This place was awesome! My kids especially loved the pool table and hot tub! Great communication and exactly what we expected.

Robert and Iris were amazing hosts. He was there to greet us at check in after an early morning flight and give us a tour of the home, there were some welcome treats, and everything was so clean and cute! We were convenient to downtown without the hecticness, tucked away in a cute little neighborhood. We had an amazing view from the wrap around balcony to the city's fireworks display. It was truly the most amazing location for New Year's Eve. Communication was excellent, going out of their way to assist us with multiple requests and went well above and beyond. We were so appreciative of everything and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was just perfect for our multi-generational family trip.

가격에 비해 놀랄 정도로 넓습니다. 방 3개짜리 독채를 쓸 수 있다는 점에서 굉장히 만족스러웠습니다. 나의 동료들은 이런 집을 만들고 싶어서 따로 동영상으로 기록을 남기기도 했습니다. 우리 여행 중에 식기세척기, 건조기, 세탁기가 모두 다 있는 유일한 숙소였습니다. 다음에 간다고 해도 이곳에서 머물고 싶습니다.

We hadden een heel fijn verblijf! Veel ruimte en schoon. Op loopafstand van het lokale zwembad. 10 minuten met de auto naar downtown Reykjavik. Contact met host heel fijn en vriendelijk. Plus punt: wasmachine (zeker met een baby)

Thorey's home was beautiful and spacious for our group of eight. The house came with a well-equipped kitchen, large dining area for our big group, comfortable bedrooms, TV rooms and even a gym. The living room had an incredible view of the skyline and was situated in a quiet neighborhood with only a 10 minute drive to Reykjavik. Thorey was a great host who proactively provided tips for our travel days and was very responsive.

We travel to Iceland often and this is now at the top of our favorites list. The history and authenticity of the home is super interesting and very fun, but the upgrades and amenities make sure that you have no loss of creature comforts. The low ceilinged sleeping arrangements were challenging for two vertically gifted people, but we considered the contortions required to be our flexibility workouts for the week. We love to be west of center city and this location is just far enough from the hub-bub to be convenient and peaceful. If you want to get out of the city, the included car is great for grabbing supplies or visiting farther flung activities. Margret was super helpful and had very fast communication, a great host experience. This will be a highly recommended location for anyone, without small children or elders, that asks me for suggestions.

Beautiful house with an incredible panorama. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired and is very well equipped for an Airbnb. Angi was always available and responded quickly. We would visit again and again

We booked Svavar's place in Setberg to explore the Snaefellsnes peninsula, having never been there. The house faces the Atlantic Ocean and also south towards Kirkjufell. It's an amazing location. The house is about 12-15 minutes from the nearest town which has a small grocery store, a liquor store (do all your liquor buying on arrival at the airport to save a LOT of money) and couple of restaurants. The house is FULLY stocked. Whatever you could possibly need is there. The kitchen is set to cook. I made 3 full dinners there instead of going out. We got lucky due to clear weather and a serious solar flare, so we saw the Northern Lights every night there! The patio is wonderful and when the wind subsided we even sat outside a bit. Svavar is fantastic at communicating and always helpful if we had a question. He was very generous all around. I would absolutely recommend this house if you want to get away from the crowds. There is NO one around you! Fantastic accommodation!

What’s an absolutely beautiful family home . We felt right at home here . so much that I didn’t want to come back home to England :( very spacious decorated lovely . It was the middle of winter and it was extremely warm for us as well. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and lots of treats left for us . Thankyou nothing was a problem . looked after the family Cat who was absolutely delightful And no trouble at all . Very close to everything supermarket round the corner, got everywhere very easy was really sad to leave. Would definitely love to come back one day. Thankyou so much xxx

Perfect house for a group of friends. We spent New Years Eve there and loved it. We even had the luck to see a massive aurora on New Years Eve which made the place even more magical :-) We enjoyed the hot tub, the quiet location and the great kitchen and living room. Beds were comfy, too. Only thing was that the instructions for the hot tub werent up to date and it took a little until we solved it. Other than that everything was perfect :-)

We had two unfortunate last minute cancellations from other host so didn’t find their place until the day before our stay. It was nicer than either and wish we would have just booked with them first. So, thankful to them for making our last few days in Iceland a perfect end to our trip!

