It was great to have a whole house to stay in, especially one with a full kitchen. It was a great location with ocean view and easy to walk to a nice restaurant nearby on the ocean. The house was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. From the entryway the stairs going up went to the bedroom, and the stairs going down went to the kitchen and bathroom. They had great railings for safety going up and down the stairs.

This house is absolutely magical! Far enough away that you don’t have to see another soul if you don’t want to, but close enough to the city to make it easily drivable for day trips or tours in Reykjavik. Perfect temperature inside during cold months, simple yet luxurious in the amenities provided, and incredible location to see the aurora! The hosts were extremely communicative and kind and helped us through the entire trip. This is THE house to stay at in this area and WORTH EVERY PENNY!

This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

Excelente alojamiento. Las instrucciones de llegada y la ubicación fueron claras. La casa es muy linda, estaba limpia, ordenada y con todo lo que se necesita para una estancia confortable. Coincide con el anuncio y las fotos. Camas y almohadas muy cómodas, habitaciones con buen espacio. Es importante saber que solo uno de los baños tiene ducha, el otro tiene solo tina de baño. Pudimos ver auroras boreales desde la ventana de las habitaciones, lo que hizo aún mejor nuestra experiencia en este alojamiento. Ragna siempre estuvo pendiente de la comunicación. Recomendable 100%.

Our favorite Airbnb ever! This gorgeous house was tastefully decorated with amazing amenities and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Everything was spotless, and the instructions were clear. Telma was friendly and responsive, making us feel right at home. It was the perfect end to our vacation – waking up on the lake with mountain views and goats passing by each day. The weather was rough during our visit so we spent a lot of our time indoors - this was the perfect retreat. We already miss the sauna, it was hard to say goodbye. Absolutely perfect in every way! Thanks for the memories.

Margret's place is simply wonderful, to say the least. The house is extremely comfortable, sophisticated and clean. It's equipped with everything you need. Its location, for those looking for a quiet and idyllic place, is simply unbeatable. The view, the silence and the nature of Iceland are right next door... There is a supermarket nearby (20 minutes). Margret is very friendly and kind. She recommended good restaurants and gave important tips. My family and I will definitely be back. It was worth every second...

Beautiful place to stay, especially during winter time. Really magical landacapes. Apartament is located close to the sea and amazing fjords. Totally worth it.

Helga was extremely responsive and the information she shared was incredibly helpful! She made sure everything was set for our 11 month old and provided great recommendations. One of our group had a later flight and she was super flexible with a later flexible time. Would highly recommend staying here.

Pour notre première nuit en Islande, nous avons apprécié le calme de l'appartement d'Helena. Il est agréablement spacieux et très très propre. Vraiment proche de l'aéroport, c'est un plaisir de s'y poser après une journée à voyager. Keflavik est une mignonne petite ville pour se balader. De la chambre, la vue sur la mer est apaisante. Notre petit garçon a vraiment apprécié les jouets à disposition et le petit lit installé pour lui. Merci beaucoup ✨

Dísa's accomodation was outstanding. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We wanted something remote so we had more chances of seeing the aurora and we were amazed how stunning it was at the property - better than the tour we went on! There were some lovely walks we could take from the front door - just make sure you dress for the weather! Her dog Bonzo even joined us for the hikes and he was a lovely companion showing us the way. Dísa even came and gave us some eggs freshly laid on the farm that morning! The property was clean, spacious and well equipped. There are some local activities that Dísa recommended and can get some discounts on. We opted for a lovely natural hot springs which was just the ticket to soak in the thermal rock pools with the snowy mountains in the backdrop. Thank you again for an amazing stay. A truly unforgettable visit to Iceland!

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at. The hosts were so accommodating and kind. Check in/out was so easy, and the location was very peaceful. The heated floors in the bathroom felt so luxurious. We had a wonderful stay and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to Iceland.

My family and I (5 adults) had a great stay there. Hjalmar and his wife greeted us when we arrived at the house. He was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything. We would stay there again. Highly recommend!

Really nice appartment in a lovely town, it's a perfect place to go explore the region or see the northern lights. The house is easy to find and the instructions are very clear with all the commodities necessary. I recommend strongly this appartment.

The villa is perfect for Aurora borealis watching because of no light pollution. The apps are helpful but we saw the lights when apps did not predict them. Golden circle is accessible with impressive sceneries and the tomato farm restaurant was interesting. The view and the surroundings are beautiful, wild nature is visible through the window and we spotted a snowy owl at dusk. Watching the Icelandic scenery from hot tub was a highlight as well as listening to vynil records and swatching the fireplace. One night we cooked lamb on the bbq and baked potatoes. Selfoss town nearby has cute coffee shops and fully stocked supermarkets.

Duidelijke instructies van de host, snelle reactie bij vragen. Klein schattig huisje, met alles er op en er aan! Natuur is erg mooi rondom het park, voor van winkels moet je wel wat verder rijden, maar goed bereikbaar met eigen auto. Top verblijf gehad!

Es war ein sehr Schöner Aufenthalt. Alles wie beschrieben. Der flexibel Check In war super. Wir konnten von der Unterkunft aus Polarlichter sehen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut von dort aus erreichbar. Snacks und Kaffee waren schon vorhanden.

We had a wonderful two night stay at the farm. It was a good place to stay to get us closer to some of the places we wanted to see in the south. The barn is eclectic and big and had so many extra amenities. We cooked dinner in and played games at the big table. Walking to their private black beach was like from another world! We also loved seeing the resident cats peering in the window!

What can I say. As per the pics and amazing. We were 2 adults and 2 teenage children staying for 4 nights. The house is private and secluded, set in breathtaking scenery. It’s 15 mins from lots of supermarkets or fast food outlets which are reasonable. About 20 mins from downtown and any attractions. 40 mins from the airport. Clean, with everything you need for a relaxing stay after a day in Iceland. We hiked a mountain you can see from the lounge window. Amazing views. You can see the northern lights from the house most nights as long as it’s clear. Host was great and responsive through messaging. We made a booking mistake and she changed it without any drama. Looking at MOST places to rent for a few days in Iceland, this is next level. For us as a family it was what we wanted. Private, comfortable, quiet, special. You probably only go to Iceland once… it’s special…do it right. Rent this now.

It’s been definitely one of my best AirBnB experience. This cottage is absolutely delightful! We loved every minute of our stay. And Anna Maria is a super welcoming host. I highly recommend this place as a great base for exploring stunning Austurland

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!
