I've stayed at Calley's places many times. You can beat the ski-in/ski-out location. She has made some nice upgrades to the units over the years and always does a great job with the communication. Her property manager is a great guy and is very responsive if issues arise. You can't go wrong staying here.

I've stayed at Calley's places at Black River Basin many times. It is so fun to be right on the slopes. This unit has some recent upgrades that were nice too. Calley and her property manager are very helpful and flexible.

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

Great location and proximity to Jackson Creek Summit! Very quick to respond to and fix a small issue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family ski vacation. Bob's place was comfortable, warm, and clean. We loved the fireplaces and hot tub after our ski days and the kitchen offed ample space for us all (9) to enjoy time together. Bob's place has a great view of Powderhorn Mountain.

The house was exactly as described in a beautiful setting, right on the ski hill. Beautiful property. All amenities included as described except for soap and shampoo for the shower I recommend bringing your own. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with. We will definitely recommend and planning on making this an annual trip. There are a series of hikes and 5 waterfalls just down the road about 15 minutes. We had a great stay

If you’re looking for an “all the comforts of home” location to explore all things western UP and upper Wisconsin, then Tim’s place is your location. The unit was authentic feeling and within the scenery and landscape. The lower unit was clean and well appointed. The parking was easy as was locating any needs. The year round hot tub was clean and relaxing and there were plenty of linens to accommodate your needs. Its proximity to the Porcupine Mountains, several area waterfalls, historical towns, and convenient roadways to radiate out made the location a perfect adventure spot for our vacation. Tim’s units all appeared to be equally appealing and I will return on my next adventure UP!

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Collin's place was perfect for our family Christmas! Such a nice spot tucked away in the woods - perfect for stargazing! We even saw eagles and a family of otters playing on the ice. The house had everything we needed for our stay and check-in and out was a breeze. I'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lakes!!

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

Amazing getaway. Definitely get groceries before coming into town. The stay was unforgettable and the kids enjoyed the backyard/view. The common area was a lot of fun. Plenty to do around the area. I’ll be glad to return

Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

Our stay on Annabel Lake was wonderful! The house was exactly as it was described, perfect sleeping area for the kids upstairs, and a wonderful private property. The kitchen has all the supplies we needed and all the amenities listed were available to us. We have already booked our stay for next year and are so excited to come back!

Clayton and Clair are the nicest hosts you will ever run into that puts their house up for short term rental. The place was set up with towels and can sleep so many people comfortably! I would recommend this spot for anyone (family or friends) staying on the island!!

Guys ski trip to ABR and Big Powderhorn. We had plenty of space for our group and enjoyed the gathering space playing games at the large dining room table. Extremely quiet at night, we were pleasantly surprised how close it was to everything including skiing and restaurants. I highly recommend.

Becky was very responsive, and helpful to us all! We stayed here with 17 people and everyone had what they needed! And the gameroom is key! People can stay up and talk and play games while others are able to sleep quietly. It's great

This place was perfect for our group of adults. Just a 10 sec walk down to the water, for swimming and kayaking. It was so peaceful and loved drinking my coffee on the porch overlooking the water. So much space and a perfect up north cabin. Mark was very responsive and the place was very clean.

I’ve stayed here once in the fall and once in winter, both great. The house is solid, clean and quiet. Looking forward to visiting in spring and summer.
