we are so happy we choose to stay at Villa Celagi for our time in ubud. we would have stayed longer but it was already booked for the days we wanted. which im not surprised because the place, the hosts and the surroundings were absolutely stunning!! The two hosts Niels and Freja (and their daughter Joy) are such lovely people and were very helpful with making our stay extra comfortable. highly recommend staying here!!

My stay at Ketut's was amazing! It is in a quiet part of Amed, short walk from several lovely beaches. Many local shops and restuarants. This was exactly what I was looking forward to with local living- truly a part of the beachside community. The house is spacious, good wifi, and was perfect for my month-long stay to work remotely. In addition to the location being beautiful, nestled in the mountains and near to the sea, I cannot say enough good things about Ketut and his family! They were excellent hosts, taking care of everything possible when asked- like wanting to rent scooters. Dinners with his family, and coffee made in the morning when I would greet his elderly mother (who only speaks Balianese but is so kind), make you feel like you are with extended family. Even when I fell ill, Ketut made sure I got to the clinic and checked after my well-being. It was truely like a home away from home. Truly humbled to have spent my time with Ketut and his family in Amed.

We really loved the central location of the house. Right next door to a spa and minutes from the beach. Bicycle rental is essential in my opinion. Bring a flashlight or headlamp for night biking. Bibi was 100% honest that there was going to be construction next door but we decided to take our chances and it wasn’t bad at all. We would totally stay here again

Wonderful Stay at the villa, A Perfect Getaway! it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The villa was beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Rooms, spacious rooms and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. A big shout out to Yoga the housekeeper who was very helpful and a really great person. One of the highlights was the outdoor spaces- a great pool surrounded by lush greenery and the roof top area making it the perfect spot to end the day. The location was also good, there is a short walk to the Main Streets as the villa is at the end of the lane but offers privacy. The staff/service was exceptional, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay, they went above and beyond setting up a wonderful floating breakfast for us during the stay Overall, the villa exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. I can’t wait to visit again!

We stayed for 2 nights and we really like this place. It’s cozy and you can find anything that you need as travelers: utensils in kitchen, many electrical outlets, etc. They even provide us with eggs, cookies, and instant noodles! Rooms are nice, neat, and clean. Mama Nita is also a great host. She will do everything she can to make your stay comfortable. The only drawback is that one of the glass walls in the front bedroom doesn’t have curtains. At night, the bright light from the garden shines into the bedroom. As a result, we couldn’t sleep well because the room couldn’t be darkened. Our suggestion is to add curtains to that part. Other than that, we like this place and recommend it for anyone who want to stay in the heart of Labuan Bajo.

Wij zijn anderhalve maand geweest met als doel te werken in een rustige, mooie omgeving. Dat is heel goed geslaagd. De villa ligt prachtig, rustig en afgelegen, direct aan het strand en met een heel fijne en mooi onderhouden tuin en zwembad. De wifi was ook uitstekend voor dit doel. Hoewel het huis wat verouderd is en de (keuken)inrichting vrij basic, hebben we ons er goed thuisgevoeld. De bedden zijn goed en er waren nieuwe banken. Er is een grote tv. De staf is vriendelijk en zorgt dagelijks voor de basis schoonmaak en mooie bloemen (Kadek), de tuin (Komang) en nacht security (Riris). Ngurah, de villamanager, spreekt goed engels en is bereikbaar voor vragen en als er onderhoud nodig is (bv stroom en warm water). We konden met hem uitstapjes maken en wekelijks naar Singaraja voor boodschappen in goed ingerichte supermarkten (Artesedana had veel verse producten waardoor we lekker zelf konden koken) en op de markt. Lopend dichtbij warungs (bezorgen ook) en voor kleine boodschappen.

Spacious villa with plenty of room for kids to roam. The pool was a good size. Host was very responsive and accommodating, and provided helpful tips especially on the Nyepi festival. Villa manager was friendly and helpful, and helped to make all the necessary arrangements such as airport transfer, booking of massage services, in-house meal preparations, and cleaning up of the villa as and when required. Was a pleasant experience!

The place is great and matches the photos. The pool is great and sound system is amazing. Had a real blast at the villa.
