We came to Ohio for the birth of our son and stayed in the apartement for six weeks. During all this time, Chris and Jim made sure, that their venue was our "home away from home"! They were extremely welcoming and supportive, be it with equipment we needed for the baby, like a crip with changing table, or with tips what to do in the area. They fully respected our privacy, but at the same time were very interested and supportive towards our journey and our story. They were always open for a quick chat or a good longer tallk. So, after leaving back to our "normal" home, we really feel we found new friends overseas! The apartment is large and well-equipped and exactly as we expected it to be from the description and the pictures. Amherst is a very small town, but has a very nice center with a good variety of restaurants, bars/breweries and cafés. All of that is within walking distance. We hope there will be a next time and alread are looking forward to it!

We loved staying here in this cozy home in peaceful fields. Catherine was so conscientious and communicative. There were nice additions like milk and eggs and snacks, too, that were nice touches. We’d definitely stay again. The only thing that I wish we would have known ahead of time was that the hot tub was drained for the winter. Thanks so much for the nice stay!

This is the second time we've stayed here, which says more than anything else. The place was great, just like last time. Noticed some nice updates this time to make the place even better. Literally the only reason not to stay here would be if someone in your party cannot climb stairs or would have difficulty with a bathtub type shower. Aside from that, book with complete confidence.

Lori’s place was comfy, cozy and loaded with unique details. Her apartment was tidy and filled with all the essentials needed for your stay. The location was great! We found a great dinner spot called The Landmark. Great drinks and dinner options. Breakfast was also easily accessible and delicious at Wake up and Waffle. We cannot wait to return to this area for another little getaway trip and highly possible we will land back in this little paradise haven. Ohhhhh and the “mess” she is talking about out back currently is simply incredible and breathtaking! You have to go and see this project for yourself. Can’t wait to return and see the finished project. Well done, Lori❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful property on the marina! Perfect location for the Burning Snowman Festival! Very tentative and friendly owners. Highly recommend!

This was our second time at Torrie's place in 4 months - that should tell you everything you need to know! We came once for a little bachelorette trip and again with our young kids. The location was perfect for both trips! Could not ask for a better spot to catch the ferry quickly. The house is incredibly spacious and welcoming. The only warning I would give is that this area is full of great night life, so there are live bands playing each weekend night in multiple bars/restaurants. You will hear music until midnight - so bring noise machines or ear plugs if that's an issue for you. Depending on the bedroom, the AC units cover a lot of that anyway. But that's a minor detail in an otherwise wonderful spot - we hope to be back next summer!

We had a great experience staying at Hermes’ place! Appreciate the responsiveness and accommodations that were made for us. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived as well! The home was is in the perfect location if you’re visiting Cedar Pointe and is walking distance from many shops and restaurants. I would stay here again when I’m back in Sandusky.

A good place to stay while visiting Oberlin College, just a short walk to everything at the college and in the town. A spacious apartment in an historic building, although the layout is unusual in that the bathroom is off the living room. Perfect for 2 people.

Visiting family in the area and needed a place to sleep but didn’t spend much time there. Nice, quiet place. Well light. Third time to stay at a property of Michael’s. He is quick to respond to questions. Clean and comfortable furniture. Well maintained. We will stay again at a property he owns if available.

Host was very responsive. Location was perfect for a short trip to Kalahari with the kids. It was great being able to bring the dogs with us. There is a nice little part on Lake Erie a couple of blocks away. We had good meals at Danny Boys Pizza and Sandusky Bay Pancake House. Home was very nicely decorated. Lower floor a bit chilly but there is a large space heater to use. Easy access in and out of the home and parking is convenient next to the house. Good alternative to staying at Kalahari as it is much more peaceful.

Renees place is about as close as you can get to the Cedar Point Entrance unless you are going to pitch a tent. It worked out perfect for us and we enjoyed the propane firepit near the water.

We enjoyed our stay at Phillip and Trisha’s Airbnb. We brought a family of 6 here for a volleyball tournament and it was the perfect size and location for us. All the beds were comfortable and the house is decorated well. Checkin was easy and the home is right in the heart of Sandusky. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the garage for fun playing pool, ping pong or just hanging out. They did a great job remodeling this home. You can see Cedar Point from the master bedroom so it is very close to the park. Hosts are very responsive. Bring your own toiletries like soap and shampoo. We would definitely stay here again.

Jessica was the best host i’ve ever had. She was extremely helpful with our trip to Cedar Point, she gave us good recommendations on things to do and she responded very quickly. She let us have a later checkout date when we were leaving which was very convenient! The house was very clean and spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The next time I come back to Cedar Point I will be staying here again!

We loved our stay here! Very comfortable and welcoming place right next to the lake. Sandra was always responsive, and made sure we had a great time at her home! We would love to stay here again.

Came up for conference. Trains came through at night. I used sound machine to mask out the sound. I would stay again next year if available.

The condo was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It is within walking distance of restaurants, stores and you can access the path the walks along the lake easily. Hosts were very responsive. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at the loft twice now. We love the close distance to Cedar Point and the peaceful setting and beautiful views. It had everything we needed to be comfortable on our trip.

Really enjoyed staying here. The place was perfect and very convenient for walking around downtown Sandusky and taking the express to Kellys Island. Thank you!

Spring break we took our 2 teens to Paul’s place. We live about 1.5 hours from Sandusky so we truly enjoy coming here. This will definitely be a location to stay for our 5-8 visits to Cedar Point each year!! Also, it has the convenience of being very close to Kalahari and other water parks. We took advantage of this while being able to cook and bake new fun creative dishes. So much fun and a beautiful view by the lake!

Prefect location, short walk to jet express and other restaurants. Quite. Super easy check in/out

we took a short 2 day trip to cedar point and Marks place was perfect! close distance to the park and the lake. We will back!

Corinne's place was a wonderful stay for us. Instructions on where to park, how to access the building, etc. were very clear and easy to follow. The loft was very, very clean... spotless! We appreciated all the little extra details, especially the Keurig pods provided. I always pack my own coffee and had forgotten to, so we were so happy to see that they were provided. I would highly recommend this loft to others looking to book a stay in Sandusky! I'd like to note that we both found the bed to be on the firm side, but obviously this is something that is a personal preference so may not be an issue for others but probably good to know when booking.
