We have just returned from a stay in this wonderful barn. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful than the pictures show. Great location and really peaceful. The children loved seeing the chickens and horses. Great location and would definitely recommend for families wanting to go to Whitby , Dalby Forest and the little village of Thornton Le Dale with its lovely cafes.

Great stay, stopped with my kids who are mostly teens, they didn’t want to leave! Plenty of room for us all to spread out, very spacious! Convenient for city centre, shops, train station etc Would definitely stop again, many thanks! Host left us sweets and staples which was a lovely touch.

Ben was an excellent host and I would really recommend his place for the location, if you are holidaying in Ripon it is very central. The house was clean and homely. Parking is on street and we managed to get a spot on the road every night the week we stayed but generally it had filled up by approximately 17:00, there is alternative parking in a carpark around the corner though. There is a nice running route through fields along the river out of Ripon and back in from the north. Thanks for the lovely stay.

We had such a lovely weekend! The cottage is beautiful and cosy. It is super clean and has more than you could ever ask for! Lots of lovely little touches throughout the cottage. Its location was perfect for wandering around Masham, and although it’s right next to the road it was so so peaceful! We all had a wonderful sleep in the super comfy beds. We could of quite happily moved in here forever 💖 Would highly recommend and absolutely would not hesitate to book here again. Beautiful beautiful cottage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks so much 🩷

Beautiful property - very spacious but homely and cosy. Great host who provided lots of local recommendations in advance. Proactively communicated clear instructions for accessing the property and asked if we needed travel cot. Very close to Helmsley which has lots of lovely coffee shops and cafes and great farm shop with cafe (Beadlam Grange).

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! LOVED our stay! Beautiful accommodation, surroundings and wonderful animals! Loved our highland cow experience and afternoon tea, loved meeting the goats and sheep also! The hosts were lovely, Cat was so helpful and said to text if we needed anything. The fussy wagon was absolutely beautiful, we loved every minute of our stay and think this will be a yearly trip now! Thank you again x

If you’re staying in Pocklington then this house is fantastic. Huge! Clean! Warm and cosy. All the mod cons. Really really exceeded our expectations. It’s just a couple of minutes walk from Market Place. Only comment is that maybe there should be fans in all the bathrooms…otherwise, it’s like Dr. Who’s Tardis…way bigger than you think. Loved it.
