Charming and unique 3-level cabin built on a steep hillside that feels very private and secluded. Very roomy for our party of 6. The king size beds were very comfortable, cabin was well furnished. Loved that theatre room! Living room is very inviting gathering place with nice wood fireplace. Lot’s of outdoor deck space to hang out, too. Easier to find home from lower cul-de-sac entrance. Use upper driveway entrance from highway to avoid stairs but may be intimidating with steep and curvy turns. Shelley is an excellent and communicative host. Great location only a 5 min drive from town.

Easily the BEST Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The cabin had all the amenities we needed and more, and the hosts were great about responding quickly if we had any questions. The coffee grinder stopped working and they even went to buy a brand new one and drop it off immediately! They decorated and used the space excellently for the size of the cabin. We loved the star gazing net and unobstructed views. It felt like we were truly far away from anyone else—the perfect get away!

Lovely place and very close to both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain.

My family and I Love it here. This cabin had everything we needed, cozy, nice and warm. We got to experience the snow, rain and sunny day. Great location, Everything felt so relaxing! It was a great get away from us. It did not had a laundry which with kids can get pretty bad with all the extra snow clothes. But, this probably and the amazing host definitely it’s a 5 stars.

A great Place to stay in middle of Moongrove, a complete residential area isolated from traffic, commercial stores etc but still very close to all attractions. home was very nice, clean, cozy with great collection of Board games and a pool table. All things were fully functional and as described. Kitchen non-stick cooking utensils need an upgrade soon as many of them have got scratches, rest all was good 👍🏼

The cabin was great. The views are amazing the deck looks brand new along with most if not all the wood in the cabin. The signs posted all over the cabin of instructions and bits of info helped. We loved everything about the cabin. Would absolutely come back

Our family of three, including a very mobile 11-month-old, had an absolutely wonderful stay in this modernized cabin near Idyllwild! The first night we had some fun rummaging through the record collection and had ourselves a little dance party to Dark Side of the Moon in the kitchen. In the morning we had breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen and headed into town. We explored the shops, checked out a local musician, and grabbed a bite to eat at Leanna’s Idyll Awhile Bistro. She has awesome Pear Cider and Mulled Wine! We headed back to the cabin after a few hours out, flipped on the wall heaters to warm up a bit, and recorded a few musical numbers using a nice little 3/4 guitar that we found upstairs. We got the baby to bed, put on a show (lots of services included on the TV), then jumped in to the hot tub for a soak - I recommend the recliner edge with the foot jets! We wrapped the night with Scrabble in the loft. Checkout was easy and Astrid’s communication was great! We’ll be back:)

I highly recommend this place for any family with pets looking for a vacation in Big Bear. The house is beautiful, and the yard is spacious—perfect for both relaxation and play. Located in an ideal spot, it’s close to everything you need while still offering peace and privacy. It’s the perfect getaway for the whole family!

It was a very comfortable stay; everything we needed was there for us. Jay gave us detailed information about what we could do and where to go. We will stay at the place again!!

We had a lovely time! The cabin was perfect for our little family and 2 dogs. It was well-equipped. A nice mix of rustic and modern. They truly are dog friendly! Lovely yard and a cozy dog bed. Would love to go back! Highly recommend!

Some details I appreciated—firewood and matches provided. Fence is 5+ feet high, in good condition and goes around the whole property which was a big plus for our dog. On a quiet street and walkable to town. Mountain tap water tasted great. Heating worked well in winter with easy to control thermostat.

I’ve stayed at Mario’s cozy cabin multiple times over the years, and always enjoy coming back again. Great stay with a large fenced in yard for the pooch, conveniently located walking distance to the village center. Will definitely be back. Thanks again, Mario!

Great location, down the road from the downtown. Lots of fun shops and great food. Overall the stay was amazing, lots of space, and very clean.

Cabin de amor was a great place to stay, my family and I stayed during the whole weekend, we enjoyed a nice and cozy place that we found well equipped for all of our needs, cabin is in a great location, there are beautiful trials on walking distance that made or stay even better… The hosts were very responsive before and during our stay, definitely a place that worths to visit. Loved it!

It was very cozy and comfortable, it was cold out but it stayed nice and warm inside. The parking space provided was nice and it was close to the town center (about 1 min drive). It had all the amenities you could want for cooking and such. The bathroom was spacious and the water was nice and warm. The bedroom was on the smaller side, but big enough for 2 people and all our stuff we brought. The living area is also nice and it was cool that the tv was on a moveable stand so we could watch from bed or from the bar. We did find the fridge to be quite small but we made it work, If you plan on staying longer than we did I would recommend bringing a cooler with ice just incase. Lisa was very friendly and helpful host and answered all our questions. Would stay again!

Robert's place is a great find. It is within a few miles of both Summit and Big Bear ski lodges. His place is easy to find and has a drive thru driveway which is helpful because it is on a busy street. The house itself was very clean and looks exactly as the pictures do. We had plenty of sleeping space and the couches were arranged so we could talk easily and relax in the evening. The kitchen was remodeled and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Robert!

Great place! Very cozy, enjoyed the hiking trails right down the street

This was my first visit to Idyllwild and I looked at a lot of cabins before picking the Clarity Cabin - and, I’m so happy I made the perfect choice! The welcome message and video made it super easy to find and the cabin is so well appointed. Every detail - from the comfy robes to towels to eco products from their Wildland store in town - you feel like a VIP guest. The location is surrounded by trees but is a 3 min drive to amazing espresso at Alpaca and the main village area. Looking forward to another visit!

Our 3 families had such an amazing time. This hike felt like it was made for us. The kids loved the game room and the bunk beds were next to each other with the sofa couch got the kids really excited. It was a slumber party for them! The big open kitchen into the family room was perfect size for cooking and chatting. Each room is really good side and so many extra pillows and blankets were there for our use. Thank you so much for having us stay here. We will definitely be back. There’s so much parking and the backyard with the hot tub and the zip line was so fun. We highly recommend.

Our stay was wonderful! Serene spot with lots of amenities (we loved the hot tub and fireplace, especially during winter). One of the best parts was how close it was to town. Super walkable, super convenient. Thank you so much!
