We rented Deer Creek Farmhouse & The Pond House for my son's wedding in Green Castle mid Nov. This property is so gorgeous and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. We were blessed with sunshine & some warmer weather for our stay which made it more enjoyable in November. After the wedding rehearsal & dinner in town Friday evening, our immediate family that was staying with us, enjoyed a nice fire at the fire pit. Smores of course & lots of laughs. Saturday, was the wedding, so we were gone most of the time. But it was so nice to get dressed and ready there, instead of a hotel room. Sunday, a few were able to enjoy some fishing at the pond and the zip line. What a fun time had by everyone! This was my first experience with an Airbnb. Michelle was so wonderful from the beginning of planning this trip. I highly suggest their wonderful place!

Dave and Wendy were amazing hosts for our church annual men's retreat. They were easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our needs. The property was perfect for our group and had everything we needed for a successful retreat. We can't wait to come back next year and would highly recommend staying with them. Everything was great and we had an excellent experience.

Bek was a fantastic host! The place is beautiful, clean, spacious and was perfect for a Chicago getaway. We spent lots of time around the fire pit on the deck! Bek even came over to say hello and show us around when we checked in. She was so friendly, kind, and responsive to my messages. I would love to stay here again :)

My husband and I spent the weekend at Sherry’s place for our 30th wedding anniversary. The farm, the lodge and our room was all very peaceful and cozy. We met Cindy upon our arrival and she welcomed us to the farm, showed us around and answered any questions we had. Her enthusiasm for the farm and all it had to offer showed. Everything we needed was there PLUS all kinds of extras. I was wowed by the attention to detail in all the little extras. We had coffees and snacks in the room and there were even Samores kits put together in the kitchen area for guests. There was wood by the fire pits, lighters, fire starter fluid and even cardboard ready to start a fire. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispenser was also in the shower in our room. Both Sherry and Cindy checked on us during our stay through texts. All of this AND we were literally minutes away from French Lick Casino and all the town has to offer. We definitely recommend and would stay here again.

I had an amazing stay! The hosts put so much thought into making guests feel welcome, from the book of local things to do to the introduction to their animals. Meeting Barb (Barbara) the dog was a highlight—she made sure to say good morning every day! The bedroom was cozy and comfortable, and while I would have loved to use the upstairs barn if the weather had been warmer, it didn’t take away from the experience. This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, so close to Turkey Run National Park and surrounded by great places to thrift and enjoy local food. I’ll definitely be back in the fall or spring!

Such a lovely place! Well maintained trails to explore. The instructions to get in and out were super clear + easy to follow. Although they live right next door, we truly felt like we had the place to ourselves. Everything you could need was provided. Close to town, but feels like a country getaway! Hope to return again and again while visiting family in the area.

This property is the perfect get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Plentiful wildlife to sit out on the porches to watch or, as we did, walking around the property. We had the 2 bedroom unit and it was immaculate in cleanliness and comfortably furnished. It was in the 90s on the days we stayed, the air conditioning was perfect. Sandy, the caretaker, left us her number and checked that we didn't need anything whenever she saw us. We definitely will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our large family event. It was expensive once the Airbnb & cleaning fees were factored in, however, it allowed our entire family to be together and that’s what was important to us. Kori is amazing at keeping in touch and goes the extra mile to be sure her guests have a great visit!!

Joe's place is fantastic. We picked Joe's place because it was large enough for our family to stay together and attend the Cross Country Championships at Blue River. Joe had the place decorated for Christmas which made our mini Christmas celebration wonderful. He had a basket with all the ingredients to make smores at the campfire. Joe is a great host who put in the extra effort to make our stay comfortable and nice. We absolutely plan to return in the future.

This was a quiet, peaceful getaway! It was off the beaten path, but close enough to local towns (Spencer, Bloomington). Billy was very responsive and so kind! We didn't need to communicate much with him, but he made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and honestly, I'm already thinking about when we can come back!

Host was very responsive and accommodating. The farm staff were so friendly. Animals were friendly. Farm is peaceful and beautiful. Bailey the farm dog is gorgeous and so sweet natured. The barndominium is nice. We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you!

This was an incredible experience for my family! The beautiful lawn and pond provided a serene backdrop that truly helped us unwind. The property’s location was perfect, offering a peaceful and safe environment while still being conveniently close to dune parks, grocery stores, etc. The farm setting was a hit with the kids. They loved interacting with the chickens and peacocks. The gardens were a great feature, with plenty of berries, peppers and beans for the kids to harvest. The owner’s thoughtful welcome gift of eggs was a delightful touch—these eggs were absolutely delicious, better than any organic ones we’ve had from stores! BTW, the kitchen was well-stocked. The swing set was another fantastic addition that kept the kids entertained for hours. Lastly, the on-site gym was impressive with its wide range of equipment, ensuring that everyone could stick to their exercise routines. All in all, this property provided everything we needed for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

This property is AMAZING. Beautiful, comfortable, well stocked, and HUGE. Near the Indiana dunes. Not to mention the hosts are so personable and accommodating! If you are thinking about booking a stay at this location, DO IT! You will not regret it. We had a mindfulness retreat at this property with 10 adults and were able to feed, sleep, and entertain everyone easily!

Appreciated and enjoyed our stay, appreciated the extras you left for us, the eggs in the fridge and coffee options were a nice touch. So nicely decorated, plenty of towels and wash cloths. Appreciated everything!

I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a tranquil escape. It's a hidden gem that provides a perfect balance of comfort and seclusion.

Have stayed here several times. Will definitely stay here again.

Pictures do not do this place justice. We were really looking forward to our visit based on the pictures and we're completely blown away when we arrived. Everything was impressive and so comfortable that we wished our visit was longer. Communication with our host was quick and easy. We will definitely book our next trip there again. By far our favorite Airbnb to date!
