A lovely home in a peaceful seaside village. Really clean and tidy. Plenty of towels, including one for the dog’s paws! Close to the sea, just one street away, with partial sea views from front rooms of the house. Log burner was great and warmed the whole house after being on for a while! Lovely unexpected welcome drinks and snacks! We had a great stay, not only was the house perfect for our needs, the local area is beautiful with friendly locals. Amazing views from the coastal walks that start just 30 seconds away from the front door! Lovely bar/restaurant, cafe and small shop all a short walk away. Muriel was responsive and helpful when we messaged. Can highly recommend and we would stay again. Thank you!

What can I say about Alasdair's place? I truly wish I could write a novel about this little cottage by the sea. It was everything I had hoped for & delivered so much more. The magic infused in the area is palpable & after everything we went through to get there (think power outage at Heathrow & 42 plane ticket changes later just to get there - not including the train & Ubers), this little slice of heaven was exactly on the menu. Alasdair was so accommodating & so willing to work with the issues we encountered travel-wise. This was the most relaxed I have seen my 22 year old son in almost 10 years. The place did what no other vacation spot has ever done for him - allowed him to just breathe & to just be. This is what I mean by the magic. You cannot place a price on that & as a parent, it was the most wonderful thing to see. My 16 year old daughter was just a smitten with the beauty of the area and loved the shops and the local people we encountered. Thank you again We will be back! A+++

This is one of the best Airbnb stays I have had over the years. Sharon was just unbelievably kind and considerate as a host. From start to finish this was a smooth stay. As we were there over Christmas we didn’t get to visit a lot of places, but we took walks along the beach which was lovely, especially when the sun was starting to set. The home was furnished very well and had all the amenities that you would need. Despite us going over our checkout time (again apologies for this) Sharon and the team were so understanding and allowed us to move out our things and kept that kind spirit. In a way it might’ve been a plus as we got to meet her in person and she is just as lovely. Would truly recommend this home. And will definitely be booking this over summer at one point and for a longer stay, to really take in the house!!

Traumhaft schöne Lage. Freistehendes Häuschen mit Garten direkt am Stand. (Garten ist durch die ruhige Straße getrennt vom Haus). Schöne Schlafzimmer und bequeme Betten. Das Bad ist sehr einfach aber ausreichend. Separates WC im EG. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt.

Beautiful property located right next to then sea! Well equipped and very clean! John was very helpful and was very quick in responding to any queries we had. We had an azing couple of days and the weather was absolutely perfect! Thanks John, well will definitely be back :)

The most beautiful cottage by the bay/sea. As soon as you arrive you feel a calmness. All you could ever want in the cottage and the village including 2 wonderful pubs with great food. We love our stays here. The Owners are very friendly and helpful . We hope to be back next year. Thank you.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Katies Haus sehr genossen, auch wenn es nur kurz war. Alles war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Mit Katie zu kommunizieren war einfach und die Anweisungen im Haus klar und verständlich. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Portmahomack ist ein schönes Dörfchen am Meer und es hat alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt in Katies Haus braucht. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

L'alloggio era veramente caratteristico e con una storia propria, che i proprietari hanno condiviso lasciando alcuni fogli a disposizione degli ospiti. Non mancava nulla ed era molto caldo e accogliente. ..ci torneremo volentieri in futuro!

Our stay at the cottage was great! It was such close proximity to Fort George and the beach which we enjoyed walking along as the sun set. It was well equipped and we so enjoyed our time.

There was everything we needed; towels, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, utensils, coffee, tea, cooking oil. The beds are very comfortable but are high. Each bedroom is spacious and very nicely decorated, with sufficient wardrobe/drawer space and lamps. There is a shower room downstairs which is great for anybody staying in the ground floor bedroom. The location was great, only metres from the beach and with plenty of street parking. Overall it’s a great place and we will be visiting again.

Perfectly located in the heart of Findhorn, a quiet, friendly village moments from a beautiful beach. Perfect location to chill or use as a base to explore Moray. The property was warm, comfortable and clean and just as it was described. Off street parking was easy to access. Terry’s instructions were clear and he was quick to respond with friendly advice. We will definitely consider coming back.

Had a great 3 night stay in this lovely cottage. We found it clean and tidy, with everything that we needed for our visit. Ideally located for exploring Loch Ness and Inverness, and was perfect for for relaxing after busy days. Would highly recommend

Another wonderful stay at St Trinneans. Plenty of room for 3 generations of our family - 7 in all. We've stayed her a few times now and Karen is always easy to contact and very friendly to deal with. The property is clean, comfortable and cosy with wonderful views. Thoroughly recommend and I'm sure we will be back before too long. Thanks again Karen.

Mark is a great host and our employees couldn't have been happier with their stay at Marks home whilst working away. Mark is extremely helpful and responsive to messages and thankfully was able to extend our stay as our job over ran the length of time expected. Extra cleans & bedding changes were completed promptly and nothing was too much a bother :)

The house was fabulous. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home there. It has everything you need and is in a great location. Gillian was a very helpful responsive host and we would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Laurence’s place. Was in a good location from the village and easy to find. Had everything we needed for a short stay and hope to stay more in the future to prepare us for our move to Brora! Beautiful village and surroundings, lovely peaceful break. Host was quick to respond to and communicated well.

Beautiful house- well equipped and comfortable. Close to the Bakery and the village shop. It had a lovely enclosed patio which made it very dog friendly. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

A fantastic stay at Wendy’s lodge for a long weekend with our two children (15 and 8) to revisit my husband’s favourite haunts when he was stationed at RAF Lossiemouth. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to be based for our trip down memory lane. The lodge was spacious and immaculately presented with every amenity we could have possibly needed. The beautiful beach is only a short walk away with miles of white sand to enjoy. Ron welcomed us and was able to give us all the information we required along with great recommendations for eateries. We ate in the Firth Hotel and had a superb freshly cooked meal. We also had super fish and chips from Lossie fish and chip shop. We are keen birdwatchers and were spoilt for rare species to view, especially at the mouth of the River just a few metres from the lodge. We also paddle board - I recommend West Beach for this as it is calmer. East beach was great for body boarding which the kids loved. Thank you Wendy and Ron for a fabulous stay.

Fantastic place had a great time visiting our daughter and her husband. The local area is absolutely stunning with lots to do and the accommodation is so cosy you could just stay there very easily. Welcome pack was incredible and a lovely touch. Dog friendly and the walks straight from the house were perfect for the dog. Highly recommend the harbour lights restaurant and the galley fish and chip shop walking distance from the cottage. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you Wendy.

Really lovely cottage next to the railway line and near the swing bridge. Several interesting railway-themed books to browse through. Bus stop practically outside too. Otherwise Inverness centre is a 40-minute walk. Clean and warm.
