We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had the pleasure of staying at this home and it was absolutely amazing! It was a perfect way to spend my 40th birthday trip with my friends and family. We only had five people stay at the home but it can accommodate more. The home is located in the county which makes incredible to catch the northern lights. The spa was my favorite, the view morning and night was spectacular! This is a great place to stay if you are looking for peace and high quality. The host was amazing and met us at centralized location to guide us to the property, which would have been challenging otherwise given the remoteness. I hope to visit Iceland again soon!

This was an absolute dream house. My family and I were taken back at the magical cabin by the sea. The inside was spotless and had a fun and quirky story to tell about each piece hung on the walls. My kids enjoyed watching the sheep roam and the short walk to the sea. This was the perfect spot to kick off our vacation.

Vi har haft et helt perfekt ophold. Karl Davor fortalte flere gange, at vi bare skulle bruge af hans ting, så vi havde det fint med at bruge af fx krydderier, lidt mel, skraldeposer osv. Vi måtte også bruge hans hot tub uden ekstra betaling, men man skal selvfølgeligt være opmærksom på, at der er en lugt af svovl fra det varme vand, men det har Karl Davor jo ikke indflydelse på. Sengene var meget behagelige og huset moderne og fint indrettet. Vi kunne bruge vaskemaskine, tørretumbler og opvaskemaskine samt Disney+. Vi havde lejet bil, så afstandene til seværdighederne var ikke noget problem. Der er en lille butik sammen med tankstationen, her kan man købe det mest nødvendige. Omgivelserne passede godt til os. Der er masser af grønne områder/park med legeplads. Der er meget kort afstand til stranden, her kan man finde sten og kaste smut. Vi fik ikke prøvet det lokale svømmebassin, men det er også indenfor kort afstand. Vi boede her i 12 dage og nød hver dag udsigten til bjerget Esja.

Fantastic family accommodation. Beautiful views & stylish but practical interior. Lots for kids to do inside the house (for bad weather days!). Would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again if we come back to Iceland in the future!

Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, providing us with plenty of helpful tips about local attractions and hidden gems—we truly learned so much and benefited greatly from their insights. The room was spotless, well-organized, and very comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, making us feel right at home. The accommodation was the perfect stopover for our trip through the Westfjords. Everything was as described, clean, and very cozy, and we felt comfortable. The place offered great landscapes, and we were satisfied. We would stay here again anytime.

Beautifull hose across from the most beautiful pool in Iceland. Can't be a better location. Amazing view, northern lights and the best pool. House is spacious clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but could easily stay more. Highly recommended

This was the best place we stayed on our entire trip to Iceland! Beautiful view of Hofsós, comfortable, cozy, adorable spot and Þóra is the most accommodating host. We locked ourselves out in the first hour because we were very tired and dumb and Þóra had us back in within 2 minutes. She had great recommendations on what to do in Hofsos which is a beautiful town. Next time I’m in Iceland I would probably stay here the entire trip. THANK YOU, Þóra

Excelente casa para pasar unos días en Reikiavik! Solo a 10 minutos del centro, Sky Lagoon a 10 minutos, zona muy agradable y la casa hermosa. Todo lo que necesitas para pasar unos días como en casa.

This house was absolutely perfect for our first night in Iceland! Daniel was flexible with us checking in a little early and checking out a bit late, which helped us recover from a bit of jet lag from traveling through the night. The views from the house were spectacular and in walking distance from the most beautiful oceanside cliffs. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, and what a sight they were. There is a quaint restaurant down the road where we had a warm cup of coffee and they welcomed my daughter to play their piano. The best way I can describe this house and the town of Arnarstapi, is magical!

Very clean and spacious. Well equipped home perfect for two couples. Location was very good. Close to airport, walking path along the ocean, walk to restaurants and bars. Beautiful sunrise in morning. Little noise from airport, especially with windows closed. Big grocery store a relatively short drive away. We used this as a base for all our day trips and it worked very well for us. Definitely a good find for us.

There was a Polish copy of The Witcher, so I knew it was a classy joint. But this place was magnificent! A little slice of Heaven in an Icelandic fishing village. Magnificent!!

Karen was superb with recommendations of places to visit and eat. Karen kindly booked our transfer and was very kind to be flexible with check out and somewhere to store our cases. The location of the house was central and very useful to be 5 min walk to the Hallgrímskirkja church for pick ups for trips. The house was as described with enough space for all 5 of us.

Arnór was a great host! The house was clean and cozy. It looks exactly like the pictures. The views from this house are amazing. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely stay here and recommend it to anyone.
