What a beautiful gem! Perfect place to relax in nature that's less than an hour away from Nairobi and at a reasonable price. Monique provided great instructions and support, Mary was great as was her food (amazing chai!) & she made sure we had everything we needed, and Jackson made sure we saw all the animals we could on the safari! As others have said, the outdoor shower was amazing - hot water against the slight wind was an awesome experience. The shallow pool was nice to dip in. The outdoor fire was nice while stargazing. Overall, a relaxing great place.

My son and I absolutely loved our stay at April's house ! This is my second time staying there and it felt like home. We both felt that we were truly experiencing Kenya, it's amazing people and community!

Lenah is an excellent host, prudent in communication and very friendly. The place looks exactly as in the photos, she’s a very clean knit and smart host. The place was just like depicted in the pictures. It is comfortable and our family of 10 enjoyed our stay. We had few issues though, but the host fixed them right away. She even provided us with a chef when we requested one, and we ended up keeping him the whole duration of our stay. The food was yummy, prepared in a kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed even the outside cooking and roasting of meat and vegetables on the grill. There were two monkeys that often appeared in the backyard while we sat in the gazebo that turned out to be our favorite place. The location is convenient to reach from the airport. Thank you, we had a great stay.

Upon arrival, I was incredibly pleased to find that the listing was entirely accurate and matched the photos perfectly. The space was not only beautiful but also immaculately clean and well-maintained. Every detail that was highlighted in the pictures was exactly as described, which made settling in that much easier. Winfred went above and beyond by providing a guide to local attractions and dining options, which I found incredibly helpful. It was evident that she genuinely cared about ensuring that my stay was enjoyable and stress-free. It was a day booked and wish I would have stayed more.
