The host was very responsive, they left biscuits for our dog which was very nice. The kitchen was great as was the bathroom clean and convenient (everything you needed was there). Would definitely recommend!

Location, location, location!!! The beach was just a 5 minute walk (even with loads of beach toys, chairs, and floats- all provided by Cindy!) All 5 of our children (ages 1-18) enjoyed their time- fun for all ages! Cindy was overly accommodating for us throughout our time there. We have officially fallen in love with Lake Erie! 😍

This was a convenient and nice space for our family to stay on our Cedar Point trip. Clean, spacious, and well maintained. As other reviewers described, it sits between two well maintained motel units. Thanks for letting us stay!

Host was very responsive. Location was perfect for a short trip to Kalahari with the kids. It was great being able to bring the dogs with us. There is a nice little part on Lake Erie a couple of blocks away. We had good meals at Danny Boys Pizza and Sandusky Bay Pancake House. Home was very nicely decorated. Lower floor a bit chilly but there is a large space heater to use. Easy access in and out of the home and parking is convenient next to the house. Good alternative to staying at Kalahari as it is much more peaceful.

This little house was comfortable, clean and convenient to everything we wanted to see. We took a small walk to the end of the street and were on the beach of Lake Erie. About a 15 minute drive and we were at Cedar Point. There was a gas station close, a Dairy Queen if you prefer burgers and 2 nice dine in restaurants for the more mature palates. It was fully stocked and we lacked nothing during our stay.

Beautiful view of the lake! Valia was also very kind when 2 of my sisters decided a few days before our trip to join us for one night each. House was clean. Two showers and an extra .5 bathroom = great! I was concerned about a review from over a year ago that mentioned a cigarette smell. When we first walked in, 2 of us thought there was a slight smell right in the entrance, but it was not present throughout the house and we didn't notice it again. The backyard did have around 100 cigarette butts under the balcony but it's clear no one is smoking inside. I'd recommend bringing some extra blankets if you like more than one per bed. There were plenty of pillows. A fun town with nearby unique thrift stores, restaurants and a roller skating rink. WONDERFUL HIKING TRAILS AND WATERFALL NEARBY! I would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

Great location, everything you need, clean, and everything you needed!

First time here. Heather was an excellent host, very responsive, and friendly. The location is perfect for parents visiting their children at Oberlin College. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find, clean & close to many things we wanted to do. The only thing, there are steps to get in which we didn’t know and wasn’t an issue. We would definitely stay again! Thank you again for accommodating us!💗

We came to Ohio for the birth of our son and stayed in the apartement for six weeks. During all this time, Chris and Jim made sure, that their venue was our "home away from home"! They were extremely welcoming and supportive, be it with equipment we needed for the baby, like a crip with changing table, or with tips what to do in the area. They fully respected our privacy, but at the same time were very interested and supportive towards our journey and our story. They were always open for a quick chat or a good longer tallk. So, after leaving back to our "normal" home, we really feel we found new friends overseas! The apartment is large and well-equipped and exactly as we expected it to be from the description and the pictures. Amherst is a very small town, but has a very nice center with a good variety of restaurants, bars/breweries and cafés. All of that is within walking distance. We hope there will be a next time and alread are looking forward to it!

We loved staying here in this cozy home in peaceful fields. Catherine was so conscientious and communicative. There were nice additions like milk and eggs and snacks, too, that were nice touches. We’d definitely stay again. The only thing that I wish we would have known ahead of time was that the hot tub was drained for the winter. Thanks so much for the nice stay!

Kristina’s place was just as described. Everything was clean and taken care of. Check-in was easy. Kristina was responsive and gave us recommendations for an area to eat that met our needs and it turned out to be a great suggestion. The bed was a tad uncomfortable, but it did its purpose and was clean. I’m pretty sure someone was in the upstairs unit our first night, but we never heard them or had issues. Parking was also easy, happy to have easy, free, accessible, off-street parking. The house was close to the areas we needed and the area felt safe.

We felt right at home staying here and Mary was an amazing host. Exactly as described. Will definitely stay here again

Lori’s place was comfy, cozy and loaded with unique details. Her apartment was tidy and filled with all the essentials needed for your stay. The location was great! We found a great dinner spot called The Landmark. Great drinks and dinner options. Breakfast was also easily accessible and delicious at Wake up and Waffle. We cannot wait to return to this area for another little getaway trip and highly possible we will land back in this little paradise haven. Ohhhhh and the “mess” she is talking about out back currently is simply incredible and breathtaking! You have to go and see this project for yourself. Can’t wait to return and see the finished project. Well done, Lori❤️❤️❤️

The condo was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It is within walking distance of restaurants, stores and you can access the path the walks along the lake easily. Hosts were very responsive. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at the loft twice now. We love the close distance to Cedar Point and the peaceful setting and beautiful views. It had everything we needed to be comfortable on our trip.

SO BEAUTIFUL! The radio on the wall was a unique addition that blew my mind. We found out that we didn’t have hot water the next morning but the hosts got it fixed by the time we got back later that day. Good hosts and great apartment.

Spring break we took our 2 teens to Paul’s place. We live about 1.5 hours from Sandusky so we truly enjoy coming here. This will definitely be a location to stay for our 5-8 visits to Cedar Point each year!! Also, it has the convenience of being very close to Kalahari and other water parks. We took advantage of this while being able to cook and bake new fun creative dishes. So much fun and a beautiful view by the lake!

Scott was absolutely amazing during the whole process and the actual Airbnb was amazing. It felt like a home away from home. Will definitely book with him again in the future! The walk to the jet express was literally like 3 min max 5 min so made it perfect! The view was perfect as well and the actual area where the condo was was so nice and peaceful.
