Leigh’s home is wonderful, spacious and beautifully decorated. The view from the deck into the the forest was so serene and peaceful. Leigh was a perfect host. She responded promptly thought our booking. Location of the property was perfect, close to shops and lots to do in the area for families. Thuli, the housekeeper was such a help. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Leigh’s and would definitely book again.

We had never stayed in an Airbnb property before and so had no idea what to expect. However, The Lilypad surpassed anything we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and much bigger than it seemed in the photos and Derrick and Margi are the perfect hosts. The house is spacious and very well equipped. Even the monkeys turned up to watch us eating lunch in the garden one day. It was like a wildlife documentary in reverse! We could not believe their generosity in taking our children to the airport at 5.30am after we left! If all Airbnb properties and hosts are all like this then we are hooked. Beautiful unit, decorated well and has all the appliances you need including an Air fryer. The unit is also very clean and has great WiFi. The location is perfect, it’s just opposite Thompson’s Bay. The complex is well maintained, secure and very quiet. Nick is super friendly and very helpful. I’d definitely suggest booking this unit.

The place is perfect with an amazing sea view. We can sit in the patio and watch sea the whole day. The safety and security was very good. There is an entrance to the beach from the side of the building. The stay was very clean, lots of cooking pots and utensils, nice interior decorations, good kitchen. Everything works. Overall very nice place for a family vacation.

Such an incredible family weekend in a peaceful and stunning space. The house and view is even better than photos could depict. Zolie the housekeeper was extremely friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back!

We just had an amazing 2 week holiday at Walsh Hall. From the minute we arrived , we truly felt at home. It is the perfect holiday home. The photos certainly don't do the home any justice. Tracy, the manager, was lovely , always available and very responsive. Thuba , was excellent and cleaned for us every day. ( We requested cleaning daily ) The beach is a stones throw away and is absolutely beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle. The entire family had a wonderful holiday, adults and children alike. We will certainly book again.

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Roelof was so friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, being so close to the beach! We had a great time on our holiday and will definitely visit again!

We had the absolute best time in Zinkwazi!! The house was amazing and surpassed all expectations in so many ways. The huge pool with the view was the highlight. Sue was as good as hosts come!! She’s the best!! Can’t wait to come back soon

Lovely secluded and private flat to relax and refresh

We had a great stay at Julies House. The house is gorgeous with lots to do. The kids (and adults) were kept busy with the pool table, table tennis , pool and play stations. We arrived to no electricity in Ballito - Julie was great with comunicating what the problems were and keeping us updated with the solar power battery percentage. She even went out of her way to bring us back up lights and charging devices. The complex is very pretty - very forest like. Getting in and out wasnt too bad. Karen was great with sending all relevant access codes before arrival. The complex is right across the road from shops and about a 2 min drive to the main Salt Rock beach. We'd love to visit Julies house again!

Had a great family holiday. In walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Felt right at home. Everything was spotless and clean and the outside area is a lovely spot to hang out with friends and family. Definitely will stay here again!

Perfect spot for a relaxed beach holiday. Zinkwazi Beach may not have the glamour and easy amenities of some of the other KZN North Coast beach spots, but for sheer relaxation and laid back charm it won't be easily beaten. It has a long walkable and swimmable beach, lovely walks through the coastal forest reserve, beautiful sunsets and friendly locals. we enjoyed a great week with Tanya as our host. Enjoyed the location of the house - easy walking distance to the main beach and ski boat club bar and eatery, and it had the benefit of a lovely patio and swimming pool for when the wind comes up and the beach is not the place to be. A very enjoyable week, and we can fully recommend both Tanya as a host, and her house as the perfect beach getaway.

We had an absolute amazing time, it’s the perfect family holiday destination. Tracey’s place has great views and a big garden and pool, should you have kids this is a big bonus. The caretaker/helper is super friendly and always willing to help with anything. We had a great time and I would recommend Tracey’s house to anyone. Thank you for a great experience.

Our family only stayed for a weekend, but we felt so rested it was like a holiday. Jan was so helpful and friendly, providing many personal touches and spoils. We enjoyed nature and the outside spaces. Loved the open plan and openness with rhe stacker doors. We will definitely return.
