Nissan was the best host ever and all the staff are so welcoming and always caring. they highly contribute to create the perfect Birthday in Bali. the Villa is even more beautifull and spacious that you can see in the photo. definitely the only Villa I want to book when I go back to Bali

We absolutely loved staying here, and cannot recommend it enough. We stayed for 11 nights, and could've easily stayed longer. The house is gorgeous, even better than it looks in the photos. I've travelled in Asia a lot, and stayed in a lot of airbnbs, and this is one of the best. Communication with Romain and the neighbours is easy. We ordered a few meals from the neighbours which were delicious, but we also had no problems ordering food through Gojek to the house. We didn't have our own transport, so apart from a few lifts with Koplo, we mostly walked around the area, which is stunning. There's a gorgeous hot spring about 20 minutes walk, and in the other direction, there's a great little local shop, which in the morning sells parcels of rice and bags of curries. These were some of the best meals we had. (As a note for LGBT travellers: we didn't have any issues walking around holding hands as two lesbians, one of whom is trans. The people and the area are honestly just so lovely.)

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and luxurious, perfectly located—close to Ubud and Tegalalang, yet far enough to feel immersed in nature. The surroundings were stunning, offering a true nature experience. There’s also a small shop conveniently nearby. Highly recommended! Doni and the crew were amazing hosts! Special thanks to Mrs Astri who took care of us from the moment we came!

Lovely house overlooking a rice terrace and small private garden including a koi pond and Bali hut. Each bedroom had its own large bathroom and are separated by a full kitchen where Putu cooked us delicious breakfast each morning. It’s short walk down the beach, and you can walk to Balian Beach at low tide. Wayan can also organise a scooter for you to hire. Backs onto the main road so unfortunately a little noisy with traffic, but otherwise we loved staying there.

Esa’s hospitality was above and beyond what I expected. She and her staff were incredibly kind, helpful and all around lovely people. Budi patiently drove me around Eastern Ubud for a full day excursion. He is a sweet soul and very knowledgeable. The place itself is situated right next to a rice field and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Highly recommend staying here solo or with company. Will definitely be back soon!

Our stay at this villa in Bali was absolutely perfect! The property is stunning, with a beautiful blend of modern design and traditional Balinese touches. The pool was the highlight—crystal clear and surrounded by lush greenery, offering a private oasis to relax. The bedrooms were spacious, with incredibly comfortable beds, and the living area was perfect for unwinding. The host went above and beyond, providing exceptional service and thoughtful touches, like daily checkins and daily housekeeping. The location was ideal, close to fantastic restaurants and attractions but still peaceful and secluded. We can’t recommend this villa highly enough and can’t wait to return!

Highly recommend this place Putu and Kadek are fantastic and Kadek is a great cook . Kadek organised meals, drivers and scooters and was very fast to answer any questions Lovely family to stay with and great to get away from the hustle of the towns and into the outer parts of Ubud We will come back soon

Extra ordinary in all aspects ! Staff is excellent, food really good. Sleeping in Cobra with your “adult” kids is an experience I wish everybody could live. Very reasonable prices… I hope nothing changes as the accommodation is all over Insta.

I really enjoyed my two nights here so much I’ll be back soon !!! The rice field view , especially at sunrise is outstanding and the villa is very spacious with anything one needs, the staff ( Komang ) is very helpful and kind ! Loved the local cooking course :) It was great to have a a nice cafe steps away and others walking distance so I could stay away from noise - and enjoyed every zen moment - far away enough to chill and close enough to enjoy ubud centre…. A perfect blend to really see ubud! Can’t wait to return ! And share with my friends and family C xx

Stunning property, relaxing surrounds, gorgeous pool, great communication and local assistance from host Pebry, felt like royalty staying at this villa, only downside was the narrow driveway, however all Balinese drivers seem to deal with it just fine. Will absolutely stay here again! Was sad to leave!

This villa is fantastic, located right on the edge of the rice fields! It’s spacious, well-equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The included breakfast was a great touch, and we really appreciated that we could customize it to our preferences. The communication with the host was excellent—very responsive and helpful. The location is just outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud, making it a peaceful retreat while still being easily accessible by scooter or Gojek. Everything matched the photos perfectly. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in Ubud!

Wayan and his team went above and beyond for us during our stay at their beautiful villa. The team were all very friendly and helpful all with providing their services with a smile. Our first time to Bali and they ensured that it was a fantastic experience. The villa was beautiful and in a perfect location; all great destinations were in walking distance and very easy to get around. The villa was always clean and kept after with a warm home feeling. We are so grateful for their stay and look forward to coming back.

We’re reluctantly leaving this review, but of not fault of Jennifer’s, but for our own selfish reasons..LOL..We fear that if we adequately describe how AMAZING this place is, that it’ll be extremely hard for us to book again in the future. Not only is the property exactly as described, but coupled with the out of this world amazing staff, this place is truly a dream. Now before I run out of characters allotted, I will make mention that the drive/ride from the airport to the villa is about 3 hours, but if you’re willing to accept that, then welcome to PARADISE! Every meal that was prepared was not only delicious, as well as nutritious and FRESH! We felt right at home and welcomed, whether in the villa our out in the community. This trip was our honeymoon, and Bali and Villa Sedang will forever be a part of our love story. Thanks so much Jennifer and staff!

Villa Palmeira was an exceptional stay and I highly recommend it. Agus looked after our needs with a smile and organised daily massages, a snorkeling tour, shopping trips and more for our group. We will absolutely be coming back! Additional information that is not in the other reviews: 1. A 10L filtered water bottle is hooked up to a machine. It is safe to drink. 2. The staff know how to prepare fruits, vegetables and salad. We ate a LOT of fresh salads and did not get sick. 3. Expect to see animals around the villa including small snakes, crabs, lizards (which sound like they are quacking), dogs and cats. 4. Agus will book with local groups – meaning you will get the most bang for your buck AND experience the greatest hospitality Bali has to offer. 5. Alcohol is expensive. Customs allows 1L per person to be brought into Bali. 6. Treat the staff well and they will treat you well! Agus loves Baileys and Whiskey. We tipped $50000 - $100000 IDR ($5AUD - $10AUD) for various services.

We had an excellent stay at Diana's home in Bali. we were torn between a resort in Nusa Dua area or this. we are SO happy we decided to stay at Diana's home. The home was exactly as shown in the pictures, honestly more beautiful, pictures don't do it justice). Everything was just as the listing described! What REALLY sets this house apart and made our stay unforgettable was Wayan, the house manager. He along with the other staff (cleaner, gardener) were so helpful and friendly! We had the chance to also meet some of Wayan's family during our stay and they are such amazing people. Wayan is always there for suggestions or recommendations, but we still always had privacy. This was an excellent vacation for our family and if you are considering this, I would recommend you do it!!!

Great place to stay. About 20-30min walk to Ubud center but we usually took a taxi through the Grab app. The house manager, Ayu, was wonderful. She helped us with excursions and provided recommendations, as well cooked an amazing traditional Indonesian dinner for us one evening. There are also restaurants in walking distance if you don’t feel like going into town.

We stayed here for our second time during our 7 week stay in Ubud. We loved the location, the quiet and the spaciousness The roomy bathrooms are exceptional. We didn’t partake in the breakfast very often but it was yummy when we did. We asked Kadek to get us fresh coconut water daily and she took our laundry to the local cleaner. Super service and always with such care and kindness. Highly recommend.