We had an excellent stay at The Mountain Villa in early February. Hafþór and Björn were gracious hosts, responding to queries quickly and providing clear instructions to find and access the place. The villa itself was as charming and idillic as we had expected, everything was perfectly clean and tidy on arrival and the facilities were fantastic; we particularly enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge after long days exploring. Flúðir was a quiet little village but perfect for what we wanted, with enough options to eat and drink for the short time we were there, and easily walkable from the villa. The hospitality at Restaurant Minilik was particularly excellent, and the Secret Lagoon is definitely worth a visit too! The Mountain Villa was a perfect hub to explore the region, with lots of sights and walks within a 30 minute drive, and a good place to travel further into the South from. Overall, a perfect stay and we hope to visit again in the future! Thank you Hafþór and Björn!

Sara and Rabbi are excellent, proactive hosts- who, with any issue or question, went out of their way to assist and solve problems. This home is extraordinary, nestled in uncompromisingly beautiful, natural surroundings and is truly such a special place. It can accommodate a large group, but we were 4 singles and found it was rather perfect considering the number of bathrooms and showers. The beds were super comfortable for European standards (a joy!), the kitchen was well-stocked and we felt so at home. The hot tub is natural, so be mindful there may be some algae floaties. And watching the Aurora from the many viewpoints throughout the property was an unforgettable experience. I hope to bring my kids and husband here soon, but until next time I’ll be seeing this place in my dreams often, I’m sure!

Berglind responded very quickly and provided all the information we needed! The house was very clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Soaking in the hot tub at night was truly relaxing! The host warmly took us to see the horses, which were very friendly. Thank you to the host for giving us a wonderful night in Iceland!

Kjartan's Borgarnes Villa was everything we hoped it would be. The views were amazing, the lake access was enjoyed and the deck time was spectacular!

Hrafn's home was a great place to stay for our first visit to Iceland. Centrally located in Reykjavik, just minutes from the downtown area.

Wij hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad mede dankzij deze mooie accommodatie. Het is een beetje afgelegen t.o.v. Akureyri; wat ook duidelijk op de kaart te zien is. Maar met een huurauto ben je binnen 10 minuten in het centrum én kun je alle kanten op. Wij zouden deze fijne plek zeker aanraden aan anderen!

Die Unterkunft war für uns perfekt für ein paar Tage Island im Winter. ❄️ Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt im Haus. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auch in den Rest der Zimmern hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Alle Highlights im Süden, der Golden Circle und Reykjavík waren super für einen Tagesausflug erreichbar, auch bei eher wenig Tageslicht in den Wintermonaten.

We really enjoyed staying here. The views are fantastic , lovely hot tub too. We booked whale watching and also drove out to myvatn, and stopped at lots of features along the way. It was all really easy from the house.

This was a really beautiful place to stay, we loved it. House was spotless and so well equipped and warm. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Location was amazing and the views are incredible. The high snow fall did make getting out of the driveway difficult, but that was part of the adventure.

This was the best place we have ever stayed as a family. Sigurdurs place is beautiful with the most stunning view. The house is spacious and very warm and cosy. It is absolute heaven, the perfect escape to the countryside with a chance of seeing the northern lights over the lake. I would definitely recommend Sigurdur’s place to everyone. AMAZING!!! Runar’s place was even better than we could have imagined. The Northern Lights were extremely visible to the naked eye 3 of the 4 nights we stayed. The back deck was lovely to watch Aurora dance in the sky. The furniture and bed (we only used 1 of the 4) were extremely clean and comfortable! To our surprise, the bathroom floor was heated, which was a lovely touch! We absolutely loved our stay here. It was extremely peaceful and secluded but also so close to town. We have already started talking coming back to Iceland and staying here again. It is the perfect home in the perfect location on the Golden Circle.

Very confortable house, perfectly situated to visit the numerous interesting sites of the Snaefellsnes national park. Anarstapi is one of the beautiful site, you are at the heart of the peninsula and at the bottom of the Snaefelljokull. It is peaceful and isolated but not matter (best place for boreal aurora) ! The house is perfect, well equipped and the spa very attractive ! Our best place in Iceland !
