. Sherrill and Clark were very kind and welcoming. The bed was big and comfy! If you live in a city and need some time away New Paltz is adorable. Being from Chicago, it was a great change of pace.

Kyle is so kind and made our 14th Anniversary very special. Our room was quiet, cozy, aesthetically pleasing and convenient. The area is surrounded by natural beauty from the mountains and foliage. We enjoyed a star filled night and the sunrise over the mountains. The fire pit was also a nice touch. Anyone we came across was extremely friendly. We will be back next year. Thank you, Kyle!

This cozy place was perfect for our family when we needed a place to stay near Albany. It's conveniently located near the highway and a short drive into the city. This peaceful, private and comfortable location is everything you can ask for in a place to unwind. What made the stay more special was the friendly and responsive host. She was very accommodating and responded to any questions quickly. She also provided a delicious breakfast every morning which made our stay memorable. I hope we have a reason to stay here again in the future.

Linda was great! Super friendly and willing to help! the place was super cute and clean! Very nice space with plenty of room. Couch is comfy and reclines, good water pressure and good hot water. Bed was comfortable. Quiet surroundings. I would come back easily.

We stayed at Lori's place for a weekend. Great and peaceful location, it even has a little lake on the property! Very nice and quiet place surrounded by nature; a pleasant contrast to the NYC. Communication was great, and check-in/check out were a breeze. Everything was exactly as described. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Sarah and George’s Catskills place! My wife and I went up for a long weekend skiing and the location was perfect for visiting Windham and exploring the area. The Cozy Catskill escape is exactly as described and was a great place to come back to after a long day of skiing. Both Sarah and George were very communicative and kept their grounds plowed and clear when there was winter weather over the weekend. They also had great recommendations for local restaurants, coffee shops and places to visit. We highly recommend this Catskill Escape!

Everything at the apartment was homey and comfortable, even with a surprise (to me at least!) April snowstorm! Perfect place to use as home base for exploring and Gretchen’s recommendations through the guide were super helpful.

I stayed at Mara's beautiful home for a weekend getaway, and it was everything I hoped for. The views are absolutely stunning—waking up to them felt peaceful and grounding. Mara was super responsive and made the whole booking process smooth and stress-free. I had originally planned to come with two others, but one backed out last minute, which actually worked out well since the space might feel a bit tight with more than two people, especially with just one bathroom. Overall, I had a lovely, relaxing stay and would absolutely recommend Mara's place to anyone looking for a scenic escape!

We had a great time at Olesya's place! She was very informative and helpful with any questions we had. Everything was very clean and she even set up the futon for our three year old son. The space was just as advertised and there were no surprises. The bathroom is the real star of the show! My son looooved it and was obsessed with the shower which he has never taken before! Would have loved a kitchen but of course we knew ahead of time what was offered. You can hear others in the rest of the home, however it didn't bother us as we have a dog and a toddler so we were probably not the quietest ourselves! Would def stay here again.

We had a great trip and staying here made it even better. The accommodations were great and well worth the money. We would love to stay here again on our next trip.

A great apartment so close to hiking and cute Hudson Valley towns. The space is bright and nicely decorated -- felt like a home. We were able to cook meals in their kitchen which was well equipped and came with spices and olive oil. The laundry was a perk too! Collen and family were super kind and great communicators. The roads were a bit snowy and icy to the apartment and Collen texted to give a heads up -- so thoughtful!

We had a very good and comfortable stay. Maragaret was extremely responsive and helpful for all our needs. The home is situated at a extremely quite and pristine location. One can actually enjoy the fall season outside the home itself. The location is also very close to most attractions and hikes in that area. We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting Catskill.

It was a very calming and pleasant experience. Apartment has everything you need: tucked away from the road and super close to a great restaurant, distillery, Minnewaska lake and Mohonk preserve. Yoga class was great and tub was private and clean. Would definitely recommend for a quiet retreat or romantic getaway.

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. It was a great place to unwind after exploring Warren street and surrounding area. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We had such a wonderful stay at Terri's place! The apartment was finished with modern amenities, decor, and it was such a plus being able to walk up and do her yoga classes. They even let our pup sit in during one of the classes which we thought was so nice. The place also had a beautiful yard area as well. Terri and her husband were very friendly and shared great recommendations too. Thanks for everything! Looking forward to coming back soon.

Joseph was always responsive and very accommodating when I had an issue arise. He was willing to work with me on any questions or requests I had (I did a long term stay at his place). The house was very clean. I highly recommend!
