I've stayed at Calley's places many times. You can beat the ski-in/ski-out location. She has made some nice upgrades to the units over the years and always does a great job with the communication. Her property manager is a great guy and is very responsive if issues arise. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great place to stay at. Nothing beats being able to just walk out of you back door and be on the ski hill. Has everything anyone would need plus more.

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

Good spot, nice place for the price. We had a small mix-up with getting back in, but Tim was very responsive and got it handle immediately.

The house was exactly as described in a beautiful setting, right on the ski hill. Beautiful property. All amenities included as described except for soap and shampoo for the shower I recommend bringing your own. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with. We will definitely recommend and planning on making this an annual trip. There are a series of hikes and 5 waterfalls just down the road about 15 minutes. We had a great stay

This is a very nice and spacious place in a convenient building whether you are skiing at Black River (which is ski in - ski out) or Jackson Creek Summit which is only 10 minutes away and has easy parking. Calley is super responsive and easy to work with.

Tim’s place was very relaxing for the early weekend getaway! Would def stay with host again!

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Collin's place was perfect for our family Christmas! Such a nice spot tucked away in the woods - perfect for stargazing! We even saw eagles and a family of otters playing on the ice. The house had everything we needed for our stay and check-in and out was a breeze. I'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lakes!!

Better than advertised! Pics do not do it justice! Owner is VERY communicative and prompt, exceptionally clean and well cared for!

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

What a great family get away for us! Beautiful home, upgraded main bath with huge shower. Great views of the lake in living room and lots of bedrooms. Everything was very clean and ready to go when we got there, owner was in regular communication and answered all our questions, including a fantastic recommendation for a Fish Fry. Everything went very smoothly, we would highly recommend this house. The only note to make is that the two levels of the home have separate entrances, which we weren't aware of when booking. It worked out for us as the 3 kids had their own 'apartment' so it wasn't a bad thing, just a note as it wasn't quite clear in the listing. Amazing place, highly recommend!!

Great location, great cabin. We loved how close we were to the biking trails and the view of the lake was spectacular.

Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

This place was as described and had plenty of amenities and essentials. It had a stocked kitchen for cooking on-site and it was a comfortable place for our group. Located in a friendly area and close to everything that Iron County, WI has to offer. I would recommend for a northern getaway.

Mark & Wendy's cabin was exactly as pictured - cute & cozy! They were extremely responsive hosts and gave us great recommendations for things to do/places to eat in the area. I was curious if the cabin would be covered in dog hair/smell since they are allowed (which was wonderful for us, as we brought our puppy), but there were no signs of dogs other than some chewed up furniture. The lake access will be especially wonderful in the summer. We'd definitely stay there again!

My wife and I stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time at this beautiful quaint little two bedroom cottage. The name of "The View" is spot on as we had a spectacular view of the lake just steps from the front door. We enjoyed our morning coffee looking out at the lake. There are no resorts on the lake, just homeowners, so the lake is very quiet and peaceful. The fishing was great as we caught Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and a lot of Crappie. Kasia was super responsive at check-in and we never needed to contact her for anything else. I also, loved the fish cleaning station near the campfire pit with running water via the hose attached to the cottage. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay there again.

Guys ski trip to ABR and Big Powderhorn. We had plenty of space for our group and enjoyed the gathering space playing games at the large dining room table. Extremely quiet at night, we were pleasantly surprised how close it was to everything including skiing and restaurants. I highly recommend.

This place was perfect for our group of adults. Just a 10 sec walk down to the water, for swimming and kayaking. It was so peaceful and loved drinking my coffee on the porch overlooking the water. So much space and a perfect up north cabin. Mark was very responsive and the place was very clean.

I’ve stayed here once in the fall and once in winter, both great. The house is solid, clean and quiet. Looking forward to visiting in spring and summer.

Brian's place was nice, neat, and clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. It was just as pictures showed. Very good location for snowmobiling, close to trails and restaurants. Host and housekeeper were informative and answered questions well. The only down side is its on the main highway so kind of noisy in the mornings, but not a deal breaker for us.

Nice quiet and relaxing stay with the family. Great hiking trails within driving range. Exactly what we needed.
