Everything was very clean and comfortable! She was very generous, leaving water and ice for us. There was coffee and snacks that everyone appreciated. The house is beautiful and located on beautiful land. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and the back deck. Check in and check out waa a breeze. She checked in several times to see if things were going smoothly. She is a wonderful host and I highly reccomend her!

This was my first Airbnb rental, Teresa and Mark were great hosts! Their place is nice and private with lots of peaceful nature around. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. They both cook great breakfast and are genuinely nice people. If I'm in the area again looking for a place to stay, I will be checking with them first.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was full of rustic charm, with all the modern conveniences!

We loved staying at this farmhouse! It was so peaceful and quiet and we loved the visiting dogs and the friendliest cows we've ever met! Chad and Sarah answered all my questions and were very helpful. The kids want to come stay again! The place was big and spacious and decorated so we felt right at home. They had every amenity was could want and offered to sell us wood for the fire pit, which unfortunately we didn't use because of the weather.

Beautiful farm house feels like home very peaceful and quiet! Highly recommend this place and plan to return next holiday season.. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We loved our stay! The log home feels welcoming, warm, and cozy—especially on a bleak midwinter weekend. There's a large dining space and a kitchen equipped with what looks like brand-new flatware and utensils. The beds, linens, and towels are soft and comfortable, and we appreciated the private loft space for reading and working. On the last day of our visit, Lauren gave us a private tour of the farm. She amazed us with her breadth of knowledge about farming, Illinois soils, ecology, cheesemaking, and goat care. And, oh, those goats! So sweet and friendly and curious to meet us. In hindsight, I wish we had visited after the kidding so we could've helped bottle-feed all the babies. That happens late March, Lauren says. After our tour, we ate scrumptious brunch at Caprae, the adjacent farm-to-table restaurant. It was the perfect end to a short but memorable getaway.

This house is so nice and the farm is so wonderful. It is undersold in the description. There is enough space to do any outdoor activities you would like to and the peace and quiet is great. I only live 20 mins away but it feels like a whole different place and the owners house that is on the same property is further away than any of my neighbors. We felt completely alone, besides all three friendly goats and the very friendly dog!! The kids and I loved them and they were very welcomed. Would love to come back and are definitely planning on it. My youngest daughter didn't want to leave. 5 out of 5 stars!!!!

I'm not an advide camper. I took my sister with me to get a weekend away from family. Julie was on top of all my concerns and questions. I may have been too annoying. so I'm sorry if I was. However, if she'll have me I'd love to bring my family back for next spring. perfect for light camping.

Beautiful, comfortable home in a private country setting. But just a few minutes from shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Highly recommend to those visiting the Peoria area.

The house is located in a beautiful country setting. It was very clean and decorated so cute. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. We had a perfect stay.

I was back in in the area for a college reunion weekend and stayed at the farmhouse. It was a very cozy spot with all the modern amenities you could want. There was plenty of room in the house for three of us. The surrounding area was peaceful and beautiful. I just wish we could have stayed there longer!

This is a genuinely special property and lovely place to stay. I’m already looking forward to future bookings when I travel to Geneseo to visit family.

It was cute, very well decorated and easy to find. The bed was comfortable. Walking distance to restaurant in T-town and a short drive to Effingham. Would definitely recommend and book again

What a perfect stay in a beautiful private area near the lake. Description was right on and Vicky is very responsive. Plenty of room for parking, especially with multiple boats. We Definitely will be returning!

My stay was wonderful. Illinois experience blizzard like weather for several days and we never lost power and even if we did, they had a generator in the garage as a backup and showed us how to use it and set it up. I definitely enjoyed how they plowed the driveway multiple times a day during this weather. communication is very good, and they are very helpful with any questions I had. The house was furnished with very nice furniture and had a very good washer and drier which was very helpful and convenient. Will be staying here again and highly recommend.

A gentleman was there as we arrived. He made sure we had everything we needed and told us to get a hold of them if everything was not available to us. Very friendly to deal with. The place was quiet in the country. Plenty of room for us and comfortable arrangements. Checking in and out was very easy and clear instructions.
