Alojamientos vacacionales en Il Porcello

This little hamlet was ideal for a group of several families wanting a Tuscan holiday. Christina was a very responsive host, always available for help and suggestions. One down side was the distance from many of the Tuscan attractions such as Florence and Sienna. The hamlet is reasonably remote so is ideal for those who want a secluded holiday rather than those who want to see the sights of Tuscany.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Stefano et Roberta qui sont très accueillants et attentionnés. Le logement correspond parfaitement à sa description dans un cadre naturel et apaisant. En contrepartie, l'accès peut s'avérer difficile par une route communale que Stefano s'emploie pourtant à maintenir en état. Nous recommanderions donc une arrivée avant la nuit, malgré les explications très précises de Marco. Le séjour est alors extrêmement plaisant, renforcé par les multiples détails proposés dans le logement, les petites attentions, la disponibilité... L'emplacement, si isolé, n'est cependant qu'à 30 minutes de Volterra, San Gimignano, moins d'une heure de Sienne, etc ... Notre séjour restera donc un excellent souvenir et nous recommanderions sans hésiter ce logement à notre entourage.

Super schöne Gegend. Wunderschöner Pool und super liebe Gastgeber. Die Anreise war kein Problem auch die etwas beschwerliche Straße war nach der 2 Auffahrt kein Problem mehr. Würde ich nur nicht mit einem tiefgelegtem Auto empfehlen 😉. Die Gastgeber waren bereits Vorort und der Check in war ein Träumchen und auch jederzeit zu erreichen. Werden definitiv wieder kommen. Absolute Empfehlung. 🫶

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Um sie richtig zu genießen, sollte man mit einem Auto anreisen, da sie inmitten der Natur und etwas abgelegen liegt. Das ist jedoch ein großer Vorteil, denn die umliegende Landschaft ist wunderschön und lädt zum Erkunden und Genießen ein. Sie bietet einen tollen Kontrast zu den Tagen, an denen die nahegelegenen Städte und Touristenattraktionen besucht werden.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. Barbara was gracious and great to work with. The house was charming and just as great as it looks on the listing. The property and grounds are amazing. The town nearby was fun to visit with everything you need and lots to see. You are also in easy driving range of the other main Tuscany towns. Overall an excellent experience. Thank you Barbara!

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa casa nel periodo della fiera di Lucca. Gli host ci hanno subito accolto calorosamente, assieme alla dolcissima cagnolina Luna, facendoci sentire come fossimo a casa nostra. La casa si trova sopra una collinetta di Balbano, garantendo quindi un ottimo silenzio. Avendo un grande giardino, presenta anche un ampio parcheggio, che non è da sottovalutare. La casa è ancora in fase di ristrutturazione quindi è sì una bella casa, ma con ancora qualche piccolo accorgimento mancante. In generale una bella esperienza.

I am very glad that we got such a hostess! She is very polite, very responsive! We met for the first time, but it was as if we had known each other for many years. The house is in a very comfortable and beautiful place!! It is very clean and very cozy!! If I come to Tuscany again, then only to Caterina!)

Wir waren eine Woche während unserer Flitterwochen bei Andrea zu Gast. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Alles war sauber, der Blick vom Garten umwerfend schön und unsere beiden Hunde haben sich ebenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt. Andrea ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.
